I was forced to edit my review from 2 stars down to 1 since these guys have left me with a flat tire and late to work 2 days in a row this week. I brought in 2 tires that needed to be re-mounted and balanced, and they did that on last Friday where I was charged $70 for the service and my bill shows valve stems were replaced and beads were cleaned. Monday morning I have a flat and find out it's leaking from the bead, so I return and have it "fixed" under warranty. This morning I have a flat again, it's leaking from the valve stem, so I check the other one and sure enough that valve stem is leaking too. Today the owner admits he "assumed" the valve stems were changed which is why I was charged the first time, even though they were not changed, so he refunded me $30 of my $70. So after my 3rd visit, 4hrs of driving time/gas back and forth to town, and $600 in lost wages from missed work this week... I finally have 2 tires that don't leak. I will not be returning and I would not recommend them for any tire work.

Had an emergency lug stud breakage in need of repair and Pfeiffer Auto got me in same day. This place is fantastic! Since moving to the Dells area, this is my go to place. They are incredibly friendly, extremely well priced and fantastic crew! Thank you Pfeiffer for continuing to be a top notch auto body shop! Would highly recommend.

Home repair gone wrong. Put in an emergency call, they said get it in and they will look at it asap. We had it towed and home the following evening. Icoming from a family of mechanics i realize Nothing always goes as planned but these guys do their best to be Friendly, knowledgeable and honest, and we will recommend them to anyone!Thank you again!!!!

Called them on a wendsday to see if they can order me two tires and put them on Friday and they said yes. I called four other places and they all said no, but not them. I definitely will go back for service on my car

Quality work at a fair price. Usually do most of my own repairs but when I'm short on time or in over my head this is where i go. Last time more was wrong than i brought it in for "coolant flush"they found what was wrong check if i wanted it fixed before they went ahead and fixed it then took me through everything they found and fixed. I've been going to Pfeiffer's Auto Repair for decades. They work on all my vehicles & no one else. I trust Bill & his team totally with my cars. Bill has always been fair on all his prices & sticks behind all their work. I have a 57 Chevy that Bill did the work on...Engine & etc...Very Pleased with everything.Merry Christmas to Bill & his team. This place is great! These people are fast and professional. They are willing to work with you and give you a more then fair price. I had a break down emergency with powerstring and they were able to help me so I didn't lose my job. They fixed my AC real quick too and I am very happy and cool. We were traveling through town with our camper and our truck started to overheat. It was 3pm on a Friday afternoon and Pfeiffer was able to squeeze us in and help diagnose the problem.They couldn't get the part that day but fit us in Monday and we were able to continue our trip.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Bill was great. I am an out of towner, passing through Adams from work and my car broke down. I called a few places and explained my emergency, that I lived 130 miles away and needed someone to look at the car right away. Everybody said no chance, but Pfeiffer said bring it in! I was fully prepared to be stuck in a hotel overnight while they waited for parts. Not only did they have my car fixed in 3 hours but the price was significantly less than I expected! I was thrilled with the service and quality. I highly recommend Pfeiffer auto repair.Service: Engine repair

Fuel tank strap broke on my truck and needed to get back to Chicago the next day. They were kind enough to order the parts, squeeze me in first thing in the morning next day and get me going. Actually quoted me about an hour and could of charged me that but they were done in thirty min and were honest about it.... they even knew that me and the wife and our dog were walking down the street to the flea market park to wait and the younger man... Will, I believe his name was, surprised us and picked us up. Good, quick, honest.... thanks guys! God bless you for your honesty and kindness!Came back again with a blown plug on my ford F1 50 and Louie was right on it and was able to take care of everything honestly and quickly. Girl at the front desk was a sweetheart and everybody was nice as usual. Good people!

I'm in my mid 50s and to sell cars for a Chrysler dealership, thus I know mechanics, who are now called techs.I have done business with Mr. Phifer for over a year. Never in my life have I witness such great work and fair charges that are given here. I've lived in this area for 3 years and suggest to any in this ti go to Phiffers for any and all car repairs. Just a hint, when I needed new shocks, Phifer installed them at a third of the costs of all others in surrounding communities and Adams area.Services: Auto engine tuning, Engine repair

The absolute trustworthy business i have ever been in for help and service. The many times I had to use their shop and mechanics, I was never lied to, inflated a bill, installed or sold unnecessary parts, talked over my head in an attempt to impress me. Bill, the owner, in an honest man, genuinely careing. His integrety, shines through his quiet courtesy eye, explanations and finally a most reasonable bill. "Bring it in", he said over the phone to me. "I'll try to squeeze it in though we're busy". Bill was good to his word and repaired my downed catylitic converter and broken pipe. I was desperate and Bill cared.Small, homey, shop with a friendly black cat and some real smart local mechanics. No problem can stumpt them. Cars are their expertise.
