Loved to have a great night with close friends. Slots and table games are great. The staff in every department are all so helpful, professional and very friendly. The food at the Point restaurant is absolutely incredible and worth the price of the meals. We love going to the casino and will plan to stay at the hotel soon!Food & drinks: The food at the Point restaurant is immaculate! Worth every penny and the staff there is incredible. They take care of their customers. Same with the food court, amazing food, beverages and staff.

Family trip to the Casino was so worth it. We had a great time even though we all went away losers. Very clean, service everywhere was friendly and the rooms were great. I would not, unfortunately, recommend the buffet. The price is too high for the quality of the proteins. The ribeye and chicken were sub par and no one in our party of 9 was impressed with either offering. We did eat a lot of Crab legs and some of us enjoyed the lobster. I found it to be quite chewy and rubbery. The pasta bar was phenomenal, but not very well advertised, so by the time I figured out it was available, everyone else was too full to go make their own pasta dish. Some of the desserts were still partially frozen and not as rich and delectable as i expected for the price. Over $500 was spent in our group to eat. We all agreed we would just order pizza next time, but We would definitely go back to gamble and stay at the hotel.

You need to go through a sketchy part of town to get to casino. Ate at Saturday buffet all you can eat steak and lobster $50, greet deal. Food was good, was expecting more of a variety, desert table was embarrassing, no salad bar, bread was on one plate. Dining area was partioned off very odd setup. Service was good. We expected more for the price

This is the third time that we ve been here. I was a little shocked that they didn t have a refrigerator in the rooms but it s a casino, so perhaps they removed them The last two times that we were there we had one!!! However, everything was great. I played a two dollar machine I ve never played before and ended up winning $780. I was thrilled . We live in Pennsylvania, so it doesn t take us long to get there maybe two hours at best!!! I always enjoy myself when I m there. The place is extremely clean the deli has excellent food, and so does the buffet.Rooms: The rooms are great You have every amenity that you need whenever you re there!! They are very very spacious Of course we had a king size room and it was really nice!

We went on a Saturday night and scored a free buffet! Even near closing time, the food was fresh and delicious. The waitress kind of complained because we got drinks that she had to get from the bar and then never got them for us. We had to eventually ask a different person to bring our drinks. Overall, I enjoyed the buffet, but not enough to ever pay full price for it. The casino is super smoky and could use some air fresheners. The casino is pretty big with a lot of gaming options. A lot of machines were filled with people not playing the games, just sitting there while someone else plays.

The Dog racing is the Highlight of this place. Rooms are decent. Food was good. People are friendly. Slots are tighter than my pants after Thanksgiving dinner. Played $1 machine 38 times in a row and didn't even hit $1. For Dog racing excitement, I highly recommend. For slots. Save your $. Still very much worth it for the racing. 1 of only 2 Dog race tracks left in the U.S.

I went to the casino to get a free gift but I missed the day. Instead I found that I had $90 from free slot play. From there I played my slot play and ended up winning $39. And I never stayed at the hotel. The drinks were good. I utilize the floor service and got my drink in 3 minutes and it was at a discounted price. It was in a convenient location from Columbus Ohio in between Pittsburgh PA. I will go again.

Came to Wheeling Island on 03/15/2024 and I was very disappointed. The heat in the building was so hot I didn't even stay an hour.Check cashing fee went up almost $2. Some of the staff acted like they did not want to be working. Slots where tight. Food court food over priced and not that great for the price point. Won't be back for a while. Might have to make a trip to PA and see if it's any better.

This place is not worth coming to anymore.They do not pay out at all.They are so low on money that they banned me for taking a 22 cent ticket out of a machine.If a place cares that much about change that someone left behind, then they're not doing very well.I've been coming here for 14 years and used to win lots of money here. They actually had one of their stot attendants start talking to me to figure out which machines I was hitting. Then they got rid of the machines, or moved them to a different place and they stopped paying out.He pretended to be my friend for months until I got banned for life.This place used to be awesome.I guess they couldn't keep up with the competition from other casinos.

When we got there first they said they were booked but oh the found us a room and my room was awful/disgusting they moved us to a different room but I think they should've given some type of reimbursement. Then we go to eat at the point we got the Valentine's special. Our food was awful. Lobster was like rubber steak was over cooked. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. The price we paid was crazy for a terrible dinner and stay

It s a very nice casino inside. The gambling floor has plenty of gambling options and the dealers are friendly. The staff was OUTSTANDING from the valet, shuttle driver, the front desk and even security. Our room was very clean and neat. My only complaint from the whole stay is that our neighbors at one one point were smoking tons of weed and it made our room reek of it.

Don t forget you I d every single person gets IDd. Smaller casino decent mix of old and new. The casino is split between smoking & non smoking. They recently became strict anti 2A.Still a decent value for a quick day visit.

I didn't actually go to this hotel, I went to the casino and some of the dog races. I was on a senior bus from Pittsburgh. The buffet was not open while we were there so we actually got some food at the food Court. Everything we ordered was quite delicious. Since we left Pittsburgh quite early, I decided not to have coffee but found it there free on a table making me very happy. I tried my first time at the roulette table and found that quite exciting with the game attendant or dealer very nicely explaining it to me.They have great slot machines there. I had a great time playing them. I will say, that I find this whole entire place very clean and extremely well taken care of. Ladies always need bathrooms in their bathrooms were spotless.Unfortunately we weren't there long enough to see all the dog races but we did get to see about 5 and that was a lot of fun. We had some perks form on the bus which helped with the finances quite a bit.

Terrible experience. Disgusting bathrooms that smelled of urine and the toilet seat was all scratched up by a knife it looked like.Floors were dirty, tables weren t available. Sportsbook is always closed for some reason. None of the slots paid at all, can t remember a time when I went to a casino and spent several hundred between several machines and not win. Service was terrible. Met with attitudes and lack of enthusiasm. This place is a dump compared to meadows or rivers.No promos were offered either.

So the elevators were not functioning. A super sweet lady directed us to the steps. Not a problem. When we were heading up the steps we were confronted by 2 security guards who were not very polite about "why" we were on the steps..... Not cool at all. If you send people up the steps tell your staff so patrons are not treated like a deviant.

Been going to the casino forever. I remember when the payouts were in quarters. You used to carry little buckets around in case you won. I remember when the parking lots were full you had to ride around or park a mile away now days you can park about anywhere. They made so many changes that it isn't worth going over. I remember when the machines had good payouts but not anymore. Your lucky to even hit. I go to the high rollers room and play the quick hits and they don't pay out anything anymore..... WAATE OF MONEY

What a horrible place! We called the front desk because our toilet wasn't working.The front desk told us that maintenance doesn't come in until 8. I asked what he thought we should do because it's 6:30a.m. He did not offer a response. I don't know what is worse, the plumbing or their customer service. I highly recommend you never stay here. Adding a follow up. After checking out we were told by the supervisor that after an hour after we called the front desk, she sent up maintenance... I was happy to hear she didn't break a nail while dealing with the plumbing!!! Please note I didn't ask for a refund because I paid for exactly what I got, A LITERAL $HIT-SHOW!!!Rooms: Don't expect bathroom facilities

This was my first time back here since 2021. I had a great time! Plenty of bathrooms, self-serve soda and coffee machines, and the staff was super friendly. My parents and I ate at the food court which was amazing! I had a burger, which was huge and the toppings were so fresh and crisp. My mother had a wrap and my father had the Italian sandwich. Both of their dinners were fantastic as well! Service was quick and the food tasted great! The employees at the food court should definitely be recognized for all their hard work. We would have eaten at the buffet, but our bus left before they opened, no biggie. We have something to try next time! Thank you for a great afternoon of fun Wheeling!! Me & my girlfriend had fun . We will definitely be returning soon . It was worth the 2hr drive from Ohio. I wish they had a person walking around passing out drink Food & drinks: Crab legs & lobster

It was okay. I never had been and was in the area so stopped to check it out. The rewards giving a gas card scratch off was okay but I think a free play offer that way would have been better when getting the rewards card. I probably won't be there again unless I am in the area by chance.

I stopped and stayed here while in route to Maryland. I'm glad I did! I had fun on the blackjack table. Then I got lucky playing wheel of fortune. Sign up for the players card! I got 7 free bucks for the slots. And when I was done playing and hungry, I got dinner in their cafeteria area. I got the 8oz steak, it came with onions and mushrooms, fresh steamed broccoli, and good mashed taters. I paid 4 bucks extra for the combo and got a side salad and drink. It was good! I was kind of sad the poker tables are not open for play on Monday and Tuesday. But then again, maybe that is why I got lucky playing 21 and slots? I plan to come back. I had a great time. The hotel room is large and clean! Five stars from me for this visit!

We enjoyed our trip to Wheeling downs. It was about 50 miles away and there are three or four casinos closer, but we enjoyed the slot machines and the buffet.Food & drinks: The Buffet had a good selection and a reasonable price. The drinks were good as well.

This was my first trip to the establishment. The hotel is very nice but the table games leave a lot to be desired. I was there on a Mon-Tues and expected it to be slow. I was not expecting only two Blackjack to be open both days. Some of the dealers were just terrible. They were slow and could not handle the cards. Two of the male dealers fingernails looked like they had just changed to oil on his car. If you want to gamble in WV, go to Mountaineer and skip this disaster in Wheeling.

The only redeeming aspect of this hotel/casino is the size of the hotel room we rented. I highly recommend this casino if you like feeling oppressed, silenced, and ultimately stranded without a place to stay at 2am in a neighborhood that could use some type of government or company sponsorship. My partner and I were kicked out of the casino (and therefore also the hotel) at 2am Thanksgiving Day morning because my partner parked as close to an entrance as possible and I met him there and opened the door, like a gentleman for him. Neither one of us knew that this was an Emergency Exit. My partner, well into his 30 s, who was previously ID d by security when we checked in, had no reason to dodge security, he even offered them his ID when he was pulled out of the elevator and kicked out of the casino. They then came for me and kicked me out of the casino and the hotel room I paid for already. I was made to pack my bags in front of a glaring security manager who allowed me no voice of reason, questions or understanding of what was happening and why was I being treated like a criminal when all I did was save my partner from walking an extra 20 feet by opening a door for him. But then to be accused as a lying to them and knowingly breaking rules and fluent where all the check points are, which entrances are and are not entrances but exits from certain times of day and seasons .this was my first (and presumably my last) trip to this casino; my first time on the casino floor, i knew nothing about the entrance and exit policies of each door, what clusters of security guards are or are not security checkpoints, nor would I ever care, I have nothing to hide, avoid or lie about.I went back to the casino/hotel to make things right, to understand what went wrong, where the misunderstanding was or at the very least get refunded for a $400+ bill for a hotel I wasn t allowed to stay in. But I was stopped at the main security booth and not allowed to even speak to a representative from the hotel. I was instructed to leave the property immediately and if I wanted to communicate with anyone from the hotel I could call or email.Without a rational explanation as to why I was dealt such a harsh punishment for what I thought was an act of kindness my mind can only wonder; Was I being targeted because I m a minority? Gay? Or an easy target to scam having me pay for a hotel room (3 nights = $450) to kick me out so they could flip it make more money from someone else?!?
