I've been with Republic services for three weeks and so far they are running 0 for 3 at pickup of trash at the scheduled time and 1 for 3 on weekly pickup at all. I'd give 0 stars if it was possible.Service: Trash removal & disposalService: Trash removal & disposal

Update 1: On 12/31/21 contacted the customer service representative that replied to my negative review. They asked for my information, I provided it including my case number. As of 1/11/22, I have not received a response for 11 days.Dishonest and unprofessional. Refused to take responsibility and repair nearly $1,000 in damage to my vehicle caused by one of their roll-back trucks.Driver did not stop when the incident occurred and admin/insurance refused to cover the repairs. Their excuse was that the truck supposedly was empty despite the fact I provided them with video evidence.I worked with them respectfully and in good faith and they didn't return my calls for a week. Then, once I finally did get a claim filed, their response after another 2 weeks was a letter saying to file a lawsuit if I wanted compensation since they know even in small claims court and without a lawyer, the fees alone would still outweigh any benefit I would be awarded.I will never use Republic Services commercially or residentially and advise anyone who has an incident with a Republic Services truck to stop immediately, call the police and file a report at the scene. Do not trust anything the driver, admin or their insurance says. Republic will absolutely not work with you honestly and in good faith.

The bad: the website to pay your bill is always having issues, very frustrating. I have spent hours trying to pay my bill, the highest in the industry I might add. Sad because the good: local employees are awesome and do an amazing job, careful and diligent. I have no clue what your name is that has our route but you sir went above and beyond your job duties this morning! My baby has been very sick for the past few days and I've been running on little to no sleep and completely forgot to set out the trash last night. I remembered this morning when I took my kiddos across the road to catch the bus and seen the neighbor's trash had already been picked up. While waiting on the bus here comes the trash truck going back out the ridge. Instead of continuing to drive you stop and asked me "Did you not have trash to pick up today?" I responded with "actually I forgot to set it out" and then you threw er in reverse and back up our driveway and emptied the trash can!! For that I thank you sir!! Truly a "Garbage" company. I have been trying to schedule a bulk item pickup (supposedly I am entitled to two per month) for over three weeks now. They have failed to pick up my item on four scheduled days so far. I have been on the phone with them six separate times for this one pick up and they continue to fail miserably.They don't care about customer service due to a monopoly in this area imposed by the public service commission. Unhappy customers have nowhere else to turn. Trust me, I have called around.We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Republic Service's weaknesses unfortunately include picking up trash when they say they will and communicating with their customers. I haven't noticed any strengths yet but I am sure they have at least one...Update: it has been 23 days since I first called to schedule this pick up and they still haven't come. They have been picking up my normal trash which is literally touching the bulk item. Pathetic.Update: Now it has been 25 days. Supposedly they will get it tomorrow. I talked to corporate today and they called the local branch. The local branch said they had been down my road but couldn't find my house because I don't have house numbers. This is a pile of bull for two reasons:1. I do have numbers on my mailbox2. The queen size mattress and box springs they are supposed to be picking up are like a soiled white beacon of trash, inches off the road and touching my Republic Services trash can. They can not be missed.The level of incompetence of this company absolutely astounds me.

They didn t pick up our garbage Monday. So we called they were suppose to get it today never came will have to call again tomorrow. They got the neighbors on Monday but ignored ours. Told us they would get it by the end of today.Service: Trash removal & disposalService: Trash removal & disposal

We have had a very positive experience with Republic Services in regard to our business's waste needs, but as we all know it's the people involved in an organization that really make the difference and we have the best rep! Xaviar is super responsive whenever we reach out and always assists us in a timely and accommodating manner.

Great service! Our pick up is always on time. Even with holidays, they are never more than a day behind. The employees are extremely educated on their products as well. They are able to answer any questions you may have.

Republic has been very reliable in my particular neighborhood (Morgantown, WV). I have resided at my home for almost 22 years, and have been missed 10 or less times in all those years. Most, if not all those misses, were snow related. And any large, bulk item that I've had to dispose of has been picked up without any problem. I feel that Morgantown is a difficult area to service to begin with, with many narrow streets, a lot of on-street parking which makes access to some of the streets difficult. Certain areas of this town experience more frequent misses, and I do hear the complaints from my place of employment. There would not be a company without issues, but speaking from my personal experience, they have been great!Services: Yard debris removal, Appliance removal & disposal, Junk removal, Electronic waste removal & disposal, Furniture removal

These people are awful. They never performed the service as discussed, not even once. After sixty or so days of trying to get them to do the job right we cancelled the contract because of their breach of contract. They left the dumpster for around a month in front of our building. They only removed it when they were told they would be charged storage charges and that we would have it hauled away. They never left it in the back building as agreed. Their people created a mess which we had to clean up every day. Finally, we agreed on a number for us to pay which we promptly paid. They continued to contact us and threaten us with collection proceedings. I am reporting them to the state Attorney General for their fraudulent practices.

Great experience! They really went the extra mile in helping my family with a large dumpster. Not only was the service great and fast, the price was fair too. I pay for weekly trash pick up but currently have gone 3 weeks without trash pick up! They say it's due to weather and the holidays. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but I can't. This is ridiculous. I have bags of trash piling up on my back deck so nothing gets into them since my dumpster is full. They refuse to compensate my bill because it is "unforseen circumstances." Well I worked the holidays and weekends driving on the same road. UPS has delivered to my home and I have seen numerous trucks (except trash trucks) on the road. Very poor customer service.

Terrible terrible TERRIBLE service. They don't pick up the trash when they are supposed to. When you call the number to report no trash collection, they tell you that they will be there on the following day and they never show up. They expect to be paid in full for the service that they only provide half the time. After several trash misses we cancelled our service with Allied Waste. We now have excellent service with another trash collecter who actually does what they are paid to do! Imagine that! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

They are awful service they never show up on the day there scheduled for always canceling pickups . Then you get the annoying voice on answering machine DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES WE WERENT ABLE TO PICK YOUR TRASH UP WE KNOW YOU UNDERSTAND what a joke won't even be bad out and there no show . Either hire better employees or get out of business only reason your around still is nobody else to compete with

The worse company I have every dealt with. When we got a quarter inch of snow they wouldn t come and every excuse possible they never come and pick up the trash. Please do not use this provider they are terrible

If I could give them no star at all, that s what I would do! They constantly forget to pick our trash up & when you call they say it will be picked up later in the day..needless to say it doesn t get picked up until the next day or the next pick up date. Horrible service!

I used to work at a drywall plant . They would come to pick up garbage. They were super friendly and nice
