Ya ll I just want to take a moment to tell you how awesome Corey Rash and his shop Rash automotive is! My son hit a deer and messed his car up pretty bad and the insurance company was going to total it out even with full coverage he was going to end up with nothing. We took his car to them and they made magic happen! My son now has the option to keep & fix his car thanks to the hard work and empathy this man and his shop had for other people! He is not just a mechanic who fixes cars ya ll he is a wonderful, understanding person who does his absolute best to make sure every person that walks in and out of his shop is truly taken care of and not by doing some quick beat up fixes, but being completely thorough in everything that they all do there!! Anyone who needs automotive work done I have taken every one of my vehicles to them for years and have had the same experience each and every time!

My wife and I were treated very well by this local mechanic shop! The valice on our 15 passenger van had been accidentally damaged causing it to hang loose and unsecured. Not a big deal to fix under normal circumstances, but we were 900 miles from home and at a hotel. So we called Rash Automotive and were told to bring it over. A couple of zip-ties and a person willing to get under there and we were back road worthy in a matter of 10-15 minutes! Thanks Cory for the help!!

Took my truck to see if they could put parts on that 4-5 other places said they wouldn t do because its a 23yo truck! I took it to them they looked at it Wednesday I dropped it off Wednesday evening drove by Thursday it was in the shop drove by Thursday night it was in the lot done and they called be before they unlocked the door letting me know it was done! I got it back and very happy with it!

This place is the biggest rip off ever! They took 6k from me for an engine and continuous coolant leaks! The best part is my engine they put has the worst oil leak since I bought it and my car continues to leak coolant everyday! I spent 6k and they just did really bad work! Also the work took over 3 months to complete! I was told 2 weeks when I said yes to the deal. I took my car to Monroe automotive and I was missing parts from my vehicle! They place will take all of your money and you will continue to have problems!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

AVOID AT ALL COSTSEdit, 8/14/21 we just picked up the car from here after needing multiple things repaired and it is worse than when we dropped it off. Unbelievable. Every single light is on, and a few new ones too. "Car is running great come get it". Service engine soon, abs, transmission, coolant, every single alert this car has is going off not even five minutes down the road. And now the rear shocks are blown out, conveniently after having rear end work done. Also supposed to have replaced/repaired parking brake and it does not work. I am so let down after this. We have had a great experience in the past and I refused to take this car anywhere else but obviously something serious has changed here. Taking the car here has now caused more issues for me and an untold amount of money to fix. Avoid at all costs. I feel like a complete fool for recommending them now to everyone who warned me about coming here.

Made an appointment for a diagnostic on an Audi. Very intric automobile!! Tech is very knowledgeable. Car was coded. They replaced the part the next day or two days later for me. He spent all day doing it, never stopped working!! Only charged the amount I was quoted. Good people. Honest in my book!

i DO NOT recommend this place to ANYONE!!! I have taken my car there over and over for a span of EIGHT MONTHS! every time i get my car back it is worse than before. it started off with just an exhaust leak, bad vanos seal, and a SINGLE misfire. now i have all of those problems, also including every cylinder misfiring, OIL POURED into my POWER STEERING, oil burning and leaking, and smaller issues aswell. i had also found out an employee driving the car of a customer to do NONWORK RELATED THINGS. all im saying is that if you value your car like i do, youll stay far away from this place.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Engine repair, Auto maintenance

Lie after lie after lie. Avoid this place at all cost.Edit: Dropped the car off on Tuesday June 8th was told they wouldn't get to it till the following Monday, which was fine. Service manager called on June 11th and diagnosed the car which I had told them exactly what needed done. A water pump installed and a gasket changed. Didn't hear anything from them after the 11th and passed the shop daily to see my car wasn't being worked on at all. Finally stopped in on Friday July 2 just to see if they planned on working on it. Was told that they were low on mechanics but I was at the top of the list, in fact I was told that they were going to work on it starting Monday July 5th. I drive past the shop every day and still nothing.. my car sitting in the same place day after day week after week. Other cars coming and going and mine just sitting. So today July 14th after spending over a month without my car I went and retrieved it. I would have got it last week but Mrs. Bain wanted to give you all the benefit of the doubt. But after reading all the other 1 star reviews she decided I was right. My original statement stands, this place is very unprofessional. Avoid it at all cost.

I took my car to have the breaks and rotors replaced. Once they looked at the car they found that my problem was something much simpler and cheaper. Loved finding an honest and trustworthy place to take my car. We're definitely going to be repeat customers. Would recommend to anyone needing to get repairs done!

Being a female and possessing limited mechanical repair knowledge, I've struggled with reliable mechanical repairs. The struggle ended when I found Corey at Rash Automotive. He is wonderful. He gives me pricing in advance and to the best of his ability advises me of contingent costs that may arise. He does repairs well, I don't have revisits for the same problem. Working on my vehicle isn't the easiest, I have a very small, German made car. His prices are reasonable and I have recommended him to many friends. I highly recommend his services and business to anyone.

I ended up with a flat tire on the lane right beside them. They all immediately jumped to help me out, and took such good care of me in the process. They resealed the bead in my tire and sent me back on my way, all within 30 minutes! Didn't even break my bank. I'll definitely be coming back in the future! Incredibly satisfied.

I found the receipt at my mothers house. but still never heard back from you. You should give me my money back, Remember selling a car with a broken rusted frame, and not telling me is illegal. Where do you want a picture of this receipt posted? Hated it, sold and inspected a car with a broken frame. My husband john paid way too much for the little white car, it was my 50th birthday present. we paid in cash, was given no receipt. It broke down 3 times, you had it towed 3 times. Whatever tow company you used should've noticed the frame. Luckily there was a horrible hail storm that damaged the windshield and sunroof. The towing company that came to tow it for the state farm claim could barely pull the car on the truck. He took pictures to show me how bad the frame was rusted through. Everyone I spoke to said that selling the car with a broken frame is illegal. Remember now? It's a shame we paid in cash and received no receipt, but I can prove the selling of a car with a broken frame.

I am local to the East suburbs of Pgh, but found myself stuck in Weirton WV and made my way to Rash Automotive. The team there took a look at my vehicle as soon as possible and gave me a very thoughtful and reasonable assessment of the situation. It was so severe that I ended up having it towed the 60+ miles toward my home. After all of that they did not charge me a penny and even provided me with many additional tips. If you live in the area I would highly recommend this shop as honest, reputable men who care about doing the right thing!!

They seemed good at first, quick and much less expensive than their competitors, but that went downhill quick. As I write this review, I am paying to fix one of their mistakes for the second time, only this time I am paying someone else to fix it. The only way I would ever recommend that place to anyone is out of revenge. Got a call from the mechanic working on my brakes as I was writing this review, the calipers were never replaced, I paid rush to replace the calipers. The calipers are still on the car, they never needed replaced.We bought a car from them with a two-year bumper-to-bumper warranty. For the first month that thing spent more time in their shop than on the road. They covered everything so we were mostly OK with that, and then they wanted to start charging us for things they hadn t got around to in that first 30 days. And since then, that bumper-to-bumper warranty doesn t cover any of the things we ve needed done to it. A trailer hitch was supposed to be included and they never put it on, but we don t really need it anymore so we were fine with that.Now for other car, had a couple major repairs done, everything has gone fine with those so far. Breaks are so simple, just about anybody says they can do them... Apparently I waited too long to have them done and also needed the calipers replaced along with the rotors and pads. Fast forward eight months or so, the brakes need done again, so I took it somewhere else. Rash never lubricated the guide pins in the caliper causing one side to wear down, the caliper that was supposedly replaced... In between that I had tires done, one of the studs was cross threaded and snapped off, that ended up costing me another 300. They refuse to acknowledge that they cross threaded the stud, and I can t prove it was them, but there is no other way it could ve become cross threaded. They were willing to do it at cost, but I still had to pay to fix their mistake, which I am doing again as I write this review.Edited to add what I thought was obvious: that the trailer hitch was included with the purchase and that the calipers are still on the other car.

After an initial mix up I followed up with a employee to discuss my discrepancies with their work. He was very well mannered and went out of his way to ensure that everything I paid for was done properly and billed accordingly. Explaining I'm detail what was performed and why. So for his follow up and honestly. It's worth a return visit for me. I'll note that the work was done properly and I only had questions about the billing

My car is a 1999 Dodge Neon and has been sitting in this shop since a month before black friday. I went over to pick it up on black Friday but my car wouldn't turn over. There was gas in it and the battery was fine. The starter n all is fine. So why wouldn't it turn over? The only thing that was needed was a new gas tank and fuel neck. When I called almost a month ago they told me that what was wrong was the fuel regulator. I called again the next day n they told me they weren't sure. It is December 14th now and my car is still not finished. I'm giving rash a 1 star because of their multiple promises they didn't keep as well as complaining about 40 other cars that needed done while mine was in before all of them. Once my car is finished, whenever that'll be, I am NEVER going back to rash automotive.

Honesty/Intergrity.Those Are The 2 Words That Describe My Experience.To The Point...My Car Had An Unusual Noise That I Could Not Identify.The Bottom Line Is After Rash Automotive Identified The Problem I Was Told That The Car Is Not In Need Of Service At This Time.My Takeaway?I Am Not Knowledgeable On Car Engines.Rash Automotive Could Have Made An Unnecessary Repair And Charged Me.They Did Not.Many Probably Would Have Taken Advantage Of My Ignorance.They Did Not.I Respect That.Thankyou.I'll Be Back In The Future.

NEVER GO HERE!!!! I wish I could give ZERO stars. I went to test drive TWO different vehicles. BOTH of them broke down during the test drive. Then he called a few hours later to tell me they were "fixed". And actually thought I would go back and try them again I honestly can't believe how crooked car dealers are and how much they take advantage of people who know nothing about cars other than they need one.

I bought a Volkswagen that was way overpriced & never even made it home & the ignition went out. They didn't even want to send a tow truck. They were rude and the biggest liars. I paid 4500$ it didn't even last 9 months

The good folks at Rash Automotive are a godsend. I know little to nothing about the inner workings of automobiles, and as such whenever something goes wrong with my vehicle I am riddled with anxiety knowing full well that unsavory mechanics would be capable of cleaning out my bank account. Scott at Rash Automobile has continually demonstrated good business practices, fair pricing, and honesty with required work. If you are in need of auto repairs near Weirton, I highly recommend giving Rash your business. Cheers!

Originally had a small issue with a paint job, was called personally by Corey to remedy the issues. Very professional and willing to keep his customers happy. Will do business with them in the future and would recommend to anyone.

I took a vehicle in that had a misfire of sorts. They said it would be around $150 to repair. They later called and were extremely rude over the phone, arguing with me over petty details -- it really seemed like this person was just having a bad day and decided they were going to unload their issues on me. The new estimate was $300 to fix the problem, which was still fine, as long as it got fixed right the first time.I decided to have someone else communicate with them from here on since they previously were totally belligerent. Upon having the car brought home, they charged us $500 plus and the problem still hadn t been fixed. I m still not certain what they had done beyond a new intake, which looked jury-rigged.I don t mean to hinder someone's business, but this was simply unacceptable across the board.
