If I could give 0 stars I would. Ladies, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS HERE unless you have a male escort you. If they think for one second that you are ignorant about cars, THEY MIGHT EXPLOIT THAT AND THEY MIGHT TAKE ADVANTAGE in my opinion. I used to love Monro and I USED TO TRUST them. NEVER AGAIN.I went in for all new exhaust. First of all, it was 50 MINUTES just sitting there before anyone even touched my car. And I was the ONLY CUSTOMER THERE. The "tech" decided to start ripping parts off and claiming they needed replaced, BEFORE the exhaust job was even done. I ONLY had funds for what I was quoted not a penny more so this upset me terribly. Not only that, the censor he pulled off claiming it was "stripped" was less than a damn year old. THEN, this (in my opinion) "fool" had a hard time with a final bolt to remove old cat, so he BROKE IT.HE BROKE MY CAR DUDES... THEN HE CLOCKED OUT AND WENT THE EFF HOME WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE HE BROKE MY DAMN CAR. I brought my car in at NOON that day. This man left at 4pm. So at this point, I had already been waiting 4 long hours. I had to find a ride home and back the next day. They ended up taking a measley $200 off the $1700 bill. Gee, thanks. I wish I could say it ends there. But no, it is now weeks later, and I just discovered that they removed A BUNCH of bolts from under the hood. I asked the last person that worked on my car if there were a bunch of bolts missing the last time he was under there, just a few months ago, and he said absolutely not and that he would have replaced them if he had seen that, so I know it was Monro. So, I was working one day last week and that squealing power steering belt sound kept happening so, I go to check and find that the power steer fluid reservoir is STUCK between some metal piping and the belt and the belt had filed away at the plastic cannister. This cannoster was just flopping around in the engine. This was happening because ALL THREE bolts that hold that bad boy in place were ALL BUSTED THE HELL OFF. Possibly, purposely, in my opinion. The worst part is I told these people that I'm a delivery driver, so they KNEW they were messing with my livelihood. So not only could they have caused me to have an accident on the road, in my opinion, and harmed me by doing this scam artist tom foolery- in my opinion. they could have wrecked my means of making an income, in my opinion, so I'm pretty pissed. It has caused me to lose faith in humanity. TRUST NO ONE LADIES. I will NEVER take my business to Monro in Weirton EVER AGAIN. And I encourage everyone to take there's only to trustworthy places as well. "Business" that's run like a scam doesn't deserve to survive, in my opinion. I was a faithful customer for 5 years. And in that 5 years, every single solitary time I took my car there, it was a different manager and never the same technician. So maybe that should have been a clue. If you have to scam people out of money to keep your business afloat, your not a legitimate business, you are just a scam in my opinion.

I couldn t say enough great things about this shop and their staff ! They were honest about pricing and did NOT price gouge . I showed up 25 minutes late to my appointment because a road was closed on my way there and I had to reroute . They were getting ready to close up for the day and go home . The two gentlemen there were nice enough to stay over and get my car done for me as I was worried about the incoming snow storm. They did and oil change and inspection for me . They both were very friendly and held a conversation. I couldn t say enough good things about them . Monro should be proud of everyone that works there. Every time I called into the shop before this - everyone was extremely friendly and professional. I could go on and on but I just wanted to say thank you two the two men that helped me out last night when they didn t have to ! Thank you !

I stopped in as my oil light came in. Down to 15% oil life. I got right in. There was another customer waiting for an oil change. We both got in at the same time. Done and out in 30 minutes. Will definitely go there in the future.

I wouldn't let this place change My oil!! They broke My abs sensor changing a wheel bearing. That lit up My abs, 4 wheel drive and My Trac off light. I went 3 days in a row while they put 2 different sensors and 2 different wheel bearings in and claimed they did Everything right. They sent me on My way and would not look me in the eye!!! Clearly it was there fault because there were no lights on until they broke sensor. I called District Manager and He sent Me to Mr. Tire in Moon.My car was fixed properly at no cost to Me. These guys are a joke!! Ryan You could learn how to properly manage a business and crew from Emmett Harris the Manager at Mr. Tire!!! Ladies stay away they treat You like Your stupid!!

Hats off to Robert and the crew at Munroe in Weirton. Discovered a flat at the beginning of a 5 hour drive. Called, and Robert was able to get me scheduled, repaired, and in my way within 1-hour, on a Sunday! Kudos. Would highly recommend.

Only stopped for an oil change cause I saw their sign out front said no appointment was needed. Was gonna go to the drive thru Valvoline but the line was too long. They were quick and super friendly and even notified me I needed a new tire and gladly swapped that out for me as well. Very wonderful service and reasonably priced.

Wouldn't recommend buying your tires here unless you want to spend $900 and have them last less than half of what they're supposed to. Their road hazard warranty that they sucker you in to purchase is also useless. Monro doesn't honor their tire warranty, put 25K miles on tires and they're shot. I feel completely taken advantage of. Even the two other workers were in shock of my tire situation and asked where did you get the tires? From this Monro location, over $200 a piece.

After having my Ford Ranger at another service shop and not having a proper diagnosis for my problem, fixing things that probably did not need fixing with the same outcome. Ryan at Monro told me exactly what the problem was and I fixed it on my own with no issues whatsoever. My brake problem was solved. Big shout of gratitude to the Weirton, WV employees. A customer was definitely gained thanks to them.

I called Monroe Muffler 2 weeks ago. I asked about getting my car inspected on January 1st. I was told to come in at 8a.m. I did. No one was there?? I returned home and pulled up their website on my computer. It said holiday hours 9a.m. Why was I told to come in at 8???? I returned to Monroe Muffler at 9 a.m. No one was there. Back home and called the number. A person told me she was putting me on hold. I could hear someone moving around. I yelled HELLO! Someone mumbled Monroe Muffler. I explained about the inspection and was told he just got there and could not do the inspection because no one came to work?? He said he could do it Tuesday at 8 a.m. I returned on Tuesday and they had NO January stickers. I went to Ferguson Tire and got my car inspected.

I've had all of my work done on my Jeep there. The workers before were extremely nice people. I've noticed there are all new people. Today, I needed a battery in my car. Because he quoted me 400.00 for a battery, I asked if I could buy one and have them install it so I would be paying for just the labor. The kid at the front desk said, "yes." I did the same the exact thing with my Jeep. It was no problem before. Now they said they can't do it because I have to get the battery from them. They are liars. Don't go there!!! They just want to rip you off. Shame on Monro for putting a bunch of lazy new people that don't want to work and treat loyal customers poorly. Stay away from Monro Muffler!!!

I was traveling and my battery died on us. Monro couldn t have been more helpful. They took us right in and had us back on the road in less than a half hour.. Great staff and knowledgeable.Thank you Monro .

Went in for state inspection and was told i needed brakes and rotors all around and my inner tie rod was bad......was given and estimate for the brakes and rotors and was told if i had the work done in 5 days they would inspect my car...... went to another place and had my car checked and found out the only thing wrong was my back brakes and rotors..... i would definitely recommend if you go in here take a guy with you cause they will rip a woman off.

Have always had the best experience with Monroe. Ed is excellent with all of his help. Always answers any questions that I have about my car. I had tires put on a few months ago, all the workers are very friendly and hardworking. Being a woman sometimes you want to make sure you aren t getting the run around, and these guys are the real deal! So of course when I needed an inspection for my vehicle I knew where to go. Best place in town!

I wish I could leave a negative star for this place. On October 5th, I literally limped my car I to their lot, my transmission blew. They said they could fix it no problem. I depend on my car for my work as an independent contractor. Well, after the run around for 2 MONTHS, and no one calling me back, I had to actually call the customer service number to even get someone to fix it. I have lost thousands of dollars of jobs I could've done. If you want to sit around waiting for months to get your car fix, go here. I for one will NEVER go back, not even for inspections.Added the following day:Seeing that it was dark out when I got my car, to add insult to injury, they broke my phone holder that I use for work, along with tearing out the blade of my vent. NO apologies, from anyone in the store, basically it's shrugged shoulders and I don't know's.

Weirton Monro's manager, Ryan, is one of the most knowledgeable and kind humans you could ask for. Our vehicles are our lifelines, and no one can afford unnecessary repairs. He seems to have your best interest in mind, and I really appreciated feeling like I can trust what I'm being told.

I was told that this location was running behind and I may not get my car back until the next day (that s okay, I didn t need my car the next day and I completely understand running behind) I was called 2 hours after dropping it off and told it was ready to be picked up. I thanked them for getting it done the same day and appreciated their diligence to get my car done. These guys pushed through whatever they were doing and made sure that my inspection and tires were done in a timely manner. Great service! And they all deserve a raise for such outstanding work!!

I have taken my vehicle here many times for various reasons over the past 3 or so years and have never left feeling anything but happy. They are always kind to me, don t charge astronomical prices, and they get the job done in a timely manner. The one and only time I did have an issue they took care of it right away and with no charge to fix said issue. I am very happy with their services and will be bringing my car back to them again if and when it needs it. Thank you.

I made an appointment for 1pm for an inspection that takes 15-20 min at the most. I showed up they sd they was an hour behind. I saw 2 bays open. They couldn't even take 20 min to do my inspection. It was 30 degrees outside and a blizzard. Also I wasn't allowed to pull my car n for inspection which is weird. Everywhere I've ever been I pull my own car in and I sit in it. I don't trust these people. After reading reviews I wont ever come here again. A small tip go out of the way for your customers sometimes!!!

Fantastic experience. They had my friend's car up within minutes, confirmed that she was safe to travel, and didn't charge for the inspection since nothing urgent was wrong in the end. The person who brought her car out also pointed out things to her that need to get taken care of sooner rather than later.

NEVER GO HERE FOR INSPECTION. I m 22, fresh out of the Marines and haven t started my job yet. I needed a vehicle inspection so I went to Monro. I ve been going here for 2 different vehicles for a few years now, but this time was pretty fishy. I was told I need new rotors and back brakes, which I knew was a lie because I rotated my tires 2 days prior and also checked my brakes. They told me $570 for the back brakes and rotors, but my receipt said $480 when I declined parts. Took it to weirton tire to get another inspection after they put a reject sticker on my car. They said my pads were good for another 6 months and my disks were good for another year. Never go to this place unless you have some cash money because they ll steal every cent they can from you. Completely unprofessional behavior this place should have been shut down years ago, or at least lose their inspection license. Complete waste of an honest business. I will never refer anyone here ever again.Edit: details

Had to get my car worked on, again, this weekend. Ed Beaumont, the new manger, is just so awesome. Prior to him being there, I had to have the same work done, and they did not do it properly. They knew there was still an issue and did not care. Ed made sure, this time, that he, himself, checked everything out and that it was all done the correct way. He is also very nice and great to deal with.

Monroe auto service is very easy to find and the customer service is amazing also fast. I went in today for an inspection. Quick and fast also cheaper than I expected! I have taken my vehicle her 3 times in the last year all for different reasons they are always quick and courteous very great place!!!!

Monro Auto Service in Weirton, WV was exceptional in every aspect of my experience. I had blown a tire the night before and they were quick to get my truck in. They realized the rest of my tires were pretty bald and let me know so they could replace all four tires and keep me safe on the road. I appreciate their attention to detail and professionalism during service.

The manager here lies and tries to rip everyone off. Not only me and my husband, but also the other customer in the lobby. They failed my car inspection 2 weeks ago saying it needed a whole new muffler and would cost $700. Just had 1 piece welded for $60 at Spirit Exhaust in East Liverpool OH. That was the only issue. Then they failed my husband's truck the same day saying the back tire tread was right at the mark for passing but they refused to pass anyway. Was gonna charge $500 for new tires/allignment. He went to Walmart and bought his own then came back to get them put on, cost total tires and service $230. Mechanic had the gall to ask why his tires weren't good enough and my husband responded 2 car payments. They were trying to force us to pay either $700 for my car or $500 for his to pass inspection since you can't drive the car after it fails until it's fixed.
