The whole experience was amazing ! The manager Tim was pleasure to work with! Him and his kids made the whole experience from renting the boat to making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend

Plenty of parking. $5 day use pass. This place was completely empty on a Monday morning and the perfect place to sit in silence, enjoying creation There's a spot for kids to swim. There's no life guard on duty but it is roped off at the shallow end. There's a dock and a marina with a snack bar. More than enough parking is available, too.

We decided to have one last family fun day before summer fades into autumn. We have never been here but it looked like the perfect place to have some fun in the sun. We rented a pontoon with 2 decks and 2 slides and added on a paradise pad. The boat had a bathroom, trash can, life jackets, seating, Bluetooth and the slides had water running down them. We absolutely had the best time here. The lake was beautiful and clean with lots of places to swim, dock to explore and check out the cliffs. We intend on being repeat guests. The staff were very respectful, nice and helpful. You can rent a variety of water toys like kayaks, boats, jet skiing. Highly recommend for all

Great place for a day trip or rent a houseboat and stay overnight. They have many different types of Watercraft Rentals & we chose the Craig Cat. It was fun cruising around on the little 2-Seater checking out the lake!

Love to go and feed the fish. You can get a bag of food for $1. Lots of big fish and today there were some ducks. Very fun.

Fantastic lake, friendly staff, fun activities!Rented a pontoon boat and had such a blast that we came back for another visit. Rented a Craigcraft and took one day just to splash in the water at the beach area.So many options and plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own serenity!

Rented houseboat Miss Mur 7/14/2022 to 7/17/2022. Boat was older, very clean. Site staff were helpful, friendly and extremely apologetic. When staff started the generator, it blew wet oily carbon into the air, and all over the back of the boat-and me-and gear. Mechanic showed up an hour later, and convinced us it was a rare thing, and it should run great when warmed up. Also, we were informed the generator had to be run 24/7, as the 12v charged from it. We cast off 2 hrs delayed and headed to Wolf Creek cove. Where we had a blast swimming & exploring. In the morning, truth sat on the water. Oil slicks as far as we could see. Inflatable toys & life jackets sprinkled with fresh black carbon on top, and bathtub rings of oil on the bottom. And when I watched the coolant water go back in the lake, drops of oil would rise back up. I SHUT IT DOWN. No cell coverage, so we cast off. No Gen, No AC, no cooking. Went to use the upper helm, and the wheel lacked hydraulic oil, and wouldn't turn the boat. Tried to salvage the day, and never got cell coverage. Staff found us at lunch, and we told the the situation & showed our gear. We docked back at the marina, instead of in a quiet cove, and left in the morning. Called the EPA when I got cell service, and reported the discharge. General Manager, denied issues, refused refund, and offered 20% off our next rental.2,000$ for a boat that pollutes, and the staff washed the oily carbon off the boat and into the marina, and sent it to the next rental. The back of the boat was soaking wet when we arrived, so the same was played on us.This is not stewardship. Management knew there was issues, staff admitted the old generators were causing issues! I would rather have rescheduled till boat was in good repair. In the pictures with oily water over rocks, that is from the bow of the boat, the discharge is in the stern-50 feet away or more.

I would avoid this marina at all costs.I went here and was accused of damaging part of the boat and was charged 200.00. I have been coming here for several years, even on the event that there was minor damage (and there wasn t), you would think they would would plenty happy with the repeated business and they have made plenty of money from me; but this was just extreme greed of bullying the small guys because they can. It s very unfortunate that these types of businesses exist.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! My family stayed on the Miss Mur houseboat with the intention of taking the boat out on the lake through our trip.. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. The generator was broken and clearly so old and unmaintained that this should have been realized long before we arrived so we had to stay docked our entire stay. Needless to say we were not happy. I would never recommend anyone staying here for the sheer fact they do not maintenance their watercraft s at all! I am also not convinced that they didn t know it was a nonfunctional watercraft before we arrived. We drove 4 hours to use a pontoon boat and sleep on a houseboat. We could have stayed in Ohio and rented a pontoon and save ourselves the long drive and packing of all the food clothes etc. for 4 adults 2 children and 2 dogs. I will say some of the employees were very nice and wanted to be helpful but shame on this company for leaving their dirty work for their employees to get the blunt end of angry customers because they refuse to properly maintain the watercraft s they own.

Absolutely adored this lake and the friendly folks at the marina. We rented the double decker for the day and had no issues whatsoever. It s a beautiful lake with jaw dropping scenery. The boat was in top shape and the kids enjoyed all the amenities.

The lake is beautiful and we had a great time, however the marina itself had a few things that could be improved in my opinion...We booked a party double decker boat with 2 waterslides and a grill. Only one waterslide worked, but that wasn't too big of a deal. However, it turns out only one of their party boats has a grill, and when booking online there is no way to guarantee you will get the one with the grill. So BEWARE, if you are booking online you should call them and confirm what you're getting. We had to wrap hotdogs in foil and let them bake in the sun because we had planned on having the grill. There was also no anchor on the boat! So every time we stopped to get in the water, even though we were out of wake zones, we continually had to worry about our boat moving into the shore which was woods, rocks, and huge tree logs. Once we almost drifted right into a huge wasps nest. Towards the end of our day we finally found the perfect spot where we didn't have to worry, but if the boat had just had an anchor like I believe it should have, we could have relaxed a lot more. At the end of the day, we came back to warning citations on our windshields for not paying for parking, which we totally forgot to do, but I couldn't understand why they didn't just charge us for that when we checked in. Their internet was also down when we left, so we couldn't pay the final charge which was the gas we used for the day. We waited for around 45 minutes until we miraculously scraped together enough cash to cover it. Technical issues aren't anyone's fault, but I felt they could have given us a discount since their booking site did not clearly indicate to us that we may not get the grill we thought we were paying for. Overall its still worth a visit, but these are just things we shouldn't have had to worry about on our one relaxing family day of the year.

Stunning views! There's a swimming area and boat rentals. Also, there's plenty of picnic areas and a play area for the kiddos.

We rented a houseboat for the weekend. Staff contacted us the week prior to our rental to let us know that the generator was out of commission on our boat (likely repairs related to Dan's review below) and offered either a reschedule or to stay docked and receive complimentary rentals of other items. We chose to stay on the boat at the marina, which was completely ok. Even when the docks were busy, it didn't affect us and even made for some background entertainment watching others come to and from their excursions. We took out a pontoon boat and a few wave runners and had an excellent time. The general manager was polite, and all the staff were helpful. Even though it's a 6-hour trip for us, we would happily visit again.

We found the staff to be endearing and the location to feel like an excursion exclusive to you and your family. We loved our time there. If we took a shot every time someone said "it is so pretty" we would be dead from alcohol poisoning. BTW it is a dry lake so no worries.

My company rented a house boat & jet skis for a company retreat over the weekend. This place is great for a getaway. It was quite and relaxing yet fun and exciting. Their staff was amazing. They provided a shuttle to transport guests to and from the house boat after it left the marina. We had an amazing time!

Our family rented a houseboat this past weekend. We actually arrived Thurs and spent the first night at the dock. There were 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children (10, 12 & 15). The houseboat was large enough that we didn't feel crowded at all. It was fully equipped as advertised. I've handled small motor and sailboats, but handling a large houseboat was a little harder than expected, especially docking and tying up, but after this experience, I feel I'll do a much better job next time. The lake is beautiful, but yes, there was more trash in the lake than should be, but I hold the pigs who dropped their trash, not the marina staff responsible for that. Speaking of the staff, everyone of them was very pleasant and helpful. That includes the young people working around the marina who made it a point to ask us if we needed anything. There are a large number of other watercraft to choose from if a houseboat doesn't suit your needs. Bottom line, it is a very nice, family friendly place to spend a few days.

This is a very nice place to visit. There's camping available...boat docks and rentals, a quaint little restaurant on the docks and free shower and restrooms. There is also a small playground on the hill above the swimming area. The views are fantastic from the beach area. The grounds are well kept and clean. I would recommend to others looking for a place to swim, fish, boat or camp. I would also recommend others with children to stop by the restaurant and buy some fish feed (they sell it in small bags for .50 or $1). Out on the docks there is an area where you can feed really large carp. My children have always found that to be enjoyable and memorable.

Thank you to all the staff at Sutton Lake Marina. They were very friendly and professional. My sister and her family were visiting from out of state and had a wonderful experience. We even met the owner Ron. Can't wait to do it again!

Bass tournament has taken over the ramp for 2 hours this time as they leave the water. The parking lot looks like an old time drive in. Fancy trucks and fancier bass boats going around the loop like old time hot rods at the drive in. It's not even peak season. Can't wait!!!!

Peaceful. Lots to do. The marina was fantastic. Go to their FB page, they have several rental options and I also saw a sign for a music and food night happening Sept 12. If we didn't live so far away, we would definitely go.
