I took my car in twice now because I had a sensor light going off. First time they told me it would be 145 to look at it. Okay great I get that so instead I took it back to where I bought it and they figured out what was wrong with it and said I had to go back to Hyundai. They were very rude and did not want to help at all. They basically told us that it s waste scheduling an appointment online because it s not accurate so they wouldn t even be able to look at my car. Second of all walker Cheverolet in nitro was so much kinder at there service center then I experienced at Hyundai. I was told that Hyundai could call walker Chevy if my warranty company would not fix the car and they bluntly told me well we have to have that in writing. This makes me not want to ever wanna go back to this place to get my car serviced ever. I use to like them and never write bad reviews but never again.

Buyer beware. My MIL only went in to have her SUV inspected. It only has about 25k miles on it. They told her she needed the brake rotors turned, which unfortunately she agreed to. I m highly suspicious that a vehicle with only 25k miles needed the brake rotors turned. I also drive this vehicle every week, and it doesn t have any brake problems. The bill was almost $500. She does not have this kind of money, and it will take her a very long time to pay it off. I feel like they very much took advantage of her, and I m very unhappy about the situation. If you have elderly people in your life that are easily taken advantage of, be careful about letting them go here.Services: Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection

If I could rate zero stars I would. I can t tell you how many times after a so-called 50 (or however many they say) point inspection my car was returned to me with the check engine light still on. You also have to watch them like a hawk to ensure they actually do ALL of the service you are told you are getting. I ve heard other customers ask if a particular service was done only to hear no it wasn t. There is little feedback & good luck getting through to someone that actually knows what is going on with your car. I just had to take my car to another service center because the wheel wobble issue they supposedly fixed is reoccurring after just a few hundred miles. Stay away from this place if at all possible.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

I was in there yesterday in the waiting room and I could hear someone on the speaker phone giving their credit/debit card number out the whole number, expiration date, code on the back and zip code. I heard it all, no one should be put on speaker phone to give that to service department!

It s never good with Joe Holland. They ll charge you hundreds just to tell you what s wrong with it, and then the service they provide is going to be low-quality. Best part of Joe Holland is the friendly shuttle driver. So glad I was able to trade my Chevy in for a Jeep so I won t have to be back for service. Drive to St. Albans, Chelyan, or Hurricane for Chevrolet service instead.

Went for a replacement key that was missing when I bought my truck. Service took over twice as long as planned (over two hours). Things happen, whatever. My truck was returned with grease on my door. Showed the service tech, who showed his boss, and told me to stop by the detail shop and use the detail that was scheduled after the key service. Accidents happen, whatever.I go to get the detail service and it was not even scheduled.

I get my oil changed and tires rotated every time at this location. Hyundai has a new service location and it is really nice! The people are always friendly and my favorite person to talk to is Shirley!

We ve used the service department before and had no issues, but today we had an appointment at 10am and were told it was going to take about an hour and a half plus the time for an oil change. They told us we could come back another day?? With 5 different service members nonchalantly walking around and they even recommended us to take my car, which I bought from Joe Holland and always have used Joe Holland service department, somewhere else. Went to the Joe Holland Quick Lube and they were done in 10 minutes guys in Joe Holland service department need an attitude check and someone to wipe the smirks off their faces when they re the ones turning away a simple service.Service: Oil change

Best service in our area hands down. Service reps are knowledgeable respectful and understanding. These guys actually know what is going on and usually how long it will take. Prices are competitive but on the low end. I would give them 4.75 stars simply because my aftermarket ambient lighting was gutted when they replaced my seat motor, but I also understand that the receiver box was in the mechanics way.

On April 26, 2023, I took my 2013 Chevy Cruze to Joe Holland Service due to a transmission leak. Service rep was very polite, friendly and professional. They told me the transmission leak was the axle seal/bushing that goes into the transmission. I was also told that this could not be fixed and that I would need a new transmission. The estimated cost of repair was $5,200.Lucky for me, my brother who is located in Martinsburg WV is an ASE certified mechanic and owns his own garage, infonned me that it could be fixed without replacing the transmission. Friends recommended a transmission shop in Spencer WV. I picked up my car from the transmission shop. He replaced the axle seal/bushing, put 1 qt of transmission fluid in the vehicle and charged me $170.66. That is a huge difference from the price I was quoted at Joe Holland Chevrolet to repair my car.Today my car runs great and has no leaks!I sent all the above in a letter to the service manager. Here is the response I received...Thank you for bringing this to my attention. After researching the output shaft bushing, I found that it is not serviceable through GM parts, and there is no repair procedure for the bushing in our repair manuals. I spoke with the GM world-class technician who inspected your vehicle, and he was unaware of any aftermarket bushing available. While we strive to follow GM repair procedures as a dealership, I will look into aftermarket repair options.I am glad to hear that you where able to get your vehicle repaired at a lower cost.Service: Transmission

Wish I could give this place a zero. Brought my car here for the same problem 3x. Have not been able to identify why the gas gauge is not working. My car is brand new and has 16000 miles on it. Checking a sensor and wiring should be easy. I was told to come at 7 to drop off my car for the earliest appointment. The customer service rep told me I could come in around 6:45 and drop the car off early so I could get to work. It s pouring rain, and the 800 year old woman at the desk won t unlock the door because it isn t time. Honestly I m disgusted at the service this place provides and how they treat their customers. If my car wasn t still under warranty I wouldn t ever come back to this service station.

I was traveling with my children from VA back home to OH. My sonata was leaking oil and I stopped in another town to try to have someone look at my car. They were booked and couldn't fit me in until the next week. I was in a panic. I called and talked to Shirly and she was so kind. She asked the manager if they could fit me in to see my car and she told me that they could. I was so relieved. She also said if there's anything that happens on the hour drive to call. We made it and Josh was who helped us. He told me what I needed to hear regarding if I could make it home safely with my kids. I needed the reassurance and I was able to breath a lot better.Thank you to everyone who helped me in a bad spot, your kindness is forever appreciated!!!Service: Engine repair

I will never be using Joe Holland ever again.I have a used '04 Impala. A little while ago the brake fluid alert came on. I had to get an oil change and inspection sticker anyway so I made an appointment, suggested the brake lines might be leaking (since the alert came on) and dropped my car off for its 7am appointment.Later THE NEXT DAY, after calling multiple times wondering what was going on with my car I finally got a call back from them. Apparently they wont pass my inspection without fixing the brake lines, a new tire, new brake pads, new sway bar, new headlights, and new windshield wipers quoting me for $4,090, way more than what the car is even worth. I said, no way ill just sell it for parts. They changed the oil, put a rejected sticker on it, and charged me $198 for them to tell me what was wrong with it.Luckily my Father in Law is really good with cars and wanted to take a look at it. Upon his inspection, there was NO BRAKE LINE LEAKAGE, the sway bar was like BRAND NEW, my tires just needed pumped up, and a quick tightening of the windshield wipers and they were working fine. After a few minutes we took it somewhere else and they out a sticker on it no problem. My brake fluid light was just malfunctioning.I don't even think Joe Holland even looked at my car. Either way, they lied to me about the repairs it needed. I will NEVER be going there ever again. I will NEVER be buying from them ever in the future. I hope you heed my warning and take your business elsewhere.Services: Tires, Brakes, Oil change

The staff is very friendly, but the service is terribly slow. Make an appointment, be FIRST in line, and it still takes 4-5 hours AT LEAST for general service, such as an oil change and recommended services at a certain mileage point (i.e. inspect hoses). This just does not make sense to me. Additionally, they messed up my alignment the first time veering it too far to the left. Brought it to their attention immediately and at my second visit now it s too far to the right. This concerns me that an alignment cannot be performed accurately by professionals. I can tell the difference and I m completely incompetent in the mechanic world. Lol.So now, I ll print out the recommended service for each mileage point and search for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic due to the long wait times for general services and errors in minor service such as an alignment.*****NOT TO MENTION - They let someone drive off in my car before. Lol. But it was returned immediately as the other man s car was identical to mine. I didn t get upset but it very well could have ended differently! However, the price is not too bad and you can receive coupons in the mail - but are you really willing to wait that long? Are you willing to let someone work on your car who may not be skilled enough to accurately do an alignment? What if you need a water pump next? Food for thought ...Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

My experience might be good if anyone would ever call me back after leaving 3 messages. This is my first new car in years and I bet I don't buy one from Joe Holland again. Nice to have that great warranty but if you can't use it I guess it's not so great.

I had a pre-purchase inspection done and they managed to miss both of the things I had found and talked the other people a b.s. repair. And they didn't bother to put a new sticker of it...at least they put new wiper blades on it.

I have a 16 model GMC sierra, are use the truck for work every day lawn care business snow Removal etc. under warranty truck had the condenser replaced and the compressor for the AC. At first they tried to not cover it under warranty with a price of $1900,After contacting another local dealer they covered it under warranty. No attention to detail or they didn t care but they left my wires for the snow plow hook up, with no zip ties and not in the proper place on the top of the radiator shroud out of the way. Instead they let them hang and rub on my alternator pulley damaging for wires and severing one. Luckily it wasn t the one that was hot all the time with voltage. They need to pay attention to detail and use some common sense, I ve worked flat rate for years and I know how it is to get it and get it out for the time and go onto the next one.But I could ve caught fire, while I was driving and I could ve had to replace expensive motors to the hydraulics and the switches. Luckily I caught the in fraction and I won t go back and I won t send anyone I know there.Services: Electrical, A/C installation & repair

Place to go if you want to waste your day. We had a recall on our Malibu. Called earlier in the week and made an appointment. We were told "we'll check it out - should take an hour or so, if they don't have the part then they order them and have you come back". Arrived at 7:30 am for our appointment, they pulled up the info and said it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I asked about them stating they will check it out, at which their response was "we usually have these parts in stock". I decided to wait since it would be completed. After 3 hours, they came out stating the tech recommended this and that....Asked about the recall and was told, "The part was just delivered and the tech is starting on it now". As I write this, it has now been over 3 1/2 hours and I am still waiting. They were friendly and nice, just lack the proper communication skills to inform their customers of exactly what is happening.

I would give this no stars but that isn't an option. The worst service ever. My fianc sat down there from 10:40-2:30 for a simple oil change. He had an appointment at 10:40 and was on time and they said it would take an hour to an hour and a half. About noon he walked up to ask how much longer it would take and they completely forgot about his truck and didn't even have it pulled into the garage it was still sitting outside. He also has a vibration on his truck and asked if they would take a look at that. About one oclock he asked if they had looked at the vibration and they said all they did was rotate the tires and balance them and hope it fixes it. Didn't drive it to check or anything. So now have to make another appointment to get the vibration fixed because they didn't do their job the first time and it is still under warranty. We bought his truck in April and it is a 2019 and already having problems. I wouldn't recommend this service or a Chevy in general.

We took our car to have the water pump and cooling fan replaced. It took several tries to get them to find out what all was covered under our extended warranty no one would ever call back! Once we found out we took the car to them at 9:00 am and didn't get the car back until 6:00 pm! They called me at 6:00 after they had already closed and wanted to know if we was coming after the car! Never got a call to let us know it would be done even when I called at 4:00 to see and was told he would check and call me back! They however was really fast to call back to tell me they recommend wipers and belt and filters that wasn't covered under they warranty! So they left the keys in the car with the invoice at the entrance for is to pick it up!!! We did agree to that so we would be able to have our car back thankfully we were close by to get it quick and nothing happened!!! Once we got the car back we noticed things from the glove box in the floor and the glove box had be gone thru!!!! Why they needed in the glove box we don't know! And the car had 8 miles put on it also! The paperwork said the milage was the same as when we dropped it off! It had a eighth of a tank of gas and when we got it it was on empty! They left greasy finger prints all on the hood of the car too!!! The glove box thing is the worst though because it was like someone breaking in your house and going through your stuff!!! We felt violated! I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle here for any reason! They are fast to sell things but slow to repair anything and they also go threw your stuff and joyride your cars!

My experience with Joe Holland garage was excellent!! Very friendly staff, professional mechanics, waiting area was nice with bathrooms and a coffee station, they had a cell phone charging station for all phone types. I didn't have a long wait for a oil change I reccomend making a appointment because they stay very busy! I will definitely go back to the one in South Charleston! They were all great at what they do

This is by FAR the worse car repair shop ever. Never go here. They are so uncomprehendingly unreliable. My car was parked on the side of the straight and someone hit it in a hit and run, damaging the fender bumper axel and popping the tire. We took it and they said it would be 2 weeks MAX. We called for an update a few days before and they told us that it would still be ready on time because they just got the parts. Then we go and they tell us they haven t even gotten the parts, this was a Friday. They said for sure it would be ready that Monday. Monday came, still no parts. They said the next Friday. That Friday came and they told us there were other cars ahead so they hadn t gotten to us yet, they said we would be next in line and to wait until the next Monday again. That comes, still not out turn. They tell us that Wednesday, of course that comes, not ready. They tell us AGAIN that Friday it s be ready. Not ready. Again, that Monday, still not ready. Basically it s been OVER 4 weeks now and we go to pick it up and they only replaced bumper, not fender, and put a used tire on it. And they said that s all they were supposed to do, which is simply not true. The owner is allegedly out of town and won t take calls and they said that we d have to wait until this upcoming Friday (it s currently Monday) (resulting in 5 weeks by this Friday) to talk to him about it, because they won t do anything without his approval. So now we just can t do anything and what turn from 2 weeks MAX is now 5+ weeks and counting.

Had factory paint refinished, pain looks good but inside door panel has overspray all over it, being black door trim and speaker covering the white overstay looks rather bad
