I was unable to even consider doing business with Dutch Miller. They will pull every trick in the book to get you to pay thousands more than you should.First question they asked me: What do you want your monthly payment to be?This is a red flag. You should walk immediately upon hearing this phrase. What you want to do is negotiate the 'Out The Door Price' of the vehicle. This is the price you'd write on to a check to walk out the door. Before I had even discussed what vehicle I wanted to buy, I was asked if I wanted to trade in a vehicle. This is another red flag. Why are you asking about my trade-in before we have even determined if I want to even purchase a car. This is another red flag. Typically the dealer will begin running the numbers on your trade to manipulate the OTD price when you do decide to negotiate on a car. This allows the dealer to fudge the numbers in their favor. The next red flag was when they told me I could hold or reserve a vehicle for a non-refundable fee. Inventories are high right now and stock is piling up. You should refuse to pay a non-refundable fee for any vehicle in today's market (or any market for that matter).Eventually, we did get to the point of discussing numbers. Before discussing numbers, they wanted to run a credit application. This is yet another red flag. I said that I wanted to negotiate the OTD price before discussing financing. I was told that financing was part of determining the OTD price of the vehicle. This is flat out not true.I pushed back and eventually they agreed to give me an Out the Door price with an itemized list of fees. Needless to say, it was MSRP along with a few questionable fees.At this point, I knew working with Dutch Miller would require several hours of investment of my time. It would have devolved to a war of attrition to get close to a fair price for the vehicle.I was very disappointed with the sales person's immediate attempts to take control of the deal through predatory questions, practices, and sales techniques which are designed to take advantage of an ill-informed consumer.TL;DR: DutchMiller deploys under-handed and shady business practices to over charge you for a vehicle. You should not do business with them.

Look at recent reviews. KIA telluride. Fan belt breaks, coolant leaks and now a pressure cracked windscreen they are trying to deny. See internet. Dealership is doing everything they can to deny the liability and still we have coolant leaks. Costing me thousands of dollars despite paying for extra warranties. I ve had a Subaru for 9 years with less issues than this car in 1.5 years - and Subaru honored their warranties. No more Kias.

This place was a rip off. They are great to you and promise you the world until they get what they want and then treat you like trash. They charge you 5,000 dollars for an extended warranty and tell you you get everything. Well, you get 2 oil changes a year that is it for 5,000 dollars. Also, when my brand new car that I bought from them messed up they tried to charge me 200 dollars just to look at it and then charge for whatever was wrong. Platinum warranty!!! What a joke! Don't buy from these con artist and never pay for an extended warranty it is wasting your money! Kia is a good vehicle so far, but buy it from someone else or order it from Kia yourself. Don't waste your money on these rip off's.

In June they Charged me for a diagnostic and fixed a minor issue. In July my engine blew. They had my car for 3 months for a engine replacement. I had to call several times to get an update which it felt when I called I was bothering them. After finally getting my car back, I was told I needed to replace another part that wasn't discovered prior to my engine failure visit. I discovered the next day that my brand new engine they replaced had little to no oil in it. Also my back window tent was ruined from sitting out in there parking lot for so long. That will be my last visit.

After selling me this dud in the middle of the with 4 dry rotted tires they repeatedly ran me down there several times saying it was spark plugs and it blew up my turbo up and then it kept blowing spark plugs and then it caused my engine and catalytic converter to both blow up and conveniently it was just over the mileage for Kia to cover the repair because of all the miles I put on it running from Glenville to Charleston. I eventually went to Kia in Clarksburg and they figured out immediately what was wrong and what caused it. If I had dealt with that Kia branch to begin with.

This dealership is maybe too big for the small town kind of people my husband and I are. We thought when someone was kind to you that it was genuine. That what they said was truth. We were lied to about several things pertaining to our purchase of our KIA. We love our car we do, however, the service department at this dealership is not up to par with how they made it sound. When we were all in and in too deep to get out of it we were told that the extended warranty was not what it was said to be when they sold it to us. They also treated us unfairly when we went in for an oil change and I feel it was because of the person in the service dept and him not liking us because of the bible on our dashboard. We were treated quite badly each time we had to go back. We were of course treated great when we were there purchasing the vehicle though.

This dealership always has a clean waiting area, takes care of the service I requested and notifies me of any recalls. Very happy with the service department. Staff is always friendly and professional, and walks me to my car at the end of the appointment. They review the work performed and ask if I have any questions.

Lies and bad service. I'm not one to complain or do reviews but was very displeased and feel sorry for people that rely on a service dept to repair their vehicle. Too many negative to go into it all. The photos will tell some of the issues. My word of advice is, go over your vehicle before you leave the lot...

Dutch miller kia service dept. In South Charleston is horrible. I bought a 2023 forte gt line and it has 9000 miles on it and had to have it towed to dealership because all the electronics went haywire and car eventually just quit running . They tell me they won't give me rental till diagnosis says it is warranty work but there 17 people in front of me. I spoken to attorney General and they agree that they should give me a loaner right away and advised to call lawyer.I don't see how Chris is going to be a good governor if he can't even take care of his customers properly

We took kia in for a recall, received the vehicle back with a vacuum hose unplugged which gave us check engine light, they didn't screw down coolant cap tight so it sprayed coolant everywhere in the engine bay and made a big mess with oil in the engine bay. We received kia with more problems then we originally had.

I took my mom's 2014 Kia Sorento to Dutch Miller Kia in Charleston on April 24 for an oil change. About 30 minutes into the appointment, my service adviser Dennis came into the waiting room to talk to me. Dennis informed me that all four brakes on the car were "basically gone, down to the metal." Dennis said that the brakes were so bad that the car was unsafe to drive, and told me that I would have to sign a waiver of liability if I even wanted to leave without getting them replaced that day and quoted me over $400 to change the brakes on all four tires. My brother happens to be a certified Kia mechanic and I was not about to pay over $400 to have the brakes changed when I knew that he could do it for just the cost of the parts. Two days later my mom took the car to him to have the brakes replaced only to discover that all four brakes were perfectly fine. By his estimate, they had about 10,000- 15,000 miles left before they needed replaced and were by no means "dangerous." He could also tell that the mechanic (whose name I do not know) hadn't even pulled the tires off of the vehicle to inspect the brakes. My brother sent me pictures of the brakes, and even my untrained eye can see that there is nothing wrong with them. (Pictures attached)Obviously, this was very troubling to me, as I've had bad experiences with dealerships in the past who have tried to take advantage of me- I'm assuming because I'm a woman and they think I'm an easy target. On April 29 my mother and I both called Kia to complain about this and spoke to Paula. Paula ensured me that she was going to talk to both Dennis and the technician to determine what happened in this situation, and that she would let me know as soon as she found out what happened. I have yet to hear anything from her or anyone at Dutch Miller regarding this situation, and it's obvious that Dutch Miller Kia is not concerned that either their mechanic or their service adviser intentionally lied to a customer in an attempt to have unnecessary and costly work done. I'll also note that the final paperwork I received from the dealership doesn't say anything about needing brakes replaced, and Dennis conveniently forgot to have me sign the waiver of liability. The multi-point inspection that they complete during every service call has the brakes marked as "may need future attention," which is a far cry from "unsafe to drive" or "down to the metal" as I was told by my service adviser.Customers, BEWARE. If you go into this dealership to have work done to your car, and they inform you that additional work needs to be done immediately make them SHOW YOU the problem. Better yet, take your car somewhere else for service.UPDATE: As of May 22, 2019 I still have NOT been contacted by anyone at Dutch Miller Kia, despite being told on this Google Review as well as my Facebook review that a manager would be contacting me. Again, I caution you against using this dealership as they clearly engage in deceptive practices and have made no attempt to resolve customer complaints.

I had a terrible experience at Dutch Miller Kia. I have credit issues and was told by their internet sales department to come on in and they would get me in a vehicle. I believed that they had already run the credit as I had completed the paperwork the previous evening. I got there and met with Ryan, who was very nice and he showed me a vehicle and we took a test drive. I wasn't really given a choice of vehicles. Then we return and he tells me we have to run the credit, much to my surprise. Needless to say I did not leave with a vehicle and my entire day was wasted all because of an over zealous internet sales rep. Procedures definitely need to be examined and amended to avoid situations such as these and that don't result in time wasted. I didn't mention previously, that we got pulled over by the police on our test drive due to the salesman forgetting to put a tag on the vehicle! Thanks to Dutch Miller and their upper management for their lack of response and their total avoidance of this entire review. This is why I will never return to this dealership.

Previously I left a 5 star review as I have purchased two vehicles here (2020 & March 2023) but my mind has since changed. The only thing good about this place is the salesman Ryan Graley, period he is great! The finance department, I can t even put it into words. It s currently end of June & im still waiting on money owed to me from this establishment & this department doesn t know which way is up & which is down. Makes me feel very uneasy that these people have my information & can t handle simple tasks such as writing checks & mailing them. I would explain the whole debacle on here but frankly, it s unbelievable how honestly careless they have been & im tired of repeating it.

Travis was AMAZING to work with. I was going through a hard time personally and he made sure to get me the best vehicle I could buy. He was honest and even texted me later to follow up to see how I was doing with the vehicle. If you go, DEF ask for TRAVIS!!!!

I have been a firm supporter of Dutch for a few years now. I have bought two new SUVs, and received great customer service. I also like to support the service side of Dutch and bring my SUV in for normal maintenance. Lately I have not had good experiences with the customer service team. Starting off, every time I call to schedule an appointment I don t get an answer, when I leave a VM I don t get a call back. I spend all day trying to reach someone. The website offers scheduling appointments online, but when you try to schedule the appointment it doesn t allow you to select a date, and tells me that time is unavailable. I also used the websites text service, inquiring about an appointment, and was told to call a number. I explained that the number was not working, and I also wasn t able to use the online site to schedule, and asked for more help. I was then ignored. At my last oil change the mechanic over tighten my oil plug, and stripped it. They completed a temp fix, until my new oil pan came in. I waited over a month to have the oil pan replaced. I had to miss a full day of work to drive an hour and a half to have the pan replaced. I was offered a very small discount, for such a large inconvenience..The sells team is great, and always nice to us when we are waiting for our service to be completed, but the service team has went down hill within the last few years.

Planned to fix Hyundai and hand down to son and buy a new one so I called Dutch Miller in Huntington for repair appt. They ran the VIN # and assured me it was covered by recall and scheduled appt. Dropped wife off at work, showed up on time and was told it wasn t covered by recall and they would charge me diagnostic fee and repair fee. Totally unacceptable service and treatment of customer. No way to handle people so I left with no repair :(.

We bought our Kia Soul here and the entire experience was so easy. Allen was so friendly and sociable. It wasn t like dealing with any other car dealership at all. He greeted us with a smile, was very helpful, and well exceeded the expectations of any car salesman I have been around or heard of. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the Soul we wanted, showing us multiple options of colors and trims. It felt like we were car shopping from a friend rather than buying from a car salesman. Once we got to the financial department, Jake kept the greatness going. It felt like we were talking with an old friend rather than financing a car. The whole experience went far beyond what I had expected. Thank you guys for going above and beyond for your jobs, we really appreciate that we made 2 new friends yesterday! We definitely will buy from here again if we ever need another car. We will be seeing you guys soon with the multiple after sales care Dutch Miller offers!

The Staff at Dutch Miller Kia Charleston is AMAZING! They go above and beyond. They are super friendly. I won't buy cars anywhere else! We bought ours from Allen and he was phenomenal! I can't say enough. He kept us updated on when our car would be in right down to the hour. We had such an amazing experience at this location! Can't say the same thing about the Barboursville location though. So if you have a choice choose Charleston Dutch Miller Kia!!!

Kia dealer ship only was the friendliest and best group of people I worked with. I could not recommend the Jeep dealer or service. But both Kia sales and service have been greatly helpful and friendly.

I went to Dutch Miller Kia looking for a used car that would be affordable but also dependable. From the second I walked in, I was greeted by their wonderful staff. I worked with Jacob Fisher, who not only helped me find the perfect car but also kept me up-to-date on new cars that were coming in to make sure that I got exactly what I needed. He went 150% above what he needed to to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted and stayed within my budget. I would recommend 10/10 to anyone looking for a dependable used car.
