I bought a jeep there. I've had the jeep and been paying on the jeep for 2 years. 2nd day my check engine light came on. Brought the jeep back numerous times. 1st they said buy a new gas cap. I did. That didn't work. Took the jeep back and paid $177.00 to fix the jeep/ check engine light. Next day it's back on. Took it back again. Next day check engine back on. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. It's still on...... also. The transmission went out the 2nd week i had the jeep. It was covered under warranty but i only get 1 day a week off n i dont want to spend it at the mechanic shop. The heat an ac stopped working. They fixed it under warranty. It broke again the next summer. So no heat or air. They refuse to give me a loaner car. Or rent me a loaner car. N they won't return my calls or texts. This place I do not not not recommended. Plus. I'm paying 30k for a 2010 jeep that's worth 3k. N with all the problems it has probably $1500.00 if that. N I still have 2 more years to pay on it. I've asked to speak to management n asked who r the owners. Nobody will help u. They give you the run aroundThen the men in the mechanic shop r rude N I mean really rude...... N act like I'm the one who's crazy.......... I just want a vehicle that doesn't break down every single day. The biggest problem is the mechanics do not. N I MEAN DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX ANYTHING. I HAVE HAD THIS JEEP OVER 2 YEARS. IN THE 1ST YEAR I TOOK THE JEEP BACK 2X A MONTH. THE SAME PROBLEMS WHEN U PICK THE VEHICLE UP. THEY RIGG IT UP SO IT RUNS A DAY OR TWO. I MEAN THIS IS A JOKE. THEY WONT EVEN TEXT OR CALL ME BACK. I'm a female and the man in the shop is really mean and intimidating towards me. I don't want to just stop by. I always get insulted and nothing is ever fixed. I believe I have a right to be upset. FIX THIS RAGGEDY JEEP OR TRADE IT IN FOR SOMETHING THAT WORKS......

I really want to give Michelle a big shout out at the South Charleston location she knew I had experience a bad bad day due to the flooding and she went above and beyond to make sure me and my husband had transportation and just give me the red carpet treatment. Thank you guys you re amazing. I have been a customer since 2007 never missed payment and I will always deal with y all for reasons like this.

I am please with service that I get from Byrider. This time around to keep my SUV for over 4 days because they busy with other vehicles and I did not mind, because I was in a hurry I getting back.I had talk to shop manger and he let talk to mechanic that would be working my SUV, I explain what it was doing, he checked over nothing was wrong with it.

Zach was absolutely amazing getting me and my fianc� into a car. But after a year of having it, it started leaking from the transmission. (No fault to any of the sales reps who work for Byrider) They had it a week, got it back, started leaking again. While jerking anytime we drove it. So we took it back for the second time. Rick is useless when it comes to checking on your vehicle. He will lie straight to your face, saying the parts never came in, when they did. They had already put another transmission in it that was junk. So 3 transmissions later and it was no longer a problem. The new problem was, they fixed or replaced the control arm. We got our car back a few days ago, it was cracking and popping crazy. And when you moved forward and came to a complete stop, the tired basically continued to roll but looked like it was about to come off. This is the 3rd time we ve had to take it back. Please do not buy a car from here!!

The workers here are kind and efficient. The customer service is great in sales and in service. People need to understand, these are used cars, many with LOTS of miles. They are not new vehicles and stuff is GOING to go wrong with them---it takes people time to repair....and there are sometimes people in front of you who get the service first. We live in a society where everyone thinks their problems are more important than everybody elses and they will complain and raise ruckus about it.The problem isn't everybody else--or JDByrider...its US...ME and YOU.These folks work hard and I appreciate them. You want a new car with no problems? GO BUY ONE.(getting off my soapbox now)

Trans went out on my jeep. It took a few tries to get a new one installed and I was out of a reliable car during the process. I could not afford a rental but the guys in service went out of their way to put me in a rental no charge until my jeep was fixed. Thank you all the guys in byrider service!

UPDATE :: issue has was causing a SAFTY feature for my kids , wife and I is now fixed turns out it was a wire that had a short which over a year ago I mentioned it and since mechanics don t listen to other mechanics it never was checked and also now that the wire is now fixed that is times that the car won t start right after driving it and it happens randomly and you have to let it sit for about 5mins than it will start and also the ETC LIGHT FLASHES ALONG WITH THE service AWD so, yeah if you are able to avoid getting a car from this company then do so cause it s more problems than answersWhat ever you do I HIGHLY and I mean HIGHLY don t not recommend going to JD BYryder..Don t fall for that bad credit , your approved thing cause the car no matter how nice it looks you will be paying triple the price for it and plus there will be something wrong with the engine or transmission.We have had our car for little over a year now and and it has been in the shop 4 different times for the same issue THE TRANSMISSION not shifting out of 1st gear and when it does shift it will randomly shift its self back down while your drivingThis has been a safety issue for my kids , my wife , and my self for being in the car and it doing thisIt has left my wife on the side of the interstate 3 times for the same issue . My self have almost been hit by oncoming traffic at lease 15 times cause it won t shift.We don t miss payments and never been late on a payment and all we wanted was a car that we could depend on to safety get ourself and family to the places we have to go toWe have tried to have them put us in a different vehicle and they won t do that.. Hell we can t a rental while it s being worked on which is apart of the agreement cause they have to loan their rentals out so much cause other people vehicles are always getting things FIXED In 1 year time the vehicle that we have has had over 4 thousand dollars with of work and parts done to it..Just want a vehicle that I can get in,start, and drive safelyI don t care about the price of the vehicle or the amount of what the payments are that s irrelevant THE PART THAT I CARE ABOUT IS MY FAMILYS SAFTY and also being able to get to work and home to make the payments..I mean after you put a so called new transmission in it and it fails so you put another one in it , the next time it s the flywheel that causing the same issue and after the gets replaced now it s the ABS CONTROL MODULE and that gets replace and now drive it off the lot after being there from 8am to 5pm while they worked on and start to drive immediately just to see that ITS STILL NOT SHIFTING..when do you take the hint that the car isn t safe and someone can easily get killed for a vehicle that is acting in such a wayDoes a phone call toTHE FEDERAL SAFTY ADMINISTRATION need to be made along with a 2nd phone call to the ATTORNEY GENERAL for the consumer protection lawLike I stated above all we want is a vehicle that is safe and drive the way it was made to

Don't do it. I wouldn't recommend anyone doing it. You still need to make a down-payment, instead of throwing that down-payment away to JD Byrider, take that money and buy something at a used car lot. You can find a car the same year range and milage you'd find at JD Byrider except $20k less. Then you'll save a ton of money and not be stuck in an impossible loan to get out of (except by paying it all off) paying the same price as a new 2023 off the lot for a 10 year old 100k pre-owned vehicle with underlying issues.

John was our sales agent. He was very attentive to anything that was needed or asked. If something was not understood he throughly explained everything until it was! He was very polite! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THIS PALACE ! They will hit you for a outstanding bill for a vehicle with problems. Said they fixed the problem but never fixed the issue. Then charged way too much to fix it and never did . Still, after a month, still not fixed SAME ISSUE US HAPPENING, never a rental available, and when then, you're paying more money for the problem that was never fixed to begin with. I was considering going here to trade in my vehicle, not now! Unless, for some reason, they fix their issues.Tell me why a person has to pay for the same job over and over again??? And now they are left vehicleless again????? Wth guys????? All these wonderful reviews and you do this family dirty like this??? Uncalled for!!! I will be contacting the BBB on thier behalf since you have them under so much stress...

I couldnt get approved anywhere and JD Byrider was a God sent. Salesman John Legg and the Sales Manager Mike were so helpful and did everything possible and I got approved now I'm the proud owner of a 2013 Kia Optima. Thanks again byrider fam, forever appreciated
