CDL Assist was great. The staff are friendly, courteous and kind. Instructors are skilled and knowledgeable. My instructor Zach did a wonderful job presenting all the knowledge and skills needed to help me pass my Class A and even put the extra hours in. Thank you CDL Assist

Cdl assist was absolutely incredible. My instructor was Ron and he normally doesn't teach a class because he's a manager there. Ron was very patient and when I was struggling he was able to help get me through the area I struggled in and made everything super easy to remember. This is seriously the place to go. It's fast pace and you must be willing to take in every word they tell you. Be ready to learn and you will succeed.

The Ladies at the desk were helpful, and made the process simple. Our instructor John was excellent. He went above and beyond to prepare us for the test. Their system sets you up for success, and they absolutely will not quit until you re prepared to take the exam. The building, classrooms, bathrooms, shop, and trucks were spotless. I highly recommend this business. I came in with some nerves about taking the test, but after 4 days with these guys there was no doubt. I passed my test without any issues. These guys make the process super easy. My instructor, John, was very knowledgable, and knew how to teach us in a way that would give us the confidence to pass. Thank you, Shelly and Fred, for running this amazing business!

Wanting your CDL? This is the place! Scheduling was painless, office staff was polite and helpful,equipment was clean and well maintained. We where fortunate enough to have Mr Larry as our instructor. His method was easy to remember,direct and to the point. All instructors work together for your success. Come to WV and get it done.

CDL assist helped me get my class A with no restrictions. This place is amazing. Everybody is great to get along with, and the instructors are extremely knowledgeable. Eric made sure I didn t skip a beat when it came time to test. I highly recommend CDL assist to anybody.

I spent a high intensity week of training at CDL Assist. Zach guided the 3 students on our team to success despite moments of self doubt and periods of sleep deprivation. We drilled for the Pre-Trip, Maneuvers (day and night), and Road Test (day and night)... with one break in the action for video review. It was obvious Zach really cared about our success, and he went above and beyond... putting in some long hours to strengthen our weak areas. Also, Zach's words of encouragement came at times when I seriously needed encouragement.I was exposed to many of the instructors and watched them in action. They all appeared good and competent. The entire operation of CDL Assist is well run and professional. Their program is high intensity, but it covers all needed aspects of achieving CDL success. I highly recommend spending time with them in Sophia if you're serious about getting your CDL.Bottom line... my time there was a life experience... some struggle here and there, but I came out stronger!

Great people. Great school. I was very impressed with the training method. Watching so many people with various backgrounds all be able learn the information and easily pass all phases of the exam in a very short period of time was pretty amazing. My instructor, Larry was very patient with our group, and really help us all pass! Thank you!

I came over here to get my CDL back. "Lt. Zack" is an awesome instructor! Even though I have held a CDL license before Zack was very patient and understanding with me and really went the extra mile to make sure I understood and knew how to do things by the book and not the way I was used to doing them and being this course was only 5 days, Zack spent just as much time with me as he did the other students in his class. I would recommend this place to anyone with some knowledge of driving a truck. The examiner Rick is a very down to earth kinda person and is very fair in the way he tests you.

I drove from North Carolina about 5.5-6 hours to come learn with Lieutenant Zach. Zach was an excellent trainer. I come into the class knowing mostly how to drive just needed help with pretrip Zach is really hard on you but for good reason. He puts a little extra pressure on you so it doesn t seem so bad during your actual test. All in all everyone here at this facility are willing to help and are all nice people. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend

I was nervous and stressing Monday morning when the class started . As the class continued I was gaining more and more confidence by the day . Everyone there is friendly and helpful ! If you need your CDL , come to CDL assist in Sophia West by God Virginia !!!

Recently completed upgrade to Class A CDL here with Zach as my instructor. Process was down to a science! Listen, Learn and then Apply! I highly recommend CDL Assist if you need to finish up your CDL training! While enrolled you get 24 hour access to the truck you will test in at the facility.

Instructor was easy to get along with . Company is professional. Day before the test instructor let us go over what ever we needed help with and was very positive on the first day of training his group was ready to test .

Hands down would recommend anyone to go through this class here. The instructors are awesome, fun, and make the learning process easy breezy. My instructor Larry was great. His way of teaching made it so easy and impossible not to retain and remember. If you are looking to get your CDL then this is the place to go. This review is being posted on behalf of SHAWN D.My name is Shawn--I was at the school in September (2023). I learned and absorbed lots of info from CDLASST. My instructor his name is Zach. Zach is THEBEST THE BEST hands down period at what he does. His instructing style really helps you to retain the information. His approach to ensuring that you are learning the truck is stellar. Zach/CDL assist does not get 5 stars they get 10 stars.

Went to CDL ASSSIT in July of 2023 to get my class B and had Zach he was great and he was helpful and knowledgeable on teaching what we needed to know and just came this past week for my class A and had Steve he was super great as well and showed everything we needed to know about the truck a trailer and guided us in the right direction to obtain our goal we came for. Thanks for the experience and the help was awesome.

If you're looking for a school to get your CDL at a reasonable price and efficient time CDL Assist is the place for you. The staff is very generous and helpful. I totally recommend them.

I went to school here I learned more in a week than what I thought I knew for 10 years of driving. I had instructor Zach he was amazing funny and outgoing guy he made learning very much fun. I ll be back to get my passenger endorsement soon as I save the money up. Cdl assist is not just a school it s a family and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Larry and all of the staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging. While the amount of information appeared daunting at first, Larry broke it down into easy to remember pieces and helped keep our nerves under control. I would highly recommend CDL Assist and especially Larry if you can get him.

This was the best learning experience I have ever had! My instructor Larry was awesome! He was very patient, understanding, and professional! I will recommend CDL Assist LLC to anybody that is looking to further their driving skills!

Davey is a great instructor, he really cares about his students. I highly recommend him. I asked for some more time on a trouble area for me and he spent the time necessary to make sure I had it down pat. As with everything, you get out what you put in. I can tell that this place is run by good management because everyone was positive and worked well together which is not easy to accomplish in todays world. Hats off to management as well. Every detail that is needed to obtain a Cdl is taught thoroughly by them.

CDL Assist is a great experience. I had Zack as an instructor and he did a great job of preparing my 3 classmates and I to pass out CDL tests in just 3.5 days. If you have prior truck experience or mechanic experience working on trucks, then this is the fast track CDL assist school for you.
