Booked a room online, arrived about an hour early to see if we could check In early. Refused us service and demanded we give them a credit card as leverage "in case we break something" or even charge us for stiff we didn't do. Offet3d virtual credit cards or even debit cards, was not good enough for them so they refused us the room we booked and even wouldn't give us a refund. We reached out however and did get our refund back, although it's pretty discriminating and felt as if we got stereotyped. Doesn't state anywhere when booking they have to have a credit card to hold onto either. Plus, the whole place wreacked if cigarettes

Stayed a week here. I will be honest. I was nervous at first. Wishing I had booked the $150 a night place down the street. But after the first night I was glad I didn't. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean and well maintain. The staff was awesome. And we slept well. It was nice and quite. The coffee was great. The continental breakfast was not for me but, McDonald's is right there across the parking lot. Did I mention that the coffee was great.

I have stayed at this hotel for many years. Some things you can sacrifice for sake of your overall trip like quality pillows, extra outlets, and television. To have frequented a hotel that doesn't have your back is kind of unacceptable. We tried to check out 22min. beyond late check out to cut our stay one day short due to inclimate weather and the front desk charged us the extra day. I do understand the policy, but I also understand we compromised as well; went without towels and taking out our own trash due to their new cleaning schedule, a TV without a remote, (when we did get some assistance we were handed an instruction booklet and remote saying maybe this will help) a side entrance that never worked and had to make a double trip as we were on that end of the hotel, wet floor from a clogged toilet from a neighboring room...etc. do you think 22min was really alot to ask?

Wry clean!!!My wife and children were traveling, and my wife needed to stop and rest.We seen the large super 8 hotel sign from the interstate. We we greeted with two smiling faces, William and Kim!Maybe they could tell we were exhausted and my wife needed rest. The expeditiously found us a room to accommodate us and our family. Kim even freshly brewed coffee for me! They explained restaurants and things to do in the area in the event we wanted to explore the area once we were rested. We would definitely with out a doubt come back to this hotel.Rooms: Very clean!!

Run down, room smelled of smoke and pets. One sheet so worn you could see through it. Bed was fine and the a/c worked well. I wouldn t come back to this location. It has a real motel feel. I ve stayed at other hotels in this price range, and most are better than this one.

The bed and pillows are great, the climate control is pretty good too. Really decent location, but the lack of a solid breakfast is disappointing.I'd like to rate 4 stars, but without a dedicated breakfast area I don't think I can give it more than 3. Still, a very good place to stay if you plan on just needing a day or two

I was very tired after 2 long days of driving so admittedly wasn t the sharpest but I had a hard time finding the hotel. It s right off the expressway but it is in with many other businesses. I drive to where the very high Super 8 sign was and there was what I thought was the hotel. The parking lot was very small and the entrance was a single door without an awning. There were no signs on the building so I was wondering if this was actually the hotel or maybe an apartment building or condo s. The first vehicle entrance I came to said one way - do not enter . The only other entrance had a sign for Super 8 with the arrow pointing away from the hotel (see pic). I tried following the arrow and drove around the other businesses as well as around the area and just couldn t find the hotel. This was so bizarre. After 10 minutes of looking I finally went back to the building and it wasn t until I went in and approached the small main desk that I saw a worn out Super 8 welcome mat. When I told the guy at the desk his sign had an arrow pointing the wrong way he said yea, maybe they did that to direct vehicles to their large vehicle overflow parking lot . Really?I was invited to the continual breakfast in the morning and as I passed by the smallest breakfast area I have ever seen at a hotel I decided to pass. The room was expensive at $100 (not the $59 advertised). It was definitely on the small side as these rooms go. The pillows were actually lumpy. Throughout the night as I woke up all I was aware of was how lumpy the pillows were. There was a depression in the floor at the base of the bed and something that had been spilled on the tv stand that had not been cleaned up.Now the positives. The room overall was clean and fresh. The climate control was quiet and worked well. Overall the room was quiet.I liked this location in particular and there were lots of options for dining. Unfortunately for Super 8 there are many other hotels to choose from so in the future if passing through this area I will not be staying here.Note: One day after writing this review my brother and his wife returning from a vacation stayed at this very hotel. My brother just told me how he filled the tub with water to take a bath and water started leaking out of the tub. It was not obvious where the water was leaking so he thought it was the drain plug. After he finished his bath he discovered water saturated the carpeting in his room. He was given a discount after this which was nice but this is just another reason not to stay there.

Great experience. I travel a lot and I am always skeptical about staying at Super 8. Super 8 is generally hit and miss depending on where in the country you are. Some Super8 are worthless and some can be 3-4 star. This was one of the better Super 8 I have stayed at. Good beds, pillows, service, clean rooms.Nearby activities: Events going on up on courthouse square while I was thereWalkability: Stores and food in walking distance.Food & drinks: Several restaurants nearby

My stay was great! The room was very neat and clean and the staff were very attentive to my needs. They serve a simple breakfast as they are unable to give a hot breakfast due to supply chain break down. But that is everywhere. The hotel is close to several fast food and a Bob Evans so getting food is easy. There is also a steak house nearby. The a/c was great kept my room cool. All in all if you want a quiet and relaxing place this is it

I was only there for a one night stay for a funeral. Wasn't really any service to rate, basic check-in, check-out, but I knew that going in.Having said that, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. There was a self-serve breakfast, the selection was better than expected.Would stay again.

We stayed in two rooms for four nights while moving. If I needed to stay longer I wouldn't have been mad!! The staff was friendly (especially the housekeepers). They kept the rooms and hallways smelling and looking beautiful! The beds were comfortable and the showers had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The continental breakfast was very good - I am biased though--they had my most favorite danishes!!! There was a nice area for our dog to walk. The only negative was the parking. The lot is small and the opposite exit road is V shaped ...not good for our small trailer. There was a gravel area for big trucks and trailers. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this Super 8!!!

This is a small hotel and the location to close to everything you need for a quick stay. We only stayed over night on our way home. I know there are reviews that this place is very clean and staff very friendly however, the rooms qnd building are dirty, the door that has a security tag that reads " This door is locked for your protection..." not locked all night. There was hair and bugs in our showers ( we had a couple of rooms) the floor was not vacuumed as there was stuff that was obvious, like a penny and fuzz and dust alo g all the baseboards. The smell in the rooms was not good, one smelled moldy the other like cologne . I didn't expect much for the price but was hopeful.

Very clean and comfy nestled in the mountains of West Virginia off 77. Lots of eateries and a Kroger I believe and a tractor supply. And some other little shops. The staff were very accommodating and polite. Again due to supply chain shortages not much of a breakfast. But if you want a quiet clean and pleasant night , this is it. Also nearby is a state park and driving thru the country side is beautiful

We're a contractor and we were working on a local property near the hotel. We had used this hotel's costs for a budget in concern to the job and for the first mobilization, everything was well. Unfortunately, they've happened upon new management. Upon arrival they required a credit card but would not take our company card over the phone and requested a faxed copy of our card, which is against most any companies policies. If this is any indication of the quality of new management, it's probably best to lower your expectations going forward for this property.

The room we were in was very clean, very comfortable. I would certainly recommend staying here to anyone in the area who is looking for a quality room with great service. 5 stars to you guys Daniel & Tim
