TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The owner is very rude & unprofessional! He quoted me a price on the phone & then when I went to pay charged me $30 more than he quoted me on the phone. He called me a liar & said he'd put cheaper tires on my car. I got 2 used tires, I had to take my car back a week later because my tire was leaking air. I was charged another $28 to patch a tire that was just put on there. I've been buying tires here for year's but, never will again!I would suggest going to Rice Tires, comparable prices with professional friendly service!

If I could give negative stars I would. This place deserves to be out of business. I'm not positive if they are running a scam or they are just that incompetent with their knowledge and service of vehicles. I wouldn't trust Zims to put air in my kids tricycle tires. About 7 visits to fix a simple oil leak, which you couldn't find nor fix and claimed it wasn't leaking even though it left puddles everywhere it was parked. Then the oil line blew and the motor seized. Well over a month just to get a replacement. The replacement was bad and not installed properly, got another replacement, installed wrong a second time. Let's not forget that they kept another car on the lift while they waited for back order parts and left our vehicle sit in the lot for about a month when they had the motor for it. When I asked why they didn't flatbed the car on the lift into the lot and fix ours, the answer was, they didn't want to lose the other car or the parts they took off. Really? If you lose cars and parts in your lot, maybe you should consider another career. So, long story short and over 20k later, and another garage fixing all of their mistakes, including not putting in new plugs when the new motor went in, but put the old plugs which were no good, one was bent, another smashed, and 2 wires connected wrong, the better business bureau will be contacted. Hopefully our attorney can get a settlement out of court, but if not we are prepared to go for the full amount of damages including lost wages because of not having a working vehicle in an acceptable amount of time. Again, don't go to Zims. They have no clue how to do simple work like find an oil leak. It ended up costing us over 20k, 2 motors and another garage to fix their mistakes. We also have a sworn statement from the garage that fixed Zims mistakes stating everything they had to fix over multiple appointments. This place deserves to be shut down. CSX, find another shop to take your trucks. You don't want them screwing up your vehicles for the railroad.

Told my girlfriend to take her car there to get the brakes fixed. Now they grind and are worse than before. $1200 down the drain. I checked the pads... it's still the old brake pads in the front

AVOID AT ALL COSTSThese sheisters tried to tell me all 4 rims were bent and sell me new ones- when the tires just needed balanced to get rid of wheel shake. I went somewhere else the same day and got the problem fixed for under a hundred dollars. Came back and requested a refund for paying for them to balance my tires (which they could not do "because my rims were so bent") The guy at the counter basically laughed, so I left before I lost my cool.Will NEVER go there again.Mechanic friend told me they probably had some new guy who didn't know how to properly mount the rims in the balancing machine.

Highly recommend! I was leaving work at 4:30 and found a nail in my tire. Thankfully it was not flat (yet). I called Zims and even though they closed at 5:00 they told me to come on in and they would take care of it. Not the first time I ve been there. They never disappoint!

Great local business. The real deal. These guys won't even let you drive away if your vehicle is unsafe. This is who I trust with my children's vehicles.

New to West Virginia...went to Sim's for inspection...was one million percent satisfied with not only the service from the front end to back end but prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Sim's to everyone! I will definitely keep them as our place to bring our car.

Id give zero but you cant! This place is nothing but a rip off! They tell you small things are wrong with your car and make you pay over 2 x the average to fix it if you want your inspection sticker. BEWARE!

Only positive comments for Zim's! They are honest, professional and quick. Extremely helpful to me in a difficult situation. Much better to work with than a big chain where you're just a number. 5 big stars!

Really nice folks here... Came in for tires to be mounted on my car. Just because they had an extremely busy day, they took way too long to get my car done. To make it right, they offered to do an alinement for free the next morning. And when I showed up the next morning, they were ready for me. Customer for life!

i showed up at almost 5 which is when they close and even told them the wrong size but they sayed after to find me the right size mount and balanced them for me. very nice staff and quality tires would highly recommend them to anyone

I have an older truck that I use for farm work. It kept quitting and leaving me stranded. I had a few people look at it, even a dealer, and no one could tell me what was wrong with it. Zim's had it a few days and had it up and running. Wayne is a great guy and always willing to work with me. Honest friendly service that I highly recommend.Dr. Rodney Rishel

Got an inspection done in Romney at S&S auto. They didn't charge me and wrote down what I needed to fix. I replaced the parts they had written down for me and took my car to Zim's as it was closer. Zims says they can't pass it because of a "small rust hole in muffler" and my tires didn't have enough tread after I literally just came from getting my oil changed where they told me my tires and tread were fine. Also, I'm no expert but I've been doing my own work on my vehicles for 10plus years. Stay away from Zim's for WV inspections unless your car is fresh off the lot.

Wayne is great. Hard to find a mechanic that is trustworthy. This guy is IT..! I am moving far away soon, and it is a tragedy, because it is almost impossible to find another Wayne.

I've been coming here for a while. Wayne and his team are honest, fair, they explain all that needs fixing and if you don't understand (like me), they break down for you. I will always bring my car here.
