Small mechanic shop that can be easily missed. If you're having car trouble this is the place you want to go. Service is great, polite knowledgeable workers. Most of all HONEST, they tell you what's wrong with the car, what needs to be done, they don't sugar coat anything. THEY DONT ADD UNNECESSARY THINGS. Great prices,great people, great service. Next time your car is sick and having problems. Call them, stop hesitating and call them DAMN IT..

Very thorough, affordable, and most importantly HONEST. Great service, top notch technicians, straight answers no upsell. I went to them for periodic preventive maintenance service. Highly recommend.

I can not begin to thank them enough for how great of a job they did. I had multiple things done to my car. They broke down each thing that needed to be done and put it in simple terms for me to understand. I was very stress because I had a previous bad experience from another mechanic shop. But everyone there was super friendly and communicated with me through the whole process. I will never go anywhere else besides here. They are super professional and shows that they care.

The lady running the office is fantastic! My scheduled appointment was kept. No waiting. The mechanics were very knowledgeable and had no problem explaining what was needed. If you want to be treated well, dealt with honestly, educated about your vehicle, and support a local business, then go here. Bob is great and always comes out to chat with you about your car and say hello. I've never been to a place that so genuinely appreciates your business. They can do it all - WV state inspections, regular maintenance, and major repairs. I'm on the 4th vehicle I've taken to them and will use them anytime I can. They do charge a small, nominal fee to use a credit card, but that is necessary for any small business to recoup the fees they are charged for taking credit cards.

Truly one of the great businesses in Charles Town. It is difficult to find an honest mechanic who looks after their clients first. It is equally difficult to find one who charges a good rate. To find both in one place is wonderful. I've been a customer for many years. I tried a couple different shops in the past 8 years but always came back due to the fact that those people are honest and know their stuff. They don't repair things that aren't broken to make a quick buck. You get a friendly, honest and professional treatment. The owner goes above and beyond. This is the only place I truly trust and I know me and my car will be taken care of. God bless you and I hope this place will be around for many many more years! I appreciate everything you did for me and my car(s).

This is the only place I recommend to anyone that needs work done on their vehicle. I typically work on my own vehicles for most repairs and general maintenance. However, when I come across an issue that I don't have the expertise to handle, or the equipment to perform the fix, I take my vehicles to Bob. I have trusted Bob to work on my vehicles in this fashion for 5+ years and he is the only one I wholeheartedly trust to provide me the highest level of support and honesty in the region. Bob and his staff are both professional and friendly. Bob likes to get to know his customers and treats them more like friends and family than customers. If you have a automotive repair need, take your vehicle to Bob!

These guys were so knowledgeable. I had talked to quite a few of the gentlemen there. Bob who is the owner was very welcoming and friendly. James had greeted me with a Good Morning as soon as I entered and made sure that whatever I needed to get done, was completed. Finally, Mark had worked on my car and replaced the thermostat. He answered all the questions I had about my car and even went the extra mile to check other issues I thought I may have been having with my vehicle. My car is in great condition again thanks to everyone at this shop! Thank you fellas!

UPDATE!!! Bob with Advance Authority is the greatest. His schedule was busy Mon-Fri and could not squeeze me in. But he asked me to bring my car in on his day off Saturday 9/18/21 to replace a brake caliper on my Chrysler 300. His price was reasonable and he even asked to drop me off at home and to pick me up. He provided excellent customer service. Thanks Bob!!!Took my Audi A4 Convertible for engine repair. After diagnosis of engine they done a service inspection and discovered front axle boot bad and some other miscellaneous repairs needed. The owner Bob and front desk representative James was fantastic.Let me tell any Audi, VW or BMW owner to get the dealership repair out of your spirit. The dealership don t have anything on Advance Auto Authority. They have prices that you wouldn t want to walk away from. Very affordable, friendly and up front. These guys know their Cars from American built to Foreign built. What I enjoy about this shop is that these guys are honest and will save you $$$$. Best mechanics I've ever known that would tell you what's wrong woth your vehicle and if they don't know the answer they will get the answer. True professionals. They let you know what's wrong or not. No cheating you, and charging for services not required. My wife and I take our Sedan and SUV there for everything. Actually, just took my sons truck for service while he's overseas with his wife in Germany. Perfection. I trust Advanced Auto Authority with my fine German automobile, and my other cars as well. Their knowledgeable and honest staff are a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend them enough. No matter what you drive, they can be trusted to care for your vehicle, and treat you great in the process.

They specialize in imports, but work on just about any make/model.They are the nicest people I've ever met in the auto repair business. They're honest and won't try and sell you turn signal lube or tell you that your car needs new muffler bearings. Lol.Seriously, I don't trust many places, but I sure trust the folks at Advanced Auto!Bob is a wizard of auto mechanics!

Easily gets a 5star rating, honest, friendly and knowledgeable.Willing to go above and beyond to help. They've done everythingautomotive for me from an engine rebuild to state inspections.Would recommend to anyone who think all auto repair shop areall rip-off's. Brought my car here for a quick fix for the engine splash guard. Service was amazing and staff was incredibly friendly (thank you so much for the hiking tips!!). Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Have have a 1974 VW convertible. Only the skilled mechanic Mark will take care of all its needs. The staff is great and owner Bob is like family. Best find in Charles Town! Reasonable and reliable!

I have been going to Bob for several years now and have grown to call him friend as well as knowng he and his crew are excellent mechanics. But most importantly, I know I can trust his suggestions for repairs and the resulting work. Trust is an unusual thing these days in auto repair!

Put a new engine in my car after I cracked the oil pan. It wasn t a cheap fix but I feel the cost could ve been more if I took it anywhere else. Honest price for honest work. 50k miles later and it s still running perfectly.

I will never take any of my families vehicles anywhere else. They do great work!! They are great with BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Volvo, VW, and any other make or model.

I called their number and the lady who answered unceremoniously hang up the phone and refused to pick up the phone.
