This place is wonderful. We wanted to take a simple getaway with the kids to ski in WV for the weekend. From the moment we stepped in the door, we were met with very welcoming staff. My kids LOVED the free cookies and popcorn. We ve already enjoyed the pool. As a parent, I appreciate the cleanliness of the entire facility. Plus, I couldn t get over the great price. If we ever come back this way again, this is the only place we d want to stay. Very well done!!!

Nice hotel with all the usual amenities. It was a large king room with a comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly check-in and limited breakfast buffet provided in the AM. Not much more to say other than it's a good location. This hotel checks off all the boxes. No surprises. Try it.Rooms: Large king.

The rooms were a great size to fit our family of 5! The room we had came with a mini fridge and microwave - perfect to stock our cold items over night and make some popcorn for a movie! The breakfast in the morning was good. They kept up with keeping food stocked since it seemed to be pretty busy. Lots of options to choose from! The only downside was the pool being closed. This was the main reason we chose to stay at this hotel over the many others nearby. The front desk said we could go next door and use their pool- which we did but the pool next door wasn t heated. So be warned!Overall, worked out well for the one night we needed to make our way home.

The rooms were fantastic! A roach lived in my bed (amazing roommate) and a rat lived in the bathroom sink cabinet! Service was splendid, they even gave me a new nickname, a$$wipe! Location was exceptional, right off the highway with much road noise! Thanks so much for this unforgettable experience!Rooms: trashySafety: I think I may be shot.

Our room was filthy. There was a used bar of soap in our bed. Tucked between the sheets?.. There was clumps of hair that were not our hair color in the bed. It was clear that the sheets were not changed. The toilet and shower were moldy and outdated. We paid 160$ for a suite and I feel like we did not get what we paid for. The complementary breakfast was inedible. The food seemed to have been made days prior and was old and grey looking. my whole family was excited about it but ended up having to get breakfast elsewhere. This place used to be a great place to stay if you are vacationing in the area, but for as much as they are charging, you can get a better room and have a better experience elsewhere.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, convenient location, and the customer service was just phenomenal. I truly appreciated everyone s kindness their level of helpfulness is unmatched by any other hotel I ve stayed at before. Definitely recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat. An unexpected stay due to car trouble brought me here, and everyone I encountered during my two days went above and beyond to help make my stay comfortable. Special thanks to Will, the maintenance staff, for driving me to Walmart so I wouldn t have to walk and to the receptionist who lent me her personal phone charger when I arrived so late at night unprepared.

We stopped here after a long day of driving.Pros- front desk staff at check in was friendly and helpful and the staff member at checkout was great. Clean room. Nice breakfast with hot choices- eggs, biscuits, sausage, and a place to make waffles and fresh fruit, hot shower, nice lobby area with a Christmas tree.Cons- little pillows that were way too small and not comfy, no hand soap in a pump - only tiny bars of soap, small tv, to find a channel you have to input 5 numbers on the remote , side door did not lock and was open day and night ( not safe) , and the worst thing of all . Paper thin walls and doors .. kids were running up and down the halls yelling until 1 a.m. , someone in the room above kept banging on the floor and someone was running around til 1a.m. When you are traveling you need a good night s sleep and we did not get it due to the noise level until 1a.m.The hotel looks to be remodeled but the inside could use a bit more updating in the rooms.

For the price being over $100 for the stay I really expected more from this hotel. The flooring on the 2nd floor was a little "wavy" which is fine, I'm here for the room. But poking around in the room, going through drawers I find trash from previous guests. Which then makes me question how well are they really cleaning. I used the shower the next morning and with the water running the tub couldn't drain fast enough. I stood in about 3 inches of water while showering. I wanted to stretch and relax my leg muscles. No hot tub which alright, I'll use the pool. No it's ice cold and theres a layer of film on the top. I could have paid less and got more elsewhere

We stayed in a room classed as a suite 111. The room was clean but we where not happy with the noise in the room caused by the elevator equipment that was disturbing in the night as we tried to sleep. We should have been informed of the problem when we where checked in and paid a premium for. Very poor for the 150.00 we paid to stay there.Rooms: As stated not a great room #111.Food & drinks: The breakfast was great. Best part of our experience.

I give myself 0 stars!!!! The rooms are half cleaned (not because of the house keepers) they try to do their jobs the correct way but in my book it s a really sad day when the GM of the hotel fusses at one of her employees for taking to long to clean a room THE RIGHT WAY! She was giving him down the road for taking too long to clean it five way or should!! I think if they would get a new GM this hotel would be 1,000 times better! Other than her the staff was great!

The toliet and shower was dirty. The sofa and chairs in the living room area were visually dirty. Bad odor on the counter above the mini fridge.I ended up purchasing cleaning products and cleaned the bathroom. We didn't sit on the sofa and chairs at all. This use to be a decent place to stay. The hotel needs updating and cleaning. The GM was suppose to contact me but never did. While checking out I spoke to the GM and expressed my disappointment. $100 was refunded.Unfortunately there are only a few hotels I this area. I won't stay there again.

We booked a one night stay here on a roadtrip to Florida and liked the hotel so much we stayed there on the way back home as well. Rooms are clean, nicely sized, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast options were fine with all items you would expect. The pool was great. And finally they have cookies at the front desk available 24/7 - a real nice touch. We will happily stay here again.

Start off saying the Staff are super friendly and nice. The breakfast isn't too bad. It's essentially the same everyday but it's a hot breakfast and was good. The hotel looked old, and the 3 rooms we rented smelled weird and old. Internet was very slow, and you had to pay about $4 to use the washer and dryer which is a little annoying. The Pool seamed to always have a layer of foam on it and could never see the bottom so I just decided not to use. Another issue is it had the old key card system where if it came in contact with anything electronic you'd have to reset it; so phones, airbuds, watches, key fob; if you had only 2 pockets you almost might as well just get a new card before you go to your room. Overall if I came back I'd probably try a different one; but I really appreciated how nice the staff was.

Easily one of the worst hotels I ve ever stayed at. Our plane got in quite early so we called the hotel to see if there was any way we could do an early check in. The lady who answered at 0650 was amazing and so sweet and said absolutely. When we got to the hotel around 11:30am an older lady at the front desk stated she was the general manager and she had been there since 0700 and there s no way she would have authorized that. She was so condescending and full of attitude. We told her no biggie if the room wasn t ready we could wait, she just kept harassing us asking to see the number we called because she didn t believe us! This old lady was NUTS! Later the other younger front desk attendants apologized for how rude their GM was and how out of bounds she was for her behavior. We just told them we were sorry they had to work under someone that horrible.Rooms were pretty dated and in poor shape. Definitely should have paid an extra $30 and stayed at the Fairfield next door.

I was fully prepared to leave a full 5 stars on every category based on previous visits. Unfortunately, such was not the case this time. Rooms in the past? 5 stars easily. This time: drawers that wouldn't stay closed, a TV that didn't work, and rolling chair that made a popping noise the few times they were sat in. The serve was mostly good, except for our Sunday breakfast where the front end clerk did not appear very welcoming at all. I would stay here again just because of wonderful experiences in the past.

I give this place 0 stars. My entire family usually stays at this hotel every time we visit West Virginia and I can ensure you now that none of us will ever be returning. The hotel charged a $265 "cleaning" fee because they claimed it smelt like smoke. Mind you, there was no smoking in this room and no evidence of such. I called 3 times to try to discuss this with management and each time the receptionist said she would leave a note to have the manager call me, which never happened. This facility even has a sign outside to show you where you are ALLOWED to smoke. But apparently if you or your belongings smell like smoke, they will charge you almost double the price of the room. The staff was very rude and treated my significant other with disrespect. I would love to know how it costs $265 to clean a "smell" out of a room. They told me this claim was from housekeeping but no management ever went to confirm there was "smoking" in this room. I've never been more disappointed in an establishment in my entire life and i will make it my goal to let every single person I know to never give this place a dime of their money.

Hotel is currently in the middle of upgrades so be mindful of that. Hot tub is no longer and pool was rather chilly but it was there and was well maintained. Fridge, safe, microwave all worked well. The bathroom is a little tight but overall manageable. Breakfast was great. Coffee available all day long along with complimentary bakery, computer/printer didnt work, laundry area had new upgraded washer/dryer unit. Atm located inside which was a bonus. Pillows were rather soft but nothing wrong with them. Well lit, friendly staff, great breakfast, location was great and not to far from dining areas. The stairs yo the second floor were beautiful. Elevators worked and were clean. Would highly recommend this place again.Rooms: Clean, spacious rooms. Safe, fridge, microwave and coffee maker all in our king bed room.

I ve been here for 10 minuets place looks nice but isn t mirror door came off the wall was missing pieces, hair in my bed and some other persons leftovers in the fridge, one of the bottom filters I m the pool came off immediately, and the jets on the pool are broken aswell. No towels in the pool room and no staff to find to tell about it. Those are so far my complaints as I m sure there are more to come in the less then 24 hrs left I have here.Rooms: Not clean disgusting.Safety: Some safety issuesNoteworthy details: Lots of issues and lack of cleaning.

We have gone through WV 4 times this month. Every time we stayed at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Princeton. At all 4 visits, we were warmly greeted and the employees were so pleasant throughout the stay. They do have a few pet friendly rooms, so when I couldn't board my cat on the 2nd trip, I was able to bring him with me. I saw another person walking his dog, but there were no sights or sounds of other pets inside. The front porch was a great place to watch the 4th of July fireworks from. Their breakfast has hot and healthy options, and their wifi was fast. I will be staying with them again, and I recommend them if anyone wants a clean place to stay with friendly service and better breakfast options. They do have a pool and fitness area. I did not use them, but at breakfast I heard the excitement of a couple kids talking about getting to go back to the pool.Safety: Very safe location with plenty of parking.Food & drinks: Breakfast had both hot and healthy options.

Very nice 10 months ago. However, Nov 2023 was the worst hotel stay ever!! Both rooms were terrible, there was a crazy vibration that kept us awake all night, the AC unit would not stay turned off, the front desk person was useless in providing a resolution when we were checking out. Said her manager would call but of course they never did. We will never stay in this hotel or this chain ever again. Absolutely do NOT recommend.Rooms: Roma are sub par, noisy, rediculous vibration prevented sleep, bathrooms leave much to be desired.Noteworthy details: Find somewhere else to stay if you want a good night's sleep

My room was smelly, I had to remake the bed because the fitted sheet was on sideways and wouldn't stay on. There was hair all over the bathroom which was in all kinds of disrepair. It also sounded like there was a helicopter sitting on the roof of the building all night. The internet was down so no tv or wifi for the stay either. Stay somewhere else.
