What was supposed to be 100 bucks for tire replacement and disposal ended up costing 227.70. They used air tools and snapped 2 studs and then proceeded to charge me for extra labor. I will be spreading this far and wide to keep others from wasting their money on service that isn't worth a dime. I had my old tires rotated at Walmart a month ago, I know torque spec was correct because I checked them. Avoid this shop at all costs. I tried taking a picture of the invoice but Google isn't letting me ATM. I will try to update this later. If you value your time, money, and vehicle. DO NOT GO to this shop. This isn't a shop, it is now a scam center essentially. Jackie Barker used to own it, but now the new owners are burning his good name into the ground.

I had them do a wheel alignment on my car after another shop put new tie rod ends and wheel bearings on. When the work was done the mechanic would not talk to me or my husband. Then when I paid the bill I noticed a charge for supplies. They said because they had to turn a wrench I had to pay the fee as well as a charge for actually doing the work. They said everyone gets the supplies fee. I will never use them again or refer anyone to them.

Spent almost $1000 on new tires. I had expensive $20 valve caps I had bought for my tires and didn't think to check when I got my car back with the new tires. When my brother went to check the tire pressure, we discovered that they had stolen all my good valve caps and replaced them with their old used ones. Every valve cap was different and badly worn. Was gonna get shocks here and a lot of other work done, not after making that discovery. I just hope they didn't take anything else off of my car that I don't know about. Won't be back. I shouldn't have to worry about the people working on my stealing pieces off my car. I also want to add that I did get a chance to meet the mechanic that worked on my car the day my tires were put on. He was not friendly at all.

Always great service! Very professional in helping me choose tires for my car - and the tires were ordered and delivered the same day! They do a wide variety of repair work as well and have kept my old truck running for many years! Regardless of the service I can always trust Barkers to give a fair price and stand behind their work!

They helped us out in a jiffy while we were traveling to Florida! We had a slow leak in a tire. Called and verified we could bring it in. We did and we had a screw in the tire that needed to be replaced. They helped us out by finding a used tire at a VERY reasonable price! We were out and back on the road within an hour! So thankful for this company that day!

I had $2700 of work done on my car, a 10 hour job, new emergency brakes, new exhaust and a bunch of other new parts. I get my car back, the muffler is smacking the car like a wreck and the emergency brake doesn't work and i also found ZIP TIES on the repairs. The lady at the front, the older one, didn't care one bit, but other customers said they wont come back that saw this. A see you next Tuesday if you will. No urgency to fix my car when I was facing missing work and their negligence. I wouldn't recommend. They hire anyone and they don't get it right the first time nor test it to make sure it worked. Honestly they should be ashamed, embarrassed and fire the woman up front who has an attitude problem.

Great customer service! I was was waiting for new tires to be put on my vehicle and the wait was not long at all. Another thing that I'd like to point out....the women's restroom was very clean.

We unfortunately broke down on our way home to PA from SC. They fixed our vehicle and got us back on the road quickly. The staff was nice and accommodating.

Would recommend. No complaints about service or professionalism. They have that. What they don t have is decent chairs to sit in. In 67 years I ve never been in a waiting room with such slung back chairs. EVER! I m not some 30 something gangsta. I dread going there for that reason alone. Don t mind the prices being a bit high, but I do mind the chairs. Especially when I m there for hours. Just saying.

Excellent customer service! The ladies at the front are always so sweet. The guy Tony is always so willing to help get my car fixed and always works me in. He knew I was going out of town tomorrow and fit me around his time to get me set up for my trip! As a manager customer service is key and I will recommend Barker's to everyone!

Staff was friendly. 4 truck tires were balanced & tire monitors were installed on truck. Also purchased 5 camper tires that were mounted & balanced. Texted when camper tires were ready to pickup.

I ve seen other reviews and it seems to be really commonplace for the same occurrence. You go to get in inspection sticker and they slap a rejection on it and come up with a one to two hundred dollar reason that ends up being a lot cheaper to fix yourself.

Fixed an issue they didn t cause and assured me if I needed to come back for anything just to come on back! From the front of the house to the back very respectful, friendly and great service for car/truck needs!

Big change from the last time I was here. I can't believe I used to recommend people going here. Last time I was in, the car I had "failed" and inspection for brake pads. I asked how much it would be to replace the rear ones and the price was going to be 130$ before tax. What the hell kind of price is that?! They threw a rejection sticker on it and I went and bought the pads myself (20 bucks cheaper than what they said) replaced them and come to find out, the "bad" brake pads weren't bad. They were still in a passable state. In the end, they tried charging 130$ for a 10 minute job in my garage with hand tools when i spent 40$ after tax for new brake pads. Save yourself some trouble and take your inspections somewhere else. Might as well take everything else, somewhere else because these prices are ridiculous.

Muffler and tailpipe looks and sounds great! Did an excellent job! Was done the same day I dropped it off! Price was on the high side tho but you pay for good quality!

I go here a lot for minor issues but they do almost anything for your car. I can usually get inspected and out within 30 minutes. Nice waiting area with fish and turtles to watch. It has a 50's-60's theme which is nice.

Purchased 4 news tires for my f250 under the premise and selling point of free lifetime rotation and balance. Three months in had the free service done and was happy, today not so much as i was charged for the balance of the tires and was told that it has never been that way. Showed the lady on the previous service that she printed where it was done free but still had to pay to get my vehicle back. Will never return to Barkers Tire for service as they cant keep there promises after the sale.

After breaking down Sunday night, Barker Tire Pros got us in 1st thing in the morning and had us out the door with a reasonably priced repair in no time! The staff and mechanic were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this garage!

I had purchased over two thousand dollars worth of tires and wheels from this business in the winter of 2017. I called back in early spring with a question about tires sizing because I was preparing to purchase five new tires for my wife's new 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The receptionist was apparently incapable of answering questions so she placed me on hold. After a short time, a man who did not identify himself (Possibly a mechanic) picked up the phone and started asking vague questions, such as; Who were you talking too, what is going on? Obviously, there was no communication between the man and the lady I had been speaking with. I can clearly hear the man as he then shouts to someone "here, deal with this" and the man proceeds to mock me and make sarcastic sounds in a very loud tone while passing the phone off to yet a third person. Obviously, I was upset after this foolishness and realized I should not be giving my credit card information to these people. Clearly, either management has changed or they have lost control of the business. Customer service is always a clear indicator of what type of work the mechanics will perform. I will not be purchasing from this place of business now. Amazing how a business can quickly go down hill when a few bad apples end up spoiling the whole bunch.

Had a flat at night on the way home from Florida. We made it to the hotel and got the flat fixed the next morning. Everybody at Bakers was great. They were very courteous and took car of us. Highly recommend!

Was there for over three hours, getting two tires for the front of my car. The wait wouldn't be an issue if I hadn't seen my car be taken back around the first hour, for it to be completed who knows when, and the clerk deciding to finally remember about my car and ask one of the mechanics of it was done as I walked out the door to see if it was out there.After that I waited in line at the checkout for well over 30 minutes so I could check out but around the same time an older gentleman came in asking about truck tires and the people in the shop decided it was much more important to upsell him the most expensive tires they could instead of checking out a customer who had been there three hours plus.

Barker's offers quality automobile services in the Mercer County (WV) area. Rates are comparable to other such shops in the area. Barker's stands apart from the others in that they don't try to fabricate unnecessary repairs to add to the bill. They stand behind their work.

"Money racket" priced on phone and ran up price when I showed up.Literally said, I quote, "Most people that call for pricing don't show up. So we give a price that will get them here to our shop!" Refused to make it right after they admitted there faults wouldn't wiggle on price at all. Wont be back!

Worst experience I've ever had. It's nothing but a money racket. Horrible. You know those tv shows where you go in for something simple and then they conveniently find bullsh*t just to milk you to death? Yeah, that's Barkers. Terrible experience, terrible customer service.
