I will never think all dealerships are the same again because I had a great experience at this one. It was so festive and decorated and I met the sweetest and most considerate girl. The parts dept was so helpful and actually acted like they wanted to help me as well. I won't be going anywhere else from now on that's for sure.

Excellent experience buying a Ridgeline. They gave a fair price for my trade-in and were reasonable with the sale price of the new vehicle. Process was painless and quick. I highly recommend them.Service Department needs to be open on Saturdays. Getting my last car in for service was difficult due to working full time. I had to take my car to Athens once because Pioneer didn t have any weekend hours. I ve lived in areas where there was Honda service available on Saturdays and it was great!

I got a used car it's been in the shop 2 times it's going to be going on my third time!!! Just got it a month in a half ago!!!! They say my battery is good etc but the Collison lights come on while driving then a warning system malfunction comes on my car won't start!!! Sounds like a ecm issue !!! This is a nissan versa 2021 only 66 thousand miles on it!!!

I had a wonderful experience at their used auto lot today with D.I needed information - the bottom line as far as what was best for me financially. In the end the truth didn't benefit Pioneer but truly put me on the right track. Thank you D./Pioneer.

Bought a vehicle thinking they were giving us a fair deal during their grand opening. After trying to walk out several different times and they continually kept harassing prices at us, we ended up there till midnight! After buying we then realized our 36,000 dollar vehicle was only worth 19,000! They wouldn't make it right.

Don't buy a new car from this dealership. My brother purchased a brand new 2023 Volkswagen Jetta from Pioneer Honda last Thursday and the car started making a noise the very next day - less than 6 miles into ownership. No problem, he took it back to the dealership to take a look. They saw it and said it was a rock stuck in the rotor. Guess what, the dealership wants $130 to get the rock out. This is unacceptable. One would assume they would resolve this issue as a curtesy after someone purchased a brand new car and the car started making noises the very next day!! Nope, not Pioneer Honda of Parkersburg... Look elsewhere. There are several honest trustworthy VW dealerships in Central Ohio - look there, they're worth the drive.

Parts department is not interested in selling to general public, The markup pricing is insane, Parkersburg is 45% higher than Athens Honda and double the markup from online Honda parts. Had to ask where the parts department even was, no signs, no computer, just an empty countertop. Salesman was extremely rude and zero people skills, Sure miss Larry Simmons Honda

Terrible experience. I wanted a new Honda and they offered the worst financing I have ever seen. When I laughed at this and tried to leave the APR magically went from 15% to 4%. Then they used high-pressure sales tactics to try to get me to stay. I would caution against going here if you do not have a good understanding of finance, interest, etc. They will try to trick you into taking a high interest loan spread across many years.

Rude response email when I mentioned a nearby dealer who I planned to take a look at due to their market adjustment on Civics. I did not have a specific ask, and was flexible, the other dealer was selling the same trim cars at MSRP.Ended up finding a better similarly priced new car thanks to Pioneer NOT listing their market adjustment online and the attitude though!

We have had our Honda's serviced at Larry Simmons and now Pioneer since we have owned them.There have been several times with less than great results but there is only one Honda dealer in town. At the beginning of June, my wife took her 2017 Honda pilot to be serviced because of the Ac not working. She was told that the condenser had physical damage and the system was flat on charge.She was quoted around $1200 to repair it.A couple weeks earlier I had checked the system with my gauge and the gauge tacked out as if the system was equalized making me believe faulty compressor but it was not low on charge.The car has never had front end damage so the physical damage to the condenser did not make sense. But we took it to a dealer to have it fixed correctly and they are the professionals. She scheduled the service. When the first day came around they called after a few hours and said they ordered the wrong hose but changed the condenser and when the part came in she could bring it back and they would finish the job. She returned two weeks later to have it finished. They called a few hours later and said they broke the TXV (expansion valve) and they had to order it but wouldn't charge for it. At this point I knew they did not diagnose the problem correctly. I have been working in refrigeration and air conditioning wholesale and supply for over thirteen years. I have watched parts changing be done for years when the issue isn't diagnosed correctly. Today she returned for trip three to have them put the new TXV on. They never called to tell us it was ready and as closing time was approaching we headed towards the dealership while calling. We were put on hold and no one ever answered. We show up and they say it isn't fixed.*surprise* They explained that it is now the compressor which is bad,which is what I had guessed since the very beginning.They said that the compressor couldn't be diagnosed while there was no gas in the system because of leaks. I do not believe there were ever leaks but regardless a quick google search shows that many aspects of the compressor can be checked without charge.The service manager took my wife into his office while I was not there and talked a bunch of industry jargon that means nothing to people out of the industry and frankly came across condescending to a female. I absolutely know what those things mean as well as the cost of items and refrigerant. She was told that they could use an after market compressor for around 700 that does not include install costs. You can buy an aftermarket compressor for $419 and an install kit for $55 from autozone. So they weren't even cutting a break on that even though it is their misdiagnoses to begin with. They also discussed changing the oil and rotating the tires while they had it. They did not do either and just shrugged when asked if it was done. Their solution was to keep the car and do those things in the morning. Which they would perform at no charge. So after three trips due to misdiagnosis,incorrect parts ordering,and breaking parts(or trying another after the first didn't work.) We are $1300 lighter and still have no AC. In my thirteen years I have never once had a customer have 75% of the major components all fail. Stay away from this place. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

So we went in and spoke with Dylan and he was your normal salesman. Was working with 3 or 4 customers at the same time. I informed his my credit wasn't perfect and he ASSURED me that they can do something. We picked out a vehicle and he had my credit ran and told me that I wasn't approved for that vehicle that we needed to be around a 2017 and under 30k. As if it wasn't hard enough he told me that ANY pioneer lot can transfer cars to him.So we went to Marietta and found another one, a 2016 Jeep that was 29k.Perfect we thought! The salesman there said we were not approved for that one either! I asked the sales man why he said the credit applications do not transfer and they had to run my credit AGAIN. I went back to Dylan and told him what had happened and he said he could get it to work. He later came out and told me that is wasn't going to work without $4,000.00 down. I work for a living and can't drop 4k. We started to leave so I asked him where I check my mailer to see what I had won, he informed me at The Mazda dealership (owned by pioneer) across the street. We went over there when we met a nice lady (the only reason I'm giving two starts). She helped us out and told us of a program they had were with a sponsor (a co signer for 8 months) we could get the car. I called my boss he agreed to do that. We they saw his PERFECT credit history the story changed. Now I can't even be on the loan. This place hit my credit 26 times!!!!!! Now it going to be forever before I can look at another car. Thanks for nothing PIONEER AUTO!!! YOU NEED TO STOP LYING TO PEOPLE AND HELP THEM LIKE YOU SAY YOU DO!!!!

Highly recommend DeAndre at the used lot on 14th street! He helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The best service I've had when trading in and purchasing a vehicle, hands down. I won't go to anyone else.

Bought a Kia used oil real bad wouldn't go in 4 wheel drive..told me they didn't work on Kia so had it towed to Kia told me to drive it then come back tomorrow I said dude it won't have any oil in it if I driveit..had the warranty but couldn't get them to fix it. Never buy a vehicle from pioneer

Yesterday I bought my first car from Pioneer. I have been looking for a car for forever and being a 18 year old fresh out of highschool makes buying your first car kinda tough. I was grateful for the extremely nice people at Pioneer that were able to help me buy my first car. It took a lot of discussing and a lot of time but I left the lot with my first car and I couldn t be happier! Pioneer is a really great place to get a car. They won t scam you or try to sell you something that will fall apart as soon as you drive it off the lot. There are a lot of amazing, nice people there. They will do all they can to help you.

I came in nervous and shaky but Nikki and Megan got me into the car I wanted. This was my first time financing and I am so happy with my vehicle and monthly payment. No one tried to pressure me into options I didn't need and most importantly they were warm and friendly. I learned so much closing this deal, they even helped me get a better quote for my full coverage insurance! I left the lot with a full tank of gas and spotless detailing. If you need a car and don't want too much hassle, do yourself a favor and ask for Nikki or Megan, you will be happy you did & tell them Elle sent ya!

I'm from Morgantown and got stranded on Rt 50. Roadside assistance had me towed to Pioneer Honda as the nearest dealership to get service. It took 3 hours to get towed there, at which time their technicians were already leaving for the day. One hadn't left yet and really graciously stayed late to get my car back on the road. It was about a 30 min job. My oil plug fell out, and not only did they take care of that and refilling the oil, but went the extra mile of cleaning up some of the underside and making sure my backup camera was cleaned, because the whole rear of the vehicle was covered in oil spray. Everyone in the service department was professional, friendly and helpful. They even recommended a nearby restaurant since we wound up there at dinner time. They made a stressful day go a lot more smoothly.

On June 20, 2022 we took our Honda in for a warranty on the AC Condenser. They told us that they were not going to honor it due to foreign object damage but their invoice only stated that the condenser had extensive oil leak at the condenser which is exactly what the warranty states. After countless phone calls for months between Hondas customer service line, the dealership, and US they agreed to do the work under "goodwill". I took the car in on September 20, 2022 exacrly 4 months from the initial inspection. The warranty was supposed to cover everything including the inspection cost. The dealership refused to give us our money back. Upon taking the car in I had already taken pictures and videos on my car as we felt they were going to do something to it. I had no lights on in my car and when I started it after they worked on it there was a check engine light on and they proceeded to tell me that those were on already. When I got thre I requested to see my part and have them prove where this damage was and busted them in their lie about it. Then I requested my part back when it was time to leave because I wanted it for proof and they told me I couldn't have it that it had to be returned to the Honda manufacturer. I then walked away again and went to look at my car to which I found the condenser placed back into my car with new refrigerant put into it. The warranty was not honored they placed the bad manufacturers part back into my car. They called the police on me for refusing to leave because I wanted to speak with the tech that serviced my car which they refused to let me speak with him as well. I am filing a law suit against them along with Honda directly. If I could give a negative star I would give them 1,000 negative stars. There is so much more that happened but I would never take my car there again or buy a vehicle either.

Honda extended the warranty on the AC on Civics. Took ours there to get fixed. They charged us $130 just to look at it because they said it was a different part that was needed that wasn't under warranty and that it would be $1800. We knew better. I took it to Zanesville Honda. Not only did they fix the part for free they also gave me a car from their lot to keep over night while they worked on our car. Today I took my Mazda in to have the information panel fixed because it keeps shutting off. They AGAIN charged me $130 because they said it isn't covered by warranty when I knew better because I already called the warranty company. Pioneer Honda Mazda in Parkersburg are extremely crooked! I will take it elsewhere and NEVER BE BACK. But, the BBB will know about this plus we already have emails exchanged with the Mazda company. Oh and they refused to let me talk to the technician that worked on my car. I called and they told me no. I went back to talk with him because maybe he didn't fully understand what it was doing and still REFUSED to let me talk to him. HORRID BUISNESS AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Went in to purchase a 2017 civic si. Everything went good with the deal but they told me I had to give them a actually start date for my employment. Did that. Loan company was still calling my phone because I still wasn t approved. Oh did I mention I had the car this whole time!? Ended up loosing my job. So I just decided to give it back because I was tired of dealing with them. They told me when I traded in my car before that I would be getting 4,000 for it. Brought the new car back and was told it was 3,000 plus my 1,000 down payment. Anyways I got told I would have the check last Friday well that has come and gone. Got told it would be first thing Monday morning and here we are still no sign of getting this check for $4,000!!! Definitely wouldnt do business with them. The whole experience has been a complete run around and lie! They will tell you anything to get you to buy a car!!!

Just bought a 2015 Camry Hybrid here this week and it was a wonderful experience. Dave Roy was the salesman and he was very friendly and laid back. Felt no pressure to buy the vehicle and ended up getting a great deal on a great car. Definitely recommend!!

Tried saying that we had to finance if we wanted to buy a car we weren t allowed to buy it in full which was understandable with the military discount but even if we did not take the discount so we did not have to finance we weren t able to pay in full. Lied about the price of the car they marked it up last second went somewhere else where we weren t made to finance and the price of the car was accurate.. You would think if you re going to buy a car in full that shouldn t be a problem.
