I had my car break down while away from home on a trip through the area, and the employees of this store, Amos and Sherry, were incredibly helpful in identifying what was wrong and getting me the battery I needed, cleaning off the old one and taking it, even getting wrenches and other tools to remove and put the new one in for me. Overall great experience! :)

on my way to vacation last month, I stopped for gas and found that my car wouldn't start. after getting a jump, I drove here, as it was the closest auto shop. I explained what was going on, and Brett was my savior. he tested my battery, installed a new one, and explained what he was doing. he didn't talk down to me (which as a woman at an auto parts store, that's almost a given) and he was so personable it was like hanging out with an old friend. calmed me right down. thank you Brett - hope all is well!

Some great and incredibly knowledgeable professionals work at the Oak Hill store. There are a whole bunch of motorheads that know their stuff that will take the time to walk people through complex jobs and are always willing to search long and hard for tough-to-find parts. Brian and John are both real standouts, because of them I don't even bother to go to other local parts stores. I once watched Brian go out to an elderly women's car and help her install spark plugs right in the parking lot when she explained to him she did not have the hand strength to remove them herself. Though it only took him 5 minutes as the plugs were easily accessible, she tried to pay him $40 saying that is what a local garage wanted to do the job. He refused the money and told her to put it into her next oil change or maybe some new wipers. So she came back to the store and bought that stuff immediately. That is the kind of dedication to a company, and just ingrained decency that you don't find anymore. Especially since most retailers treat their employees like easily replaceable widgets!I have witnessed Brian and John's patience in helping to train their younger co-workers to be just as helpful. These two guys have created a hell of a team atmosphere at this store for years. Though I don't know that either is technically considered a manager their leadership by example makes the store the best parts suppliers in our area for damned sure.I feel guilty in not mentioning a whole slew of them by name...for they are a really great bunch. But Brian and John always can be counted on to go above and beyond.

Donnie replaced a corroded battery and he spent nearly an hour on the problem. Replaced couple parts and got us on our way back on the road to Cincinnati. He was very helpful and kind. We appreciated all his time and effort and pleasant attitude. thank you!

Unprofessional knowledge they blame management seems they need to up their knowledge of mechanics instead of trying to just sale you a part that doesnt even fit your vehicle. Seems they need to look into the earlier days when the staff knew their way around as well as the people skills they had.If it's not in their system they would go to the books as well as help find you the parts even if it was from another auto parts competition!

Seems they are going stripclub instead of a parts store could use some professional employees standards for the female staffing, not very ladylike for her top to be unbuttoned for all to see or could be a way to have you come back , as for some of the other staff their knowledge of mechanical reference isn't much to be said for either seems your better off going online with this place as the prices are way expensive as well. No professional knowledge!

We were on vacation when our battery died. The young man tested my alternator and battery and discovered my battery was bad. I explained I was on vacation and didn't have any tools. He offered to install the new battery. In no time he had the battery swapped out and we were back on the road! The staff was friendly and helpful and we got a good price for a quality battery.

I had to stop by AutoZone early in the morning after I had to jump my battery. Cory P. helped me out right away by testing my battery and then replacing it with a new one. I was in and out in just a couple minutes and back out on the road. They saved me a lot of time and hassle. Will def. be back for any future car needs!

Been coming here since I was a kid, and they ve always been very helpful. I stopped in last weekend because I bought faulty bulbs at the AutoZone in Morgantown. I didn t know that this was the problem but Brian checked the bulbs for me, exchanged them and reinstalled the new ones. So kind and amazing customers service!

We were on our way from Belington Wv to Kissimmee FL,, July 30, one of our cars broke down had to have it towed in the middle of the night to this Auto Zone. We all slept in our vehicles due to all the hotels being booked. Here comes 7:30 am this heavenly store opened. They couldnt get the piece we needed. So a young man that worked there drove his truck to lowes/home depot/tractor supply not once but twice to get us the right part. He went above and beyond to help us. Im sorry i didnt get his name. But we very much appreciated this young mans help. You sir are #1 in our book. Thank you so very much. The Ramseys
