This is such a wonderful place to stay for your riding trips to Hatfield McCoy or surrounding Outlaw trails. It s situated on the highest point in McDowell County so the views are great in the day time and the stars are beyond description at night. The owners are what make this place home for me, Chris and Shana are proof there is still great people on this world.

I just wanted to update my experience with the owners of CMR. About four months ago I had some work done on my machine at this facility and made an unfavorable posting about them due to my misunderstanding of the work done. They, Chris and his wife, read the response and replied back with dignity however unfavorable my post. Well fast-forward to two weeks ago I had another issue with my machine, and brought it back to them for service again. Although they both remembered me, the incident, and the post, Chris and his wife both were very professional and respectful, serviced my machine beyond my expectations and did this at a fair price. Thank you both for your professionalism and excellent customer service. I appreciate all that you did and I respect your excellent reputation.

Best place we have stayed in the outlaw trails. Stayed at other places that are nice but the location here is best for us to have a good time and ride back home. Love the owners here, always make us feel like family.

Love everything about this place! The owners are awesome. They go out of their way to make sure you have a great trip. At the top of the mountain so not alot of random traffic.

You can t ask for a better couple to own and run this resort. Shana and Chris bend over backwards to help anyone! The store is full of all kinds goodies you might run out of or have forgotten. Chris is always there to fix a broken machine or rescue someone on a trail! Awesome people, awesome place.

Awesome place to stay. We were pretty much in the center of all the trails. Thank you for letting us bring our RV at such a great price. Plan to come back in the spring!

Great place to stay. The owners are awesome people who do what they can to make your trip incredible. Close to the trails and a lot of amenities for the price.

Up from Florida for the week. Our Can Am Defender decided it was time to let us down. These guys got us right in, quickly diagnosed our problem and got us back on the trail the same day. The following day our machine snapped a ball joint, tie rod, and axle shaft. They had the ball joint in stock and MADE A TIE ROD!Bottom line. The service is well worth the sketchy drive up the mountain. Highly recommend these guys!

This was our third time staying at CMR. We love the place so much! Everyone is very friendly & the bath house is clean. Can't wait for our next trip!

It is absolutely a beautiful place and the owners are pretty fantastic too.. they will help anyone with any Thing on fixing your equipment to just general knowledge... I recommend this place to all people who wants to have family time on vacation or just a bunch of friends coming to party and have fun It amazing to see how they have built the place up over the years.

Shana & Chris are the best and will help you out anyway possible. Trail accessibility is great, outlaws or Hatfield could not ask for a better place to stay !!!

Awesome place! The owners are great & the views are unreal. We will be back in the spring without a doubt, this is definitely our favorite and permanent place to stay from now on!

This is a great place to go camp and ride also has great accommodations for all. It is close to everything and great hosts and they will accommodate my box truck. Looking foward to another trip soon.

This place is so nice and the people there are great, they had the best fireworks and cook out ive been to in a very long time... everyone is so friendly, our tent got flooded from rain and everyone was offering us a place to stay and towels.. all and all if i could give 10 stars i would

Great place to stay. Owners are awesome and help fix ur machine if broke down. Best place to stay for the Hatfield and the outlaw trails.

Just Discovered this place on this trip to W.V. prolly my 200th trip looked like a nice place to camp and chill out! Had awesome views!! I found it bc I need some oil and the folks were most helpful! Thanks alot!!

Great place to get away from everything and hit the Hatfield and McCoy trails. Owners are kind and helpful. Great for first timers and hard cores.

Scary driving up the mountain for folks that aren't use to it! Friendly owners, nice cabins with many amenities, and great view.
