Car picked up and went over to release. Front desk nice people, kid walked over to car and kid was acting like I was going to steal something out of my own car. He must of gotten in trouble with his parents and was upset or something. Other than kid, everything smooth.

I have had past experiences with towing companies rummaging through my vehicle. The guys at Abbotts were very professional and honest. I'm very appreciative they were the ones that towed my car.

It was so exciting to me to see the record with the Autism ribbon. I was so excited. I had to call the company and found out so much information. They use it for autism awareness for events and parties. I will give them a 10 because the awareness is been given to the community.

They are very uncaring. My daughter was here from Ohio. She hit a chuck hole and had to wait for police officer. They finally showed up and her being unaware van had no insurance. It's her boyfriends van so it had all her personal belongings in it. They towed it. It's in others name not her. How unfair is that? She has no way back to ohio. And lost everything.

Car was picked up around 11am, driver told me he would call/text me the address of the shop. 2+ hours later, nothing. So I call wanting to know where's my car, the guy says "I'll give you their number, you can call them". I say, ok, go ahead. He then asks why I'm acting like an a-hole. I say, well maybe if your drivers did what they said they would DO. Swears at me & hangs up.GREAT. FRICKIN. COMPANY!!Service: Car towing

I thought I needed a tow and they came to my rescue quickly and efficiently. Turns out I only needed a jump but they were there for me. Eugene was friendly and even called around to get me the best deal on a battery. Their prices are very reasonable too. When I called their office for a receipt, they helped me out right away and sent it to me quickly. Would recommend 10/10.

4/4/23 Faith renewed in customer service! I was able to get my receipt with no charge. Thank you!!! I'm fair too... 5 stars (better than the original review a year ago)4/3/23 Contacted them about the receipt to submit to my insurance. I received a call back stating they don't take PayPal, like I'm making this up? Because this is so old, I have to pay $50 to the bookkeeper for giving me a duplicate and I gave all of the information necessary to locate it? In order to obtain the copy I need to show proof? Do they need the VIN number and registration to tow and put on the receipt? It's also the customer's responsibility to ask for a receipt...What happened to customer service? I paid $125 for the tow. Make this make sense.I originally gave 4 stars, I had to reduce it to 2 after the these calls.3/29/23 I called and the 1st time that I called, I was told that I couldn't obtain a receipt. I called back and was told to contact them Monday during business hours to get it.10/21/22 I had my car towed. Payment method Paypal credit card.A year ago, Chad was great! He helped my friend who called me with the S.O.S. The female dispatch was friendly and knowledgeable. Price for the jump was also reasonable.

Horrible customer service! Very rude, hateful, and disrespectful people! They won t even allow to get personal belongings out of vehicle! One thousand percent do not recommend!!!! I would have given 0 stars if that was possible!

Friendly and helpful drivers with every type of wrecker that might be needed to transport and vehicle. The lot is easy to access and the receptionist was very friendly.

I locked myself out of my truck at Walmart , and Charlie helped me ! I called at 3 pm and he was there by 3:15. The fastest service I ve ever gotten ( yes I ve done this a few times in my day) He unlocked my truck so fast and was a super sweet and helpful guy ! I was out of Walmart parking lot by 3:30 ! I called about having a hoopty towed from in front of my house. The gentleman explained that they don't offer personal property towing (or something of that nature, meaning that someone left their vehicle on my property, & I wanted it removed.) But he advised me of a couple of different places that did. Very polite guy.

Charged me 160 dollars to tow my car from South Charleston to St.Albans, way to much. Made me wait 40 minutes after I got out of car wreck and went to Hospital checking all the paperwork.

Great people... As long as you communicate with them they will work with you!!! Ive had to get my car out twice this year and both times I had to save money to get my car out and when they couldve charged me top dollar they didnt!!! Thanks!!!!

They dent your car, steal your valuables, and will take all your documentation and magically lose it or say they didn't have it and magically find it a few days later and still charge you those days THEY LOST OT to get your vehicle out. It's a scame, should be shut down and under investigation. It's a front for a drug ring going on there.

This place is one of the most horrendous towing companies in the area. During the process of towing my car from Oakwood Rd to their location in Nitro, Abbott's damaged the front end of my car so bad that it bent my hood to the point that it wouldn't close. Once I confronted them about the issue they say that it was like that when they went to get it. I know 100% that the front end was not in that condition. Also, when it came time to prove my ownership of the car and I told them my insurance and registration were in the glovebox. They pretended to go look, came back and told me it wasn't there, told me I'd have to get proof from the DMV and come back. All they wanted was to make an extra buck and refuse to take responsibility for damaging my car.

I don't really need to say much. Abbott's has always had a bad reputation. My most recent experience with them...they're still holding on to that bad reputation.

This towing company will find the most expensive way to tow your vehicle. They did not ask where we wanted the vehicle towed. They vehicle was wrecked within 4 miles of our home. They drove past our place and the vehicle was parked at their shop of 16 miles from our home. The intention is to get it into there tow yard so you can be charged a daily fee. A tow that would have cost 300 using charleston auto is doubled by Abbotts Towing at 600. I DO NOT recommend Abbotts Towing unless you own a bank.
