I wasn t sure about my purchase, as I told Gabe I d have to ask my wife. He told me who wears the pants in the relationship ? Come to find out, it was him! I couldn t retract the pen from the paper; I almost signed in blood. Visit Gabe, he ll make you feel like a man again.

For two years, at every maintenance appointment, I told them something was wrong and my car was making a noise. I didn t know what it was, I had no training. Sounded loud from the backside of my car. I asked them to check muffler/exhaust several times and they reassured me each time that nothing was wrong. Well, of course, the noise just got worse with time. I finally had to google/YouTube to find out what was wrong with my car, and turns out my wheel bearing was bad. Brought it to them, told them what was wrong .Why should I have to diagnose the car when I have no training? When I mentioned noise several times, questions should have been asked to diagnose the problem! When I do finally receive a quote to replace the wheel bearing, they want to charge me almost $1,000 for it! Now, having been all over YouTube and listening to mechanics discuss wheel bearings I know that wheel bearings don t cost that much. So I call around and get some quotes and find another dealership who will change it for approx $400. So to recap: years of not diagnosing a fairly easily diagnosable problem, me having to diagnose it for them, then an outrageous quote?? It s utterly ridiculous. I have never owned anything but a Toyota. But I will never return to University. There are other things that happened in the midst of this as well, but this was the icing on the cake.

Caleb Moore picked up on an internet search we did and contacted us stating he had found the car we wanted. He worked diligently with us to get the car to their lot and deliver the car to us. We live out of town and he accommodated our schedule for pick up. The process was very easy. Great customer service. I would highly recommend.

As seasoned car buyers, University Toyota exceeded our expectations. Caleb's expertise transformed the car-buying process into a seamless journey (he gets bonus points for being fun!), and JP's financial proficiency made the paperwork breeze by. University Toyota, where professionalism meets excellence. Five stars for a straightforward and satisfying car-buying experience!

My husband was looking for a new Tacoma in a specific color and trim. We found one online at University Motors. Caleb Moore contacted us from the search annd assisted us. He was the best salesman we have had throughout our many years of buying new vehicles. We are from out of town, so Caleb made sure everything was ready for us when we arrived to pick up the truck- fastest pick up ever. We highly recommend University Motors and Caleb. If we are ever in the market for a new vehicle again, we will be reaching out to Caleb and University Motors.

I was recently looking at buying a car at this location. I was hooked up with the general manager, Larry, to negotiate price. Not only did he not negotiate the price, he was rude and sarcastic over the phone. He insisted that I tell him what I was comfortable paying monthly for the car, and wouldn't negotiate the MSRP of the vehicle until I did. He then resorted to laughing at me and barely allowed me to speak. A true shame, because he cost his salesperson, Matt, a sale on a car. Matt was incredibly great to work with and I genuinely believed he was trying to get be the best deal.

My salesman, Gabe, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Camry I was interested in purchasing. The entire process was very fast. I got a great trade in price for my vehicle I was trading and Gabe was willing to work within my budget. All staff members were very friendly. Overall a great car buying experience!

So I was hearing a play in the back right rear of my wheel well. I wanted it checked out while I was going to get an oil change, so I decided to go to the dealership Toyota checked the back right wheel well, they told me it was a control arm issue after originally telling me I needed new bearings. However I took my RAV4 to Goodyear because I felt like Toyota was wrong, mainlyI felt every pothole I would drive over (it is West Virginia you are going to hit a pot hole) and I know that it has to do with shocks/struts. All that ended being wrong with the vehicle was a missing a bolt in my strut. If University Toyota would have actually jacked the car up they would have clearly seen that was the issue (Goodyear did that and even showed me what was wrong), which would explain why I was feeling every bump on that side.To sum this review up University Toyota was trying to get me to repair something that was not the problem. I still would have had the same issue of missing a bolt, which could have led to more expensive car repair at a later time (over 10,000 dollars).

if I could rate this place zero stars I would which is disheartening because I have went here several times and have zero problems UNTIL Rodney Lambert started working there I payed over $1,000 all for a tire rotation, inspection, and an oil change. He would not let me leave without paying the grand. He took advantage of me and my lack of knowledge of cars which is absolutely disgusting. I have seen multiple reviews also talking about how bad their experience is with him as well. Something needs done because I will NOT be returning until Rodney is taken care of.

Ashley was by far the best rental administrator I have ever have the pleasure of doing business with. She was able to get me into a rental car when no one else could. I cannot recommend this place enough. P.S. Don't waste your time with Hertz.

Update: I emailed the person who replied to this comment and did not get an answer. I called and asked for her and she had the manager call me. He offered me buy 3 tires get 1 for $1. Thought that was a nice consolation then found out they re basically always running that deal. When I went to have this performed the service advisor Rodney removed the labor cost to have the new tires mounted and balanced which I thought was nice.Wow pull up a chair. Wouldn t recommend this place to my enemy.Sold my 2007 Forester as it was getting older and wanted something reliable/low drama so bought a brand new 2023 Corolla in March.Took it in for the first oil change per the manual at 5,000 miles. The service guy didn t believe me it needed an oil change at that time despite me telling him it s in the manual. He said ya it just says that . Well after arguing with him and showing him paperwork they finally realized I was right and did the oil change.I also said others with the same car have run into issues getting the right oil as it takes a specific kind. He said we won t put the wrong oil in your car . Guess what they did. Put the wrong oil in the car. It also took two and a half hours despite having made an appointment.Car then misfiring badly until I pull over and turn it off and it resolves. Take it in and they say ya there was a misfire maybe it was bad gas. Why would bad gas make it suddenly misfire then suddenly not when I turn it back on again with the same gas in the tank?I then do my own oil change at 10,000 miles despite having Toyotacare because they are obviously clueless. When rotating my tires found the inside edges are down to the cords which seems unacceptable to me. Make an appointment to have it looked at and specifically tell them I don t want to pay for an alignment. They say sure, take it back, do an alignment, and try to charge me for it. After some arguing they cover the cost (all they did was slightly adjust front toe - four nuts). I ask what to do about the cost of replacement tires. They give me the run around and ask me to call corporate who then says call Michelin who then says call Toyota who then says call the dealer.I called the service manager twice and left a voicemail. I also sent an email. No reply to either. Also when looking for this car I stopped in and asked to see a Corolla hatch. They said they didn t have any but took my number and said they would call. 8 months later nothing. Ended up buying from another dealer.I was considering replacing my wife s Jeep with a Highlander. After this fiasco, there isn t a chance I would ever have a Toyota product in my house again. Especially not when University Toyota is my local dealer. What a joke

If you are seeking a new car dealership in Morgantown that prides itself on its honesty and integrity, I strongly encourage you to check out University Toyota on Don Knotts Blvd.Following a death in my family, I was seeking to dispose of a relatively new Toyota. After speaking with the financial institution holding the title, I settled on a course of action and put it in play. After a couple of days, I received a phone call from Andrew Hall of University Toyota. He told me who he was and the fact that he had spent considerable time tracking me down. He said he understood what I was attempting to do and suggested that he might have a better idea. He indicated that he had dealt with a similar situation in his family and just wanted to help. He understood the chaos that often accompanies an unexpected death and suggested that I try an alternative approach. His alternative approach saved my family member s Estate thousands of dollars. In doing so, he also reaffirmed my faith in the fact that there are a lot of good people in this world and Andrew Hall is at the top of my list.As I live in Charleston, SC, our business was conducted long distance. In spite of that fact, I have decided that the next time I purchase a vehicle, I am going to drive the 585 miles to Morgantown and buy it from University Toyota. I genuinely value honesty and integrity and I found it in Andrew Hall and his dealership.Bill GloverCharleston, SC

This place is a complete joke. Not once. Not twice. BUT THREE TIMES I have had issues with service. The first time they tore the fabric, second time they put stains on another part of fabric and this last time they messed with the parking brake.Besides that whatever young kid I had to deal with at service talked to me like I was stupid and didn t know what I was talking about. When I DID.Also if you don t want charged an arm and a leg for labor AVOUD THIS PLACE. $700 later.

Out of the many cars/trucks I've bought I've never had a more positive car buying experience. Salesman was to the point and super easy to work with. Put a deposit on it and while they were waiting on it the salesman regularly kept me updated. When it came in I was in and out of the store fairly quick. Super respectful of my time, all the paperwork was ready and it was just as simple as reading and signing... Also they throughly went over all the features so I actually knew what all the buttons do from the start.. I've had some horrible car buying experiences with other toyota dealerships but after this great one I'll for sure be calling these guys first when I'm in the market for another toyota..!

Got a 2023 brand new Tacoma from University Toyota, all made simple and easy thanks to the help of Caleb Moore. He provided me with his own cell phone number and was available at all times for any questions. He constantly kept me updated on the truck's status up until the second I drove it off the lot. He walked me through the entire process, which was all new for me as this was my first financed car. Don't hesitate to get a car from here. They have an established reputation and their entire team is great. They even got my car registered and took care of the license plates! Reach out to Caleb if you need a car!

Recently bought a RAV4 and didn t realize it didn t have the front license plate mount and the dealer now refuses to mount it unless we pay 80 dollars. 37K or a car and they can t mount a license plate mount without overcharging.

Wonderful experience working with Zane at UT. Very professional, easy to reach (including by text message), and answered all of my questions. They let us bring the vehicle home to try it out before deciding on the purchase!! Being able to bring it home, put the car seat in, try it out for a day and night and make sure it was a good fit was amazing. Thanks UT for the top notch customer service.

Service was professional, helpful, and expedient even though my appointment was double booked with another (from no fault of the dealership; this was an issue with the Toyota app). I especially enjoyed the transparency of the inspection report, as well as the accompanying videos from a service technician. This simple service gained by trust and built confidence that my truck was getting the right service.

Update..... their agent reached out and provided a credit.Ive had my fair share of issues with University toyota. Had my brakes (front and back) replaced around June 23rd. One of the mechanics forgot to replace a bolt on the back left tire. I ended up taking it elsewhere to have it fixed.

A great car purchase experience with Daniel. The staff was friendly and prompt. No pushy sales pitch. Extremely helpful setting us up to drive off the lot. Also awesome Umotors swag.

From the moment I inquired about my new Rav4 on Saturday until the time I picked it up on Wednesday, the staff at University Toyota, and Caleb in particular, could not have been more helpful. Caleb stayed in close communication with me in regard to all aspects of purchasing the vehicle, from informing me of availability to the test drive to financing and then keeping in touch as to when the vehicle would arrive on the lot. I'm confident that he got me the best deal on my trade-in and purchase I could have gotten, and I would highly recommend him and the staff to anyone looking to purchase. I'd also like to give a shout out to the lady (but can't remember her name) who walked me through all aspects of the vehicle itself and how it worked. Thanks for a great experience overall!

I called the dealership about a used Tundra I saw online. I got connected to Caleb M., and he filled me in on the truck's details. I had a 90-minute drive to get there from outside Pittsburgh, and Caleb was willing to switch his days off to accommodate me finding someone to drive down with me. The purchase experience was painless. Caleb and the rest of the staff were very helpful. They answered all my questions and were a pleasure to deal with. Very happy with the entire experience.

5 stars does not do our experience justice. We had an emergency and needed a rental to get to Pittsburgh. Ashley, the professional who helped us with our rental, was very kind and personable. She went out of her way on more than one occasion to help us out. Great big shout out for awesome service and general kindness! Thank you! Highly recommend this dealership!

I can t tell you how many times I ve told them to stop emailing me and instead email the appropriate family member of their car service updates. They will not do so, and I have no idea why.
