Visiting their garage, which I affectionately refer to as the "Car Temple," I immediately felt the warmth of their golden-hearted team. In October 2023, when my Range Rover suffered an engine failure, I turned to them for help. Their response was outstanding; they embraced me with open arms and addressed my issue with a traditional, customer-focused approach. Their commitment to prioritizing the customer's needs, coupled with their ability to adapt to any situation, undoubtedly earns them a 5-Star rating from me. My wife's car was damaged by road debris and the towing service towed the car to Modern Masters. The next morning Rusty, with Modern Masters, gave us a visual assessment the damage and was cooperative as we decided to engage a transport company to move the car home for the ultimate repair. He also told us that his onsite surveillance cameras indicated that the towing service had damaged his property and improperly unloaded the car when delivering it to Modern. We appreciate Rusty's friendly cooperation, honest assessments, the added information and his willingness to allow the car to remain at Modern pending pickup. Many thanks, Rusty.

This is a warning to all who want to bring their car here.January 2023 I brought my C63 in for an engine rebuild. I was told to pay a deposit upfront and work will get started immediately. After many attempts at contact and many excuses and lack of communication work finally began in July 2023, My car sat outside in the elements for 6 months. The vehicle was completed in September of 2023. Upon receiving the car visible smoke was emitting from the exhaust and an audible ticking noise was present. The car is burning oil on top of all that and has wiring issues (that they fixed supposedly). After many attempts to contact Craigand ask him to look at the car he dismissed many of these issues as normal, ignored my pleads and messages and pretty much told me it s not his problem. I took the car to a Mercedes dealership and they confirmed the car burns 3qts every 500 miles and they have found metal in the oil meaning something is disintegrating internally. I will most likely need a new motor yet again. Overall a horrible experience and the owner Craig is not to be trusted.

SO POORLY RECOMMENDED, but I'm stupid for trusting anyway. These are self imagined, self named masters? It appears monthly, someone's screwed over. RESEARCH! Maybe deception masters? DEEPLY unconscionable behavior witnessed, but it's already in the name! Read disputes; impossible at a reputable place. Mechanic reputation spreads like FIRE for cause. JUST LOOK! My issue proves how good they are for their word. Can I slap my name on Chinese stuff, saying I'm your master? I have proven RECKLESS ROOKIE HIGH SCHOOL MISTAKES! Anyone with a right-conscience won't be caught in so many disputes unless warranted. THINK! Read, the we don't even know who you are! So many complaints they lose track? So, in order to deflect, they can't recall you exist? Great tactic! Damage control before conscience? Word is out, and these disputes aren't petty. These aren't cheap rides, so you shouldn't be taking yours to any but a certified mechanic wearing your car emblem on their chest, or you'll get what you deserve. The incidence of breaking stuff worse seems self-evident. Many are typical upselling mechanics seen in undercover news reports, no car badges on their uniforms. Hey, wear a wire, make your own story! Dont blow your ride on storage fees and sneaky contracts you won't read, or you'll be mocked for thinking it wise. Ignore placating diversion, claiming you're the only customer who...Read the script! The goal isn't about your car if they pull that. See what imagining oneselves to be actual masters will do when the world already has an ancient one to see all truth revealed. It's already underway. Look! Oh, nobody wronged me? MODERN.MASTERS DESTROYED BY CAR BY A ROOKIE MISTAKE THEN DENIED IT. If you catch ONE LIE, they're not credible in eyes of the law. See if you spot ONE in the reviews and judge character. Lies will never work, they forget and its easy to read! If I perjured, litigate! This is how you know I speak truth. My car, as a fact, was destroyed by modern masters. Fact. Discovery and interrogatories are a beautiful thing. Dishonesty NEVER REWARDS. Not one of these types make it, do they?

I recently moved here from Texas and went in there With my seven-year-old son for an wv state inspection, Keep in mind, I have passed every inspection prior in the state of Texas and Florida, and have kept my car up-to-date mechanically, I asked her how much it would be for the inspection in her words were if you pass it s $14 They brought my car inside their shop and shut the door and lifted my car on a lift and had it for about 25 minutesFirst was told I failed Automatically because a small little pea sized chip on windshield was An automatic fail in the state of West Virginia andThen I was told your driver axle is leaking all over. It needs to be replaced immediately another fail.I was told my battery strap was loose . I was in sent an email a few days later with an invoice for almost $800 for just the axle and a tire alignment and they placed a failed sticker on the side of my car.I went to two other state inspection and auto shops And both were confirmed my axel was not needing to be replaced or Leaking as well as my battery strap was not loose and not a reason to fail me. Also, the little small chip on my windshield wasn t even the size of a quarter, and was not an automatic fail in the state of West Virginia for that size.. I m just letting people know that with inflation right now and being a parent, I almost went and spent almost $1000 just to get my car passed by state inspection And I ve also could ve gotten pulled over and received a citation on top of it with the failed sticker. This is just my experience, but I hope that people are not getting failed just for some business. Luckily my car was approved by the state And the most I needed was an oil change.

So I went to Modern Masters to get my vehicle fixed upon getting a diagnostic done found out I need a new engine as I have to wait to save for the new engine as it's a lot modern Masters has waived the diagnostic fee. Never had that happen before. I will definitely go back with the same vehicle to get the motor swapped and after for work on the vehicle and will let others in the area to do so. They really saved me on this on. Love those guys. The staff is really knowledgeable and nice.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

An unusual circumstance, I was in the midst of a move and had to drop my BMW off not knowing when I could pick it up. Obviously that was good for the guys too because they could check my car out when it was convenient for them. To make a long story short, my son picked up my car from them and I finally got to test drive it on a 1300 mile trip. New clutch and its parts and the clutch slave cylinder. I actually got a little bonus too. Excellent work. My car is amazing. All at a fair price. Do I expect them to work for free, of course not?? I paid what the invoice total was. I'm a customer now. Local men doing a good business. Support them and your community.

Could not be happier with Modern Masters. My 2012 C63 engine blew up and a very large Mercedes dealership that I had been loyal to couldn t get the new engine to run correctly for 2 months due to some of the some mods. The person who built the replacement engine in MN knew craig at modern masters and told me to bring it there. They got it all figured out and fixed many of Mercedes mistakes in a couple weeks. They are an hour and a half from me and I m taking my car back there from now on for whatever it needs. The drive is worth the quality of work, customer service, and prices. Far less expensive than a dealer and they are more qualified. What more could you ask for?Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Modern Masters went above and beyond to complete my AMG. With parts not showing up I ordered myself turning my project intona nightmare, they did not charge me storage or lift time for all the unfortunate inconveniences I have caused them (not by choice). I'm grateful they were able to work with their parts supplier vrp and get me the parts I wanted and needed to obtain my personal goals! Thanks guys and thank you Rachel for keeping me informed and dealing with all my questions! Next time I'm letting these guys handle everything from the beginning!

Unbelievable, Don't make a MISTAKE choosing wrong business like me.I sent my BMW 430i convertible 2doors 2018 there SINCE November 2021 again November 2021 because it couldn't start.Until NOW, MAY 2023. ONE and A HALF years.THEY STILL KEEP MY VEHICLE with NO IDEA for the issue (stated by the mechanic working on this car).No update, no return call.Every time I call the front desk lady said mechanic and boss on lunch break, never call back. 1-2 hours waiting. Then I called back she said they went home, call again they're on vacation ect. Never can get answer.Face to face to the owner ONE timein January 2023 at Modern Master shop.He said HE would CALL me back next Monday to let me know the last chance testing out if it's not running that's all he could do. (Stated by the owner in front of their security camera in the office)NEVER HEARD anything back from HIM since that time. No phone call makes by HIM to either me or my husband.He totally disappeared in this case. His own business, kept customer VEHICLE over years, act like not get involved in it. DID NOT keep his own WORDS.In April, called again still couldn't get any direct answer for my basic questions "can you fix it or not? Just let me know I can send to different shop. How much longer it needs to sit there? Can I talk to the one in charge of it?" Nope. No luckThe front desk lady could not give any answer said the car still in diagnosis. And threatened me if I frustrated she hung off the phone.She couldn't answer my simple question that meant I frustrated? I don't have my RIGHT to know what's going on with my VEHICLE?But no-one in charge of that business in business hours to give me the answer?Just like that YEAR by YEARmy car's still there with no hope.Last time I told that lady If they can't find the issue I would come pick it up send to different place.She said I had to pay the balance $1,600 moreif not she would not release it.It makes no sense, they can't fix itand I still have to PAY for the JOB NOT DONE?Even that my car still under warranty and I paid for special care from Maxcare also.If it go to shop just have to pay the deductible only.I contacted Maxcare and FOUND out Modern master has NEVER been filed the claim send to Maxcare or CONTACTED them.Called Mordern MAster back, Front desk Lady said because THEY COULD NOT FINISH the JOB so they can't file the claim.At very beginning she made me paid over $1,400 to put in 1cable cost $48 dollars in the engine that they thought that cost the problem (but it's not)SHE Said the Warranty NOT Cover it.That's totally wrong information.She has NEVER contacted the warranty company.Legally she CANNOT make decisions for the warranty company.Her job is to turn it in if they denied that's on them not on her to say yes or no.And Maxcare's been trying to call Modern Masters many times with no one answer or get back to them.It's totally wrong to run the business and lies to customer like that, very unprofessional.Boss don't want to deal straight with customers to solve the problem.Mechanic has no clue what wrong with that car looking around for help.Desk lady makes a lot of mistakes, try to cover her fault by ripping off customer pockets.Until now since Last time my husband TALKED to mechanic guy A MONTH AGO.He said he would CALL my husband back the Very Next Day no matter whatto Update and get permission if we agreed for them to transfer to different shop or not.Still Have NOT Heard anything back. Another lies!For all my lost in almost 2 years without my VEHICLE my TRANSPORTATION.They treat customers care like a JOKE.Please someone tells me when can I have my VEHICLE back?How much more time I need to keep it in silent, patient or wait for my luck?Again it's a BMW 2018. Need update information from MODERN MASTERS since November 2021. Is it possible to fix? If it's over your hands, that's fine let my warranty company take care of it.PEOPLE hope no-one has to deal with it like me. From my Experience!

Around 80-90k miles my car cut off on me. Had it towed to them to get my extended warranty to cover things needed, after I picked my car up I noticed that one of my concerns was still occurring after repairs were made. Took it back 2 times after that until they said that they weren t covering anything further. Had them tear my transfer case apart for piece of mind given the nature of one concern I had and I now changed the fluid in it myself at 120k. Realized they put the wrong fluid in my transfer case. Won t be returning.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Very good service and communication. They gave us a discount due to being a Verterans which was helpful. Got my family's 2 car back on the road safe and under budget. We now are able to go back to 2 cars and make more money which will help our family. Rachel was very helpful and the mechanics knew what they were talking about. Craig and rusty are very skilled and got my car in and out for a rear differential fuel change. It was done right car feels great these guys are the onlyPeople I trust to touch my vehicle. They re very respectful, very professional, know what they re doing! I will 100% come back to them for any other future work I need done. And on top of that they don t brake your bank like other places to they have a very clean shop! I would suggest anyone that needs work done to go to them!!

Took my Mustang in for a rear-end rebuild and new driveshaft install and I couldn't be happier with the results. Have been driving it around for a few weeks now and no issues at all. Craig and Rusty treated the car like it was one of their own and provided me with updates on the work. They did not joy ride my car or abuse it in any way, unlike some of the dealerships around here. If you are looking to get aftermarket modifications done at a reasonable price you won't find a better option.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Absolutely exceptional service provided by hardworking and honest guys. I have been to numerous dealerships and shops in the tristate area and haven't been nearly as happy with the treatment as I have had with Craig and Rusty. My family and myself have been taking all our vehicles to them for over 5 years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend them for all of your automotive needs.

ALWAYS GOOD WORK! Never look under the hood again to see if the tech put everything back together correctly. I have 3 high mileage vehicles that I want maintained properly. I m 57 years old and over the years I have tried various repair shops and experienced various degrees of dissatisfaction. Since I started with Rusty 5 years ago, I have always been satisfied. His knowledge of automotive repair is immense. Now that Rusty has partnered with Craig and opened Modern Masters , the competition will be left in the dust. Good work. Good prices. Good people.

Rusty is very knowledgeable. He pointed out that the pervious shop who took my after market rims off didn't take the spacers off causing my wheels to be loose. That could have had a different outcome if left unnoticed. Thankful that he recognized that issue and took care it. The Modern Masters team is one of vast knowledge and professionalism. Craig and Rusty have my absolute trust when it comes to working on my vehicles, and they keep me coming back for more, happily. I just had the AC in my 98 A4 fixed, it blows colder than my 2016 GTI. They have basically restored my Audi over the last year and have really added some great upgrades to the VW. If I never found Rusty or Craig, I would have a boring drive everywhere I go, not to mention I would've spent a fortune elsewhere. They will always have my business and my vehicles in their garage as long as they are around. Also, huge hats off to them for constantly upgrading the shop and keeping customers in the loop by running a great social media platform. This is how business should be done. You'll never meet a harder working team that strives to make their customers so happy!

I went to visit modern masters not too long ago to figure out why my radio wasn't working in my car. Rusty was able to determine what the issue was for me. Craig and rusty are both very friendly and polite people. They will treat you like family and give you fair and reasonable prices. great people and great service. rusty and Craig are very knowledgable with cars and especially AMG's but good with any car. i had long tube headers put on my E55 AMG with cooling mods bigger heat exchanger pulley and more. all is working well. great shop and good people. A+++++++++

Steer clear if you can. Rude owner, can t even help you or answer questions. And I hear they do business with VRP who gets horrible cheap products from China that doesn t fit correctly and provides zero customer service. Buy American made only, and go to shops that respects paying customers.

Took my C63 AMG in for a quick diagnosis, not only was it complementary but it was quick and they found the problem very quick. They fixed the vacuum leak and new spark plugs and I'm back on the road! Professional and amazing quality! I definitely recommend!

Had some misfires going on and reached out to Craig. Long story short he managed to get me in the SAME DAY to get the car looked at.They ended up figuring the issue out within a couple of hours and got the part I needed ordered, and got me out the door quickly. No complaints. The responsiveness was also there, which I value in customer service/support. Would recommend.
