Absolutely wonderful place with an amazing owner and employees, always ready to help you, takes care of your car like it s their own, and has NEVER ripped me off or tried to sell me something I didn t need like so many others in Martinsburg. They re the only place I ll take my car forever. (And the always attentive customer support team of shop cats are the best!!!)

After moving several hours away from my little hick town to Martinsburg and not really having an auto repair facility to go to where I knew everyone there I was told about Cupp's Automotive from an extremely reliable source about this place. Walking in I felt like I knew everyone there and visa versa but I was immediately taken care of. After seeing the equipment and watching the techs getting things done I knew that I found my new home especially with the two gorgeous mascots waiting for me to come in and welcome me. Oh yeah and it's 3 minutes from my home. I'll definitely be dropping my car's off once the weather gets warmer. For oil changes to front end alignments and everything in between.I normally don't post reviews but I felt obligated to tell everyone about this place where you're name and satisfaction is more important than your money.I'm definitely a Cupp's customer from now on.

They are terrible! I had a blown head gasket and charged me over $400 to not fix the problem. There was too much coolant and what did they not do? Replace the thermostat like they claimed and filled my already overfilled coolant reservoir. Terrible business and they will scam you and claim to fix problems but won t.

Really great place.....whenever something goes wrong with my car they always are able to solve it. My transmission went out and they found a used transmission within a few hrs and put it in in the estimated amount of time quoted to me I've been a customer there for 17 yrs and I will always suggest them to anyone I come across! :)

I have been to Cupps on several occasions. Get my inspections and oil changes there. It's always nice to visit with the cats and oh yes the humans who provide customer service are good too. Next time you visit bring the cats a treat.

Got state inspection done here is like 10 minutes. Good to set up a time kuz they are kinda busy.

The people who work here are so genuine and down to earth. They were so helpful and even if their day is full they will take time to help you out the best they can. Special thanks to Terry for his great personality and willingness to help. (Love the critters)

Did a thorough state inspection to keep me safe on road. Needed to get some new tires and brakes few other things done. Cupps fit me in for a reinspect quickly and fit me in for alignment done next day even though they were really busy.

5/5 stars! Went in cause I had an oil leak and thought it was the gasket going bad. Lifted it up and found out it was just a hole in my oil filter! Saved me $$$! Very reasonable and extremely fast!!!!Great communication and customer service.Will never go to another shop for any car repairs.They replaced the transmission, cat system, EGR, and fuel rail sensor. They had to get parts from Winchester.Still done in 24 hours!Runs and sounds like newServices: Exhaust, Engine repair, Transmission replacement

I am very grateful to have my car fixed properly but I was not very thrilled that Cups made the decision on their own to add an additional repair without calling me to verify that I wanted them to make an additional repair to my vehicle and then charged me for it. Yes, it wasn t much of a price difference but a phone call would have been nice to let me know what s going on. What if I didn t have enough money to pay for the additional repair that was done without my knowledge??Service: General repairs & maintenance

It can be challenging to find a shop that is honest and transparent, but I lucked out when I took my car here. I will only go here for my car repairs. These folks truly do an amazing job and are very polite. They have provided excellent service every time I've been in. Thank you so much!

Traveling from Canada to Florida, my car broke down. I was able to get it to Cupp's Automotive. They were kind enough to get my car in immediately to complete an assessment. The assessment made was correct yet they did not specialize in this type of repair and offered up two locations for servicing. Cupp's Automotive didn't even charge me for the assessment. My family was so grateful for their honesty, exceptional service and kindness during a stressful time. I would highly recommend them!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Rented a uhaul here days prior to picking it up and they didn t put key in box. Tried to call and dispute it and gentleman kept hanging up saying call uhaul. When they are the ones who didn t put key out.

These folks are FANTASTIC! They got our daughters car in on a Saturday morning and diagnosed, repaired, and performed a state inspection!All completed by 12:30!! Great customer service , and friendly. They did work on my car and I get my inspections done here. Not one bad word to say about them. They are a very busy automotive shop and do lots of work. So be patient and don't criticize.

From Oct 2019: The woman at this location was very warm and welcoming! She gave very good directions on everything, from insurance to gas. My family and I have moved several times and she is by far the best person we have rented a U-Haul from, not to mention the U-Haul was very clean. If we need another U-Haul in the area, we will definitely return to this location. I recommend you do the same!I am posting here because I realized it didn't post to the Cupp's Auto review page, only to the U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer one.

I brought my truck in with a check engine light on. After three repairs and three different sensors they said that they could not find why it was still sending a code. As I was driving it home the muffler fell off. They could tell sensors were bad but not that the truck needed a muffler. 0-10 wast of time. Yet again, Cupp's has provided excellent service and a great turn around time. Best mechanic around. Always very polite and they don't talk down to you like other mechanics around here do. Took my car in for an inspection, and they failed it for the brake pads and back tire. I believed them on the pads, but decided to get a second opinion because I had just replaced all four tires a couple months before. The second shop didn t mention one thing about the tire (It s in good shape), and charged me about 80 bucks less for the brake job than what Cupp s offered. It can be hard finding an honest mechanic, and this absolutely isn t one of them. It s a shame really, because some of the guys there were actually quite nice.Services: Tires, Brakes

Wanted to have them look at an issue with a tailpipe bracket and after being on hold for awhile I was told to just leave the car there and they would eventually look at it. I am currently taking care of a small child and do not have another car so just leaving it there and walking away to Narnia for the day was not an option. Not getting any of my business.

I purchased a vehicle from one of his customers that couldn't be fixed. Upon loading it on my trailer I noticed that the catalytic converter had been cut-off by the owner of Cupps.He promised to replace it and it's now going on 6 months and have received nothing but excuses. Please be AWARE when you take your vehicle to this establishment
