Bear s has always gone above and beyond to help me service my vehicle. Some garages simply won t service my vehicle (an old, confusing German car) but they ve always done everything they can to keep me safe on the road. All this, at an affordable price and decent turnaround. Highly recommend to anyone!

These guys always do a great job. This is truly a local business. This family is very involved in the local community . We take all 4 of our vehicles here to get worked on and they handle all of the seasonal preventative maintenance . Their prices are always fair and they have the work completed in a reasonable time frame. We are always happy with our experience.

Needed a new water pump. They recommended a new timing belt so I paid for a new timing belt. Truck ran ruff after getting it back. Took it to a new shop, not only did they NOT put a new timing belt on they broke 2 tabs off the timing cover. They had the timing advanced on 1 cam and retarded on the other. Never again.

Have been going to Bears for years and am devastated when I sometimes have to use the dealership because Bears is so busy. My MIL had a medical scare completely unrelated to the service we were getting. Sarah made a special point to reach out and check on her afterwards. Ernie is honest and very hardworking. 10 stars.

Bear's has a certain standard that no other repair and tire shop has. My husband's first time going to Bear's was for a hole in our tire. Ernie met my husband with great hospitality and patched our tire for free. Truly, a life saver. We will be back. Thank you!!!

Best deal of six for a set of tires for my daughter's vehicle. Very polite, responsive employees obviously care about their reputation. Work was scheduled, and completed quickly and two weeks later, no issues encountered. Definitely recommend

The customer service over the phone and in person was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. This is the place to come for fast service. They did excellent work. Their repairs were reasonably priced. In this high inflation market I was thankful for not being overcharged. They did an excellent job. I will come back again with any vehicle I have.

We ve been taking our vehicles to Bear s for years now. They treat us well and I never worry about being taken advantage of. Sarah Beth is quick to respond when I need to get a vehicle in and she always answers my questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend not to support this business. They refuse to repair my vehicle damaged by the mechanic. They do unsatisfactory work poor service. They don't even answer phone calls made to thier business. Terrible mechanic and service.

I trust the staff at Bear's with my vehicle & my son's vehicle to take care of all our vehicle's needs and repairs. We have been bringing our suv's to them for years now. Friendly greeting, great service. I trust & the guys & gals, they really know what they are doing. They are great, I wouldn't trust any other place to fix our vehicles!. These gents work fast, are friendly, and very fair in price. I had never been here before but when my normal guy couldn't get me in as soon as I'd hoped, a friend recommended Bear's. 30 minutes of kindness, patience, and "Kitty Love" pet therapy may be enough to make me jump ship. Great job guys....Thanks for making me feel like we've known each other for years. As a woman, that was comforting.

If you re looking for a place that won t just take your money and want to help keep your car on the road for as long as possible, then this is the place to go. They did a great job on fixing my tie rod and brakes. I will for now on always go here. They don t mind giving you advice and they make sure your vehicle is safe for the road. They also have a great rate and deserve so much more. Thank you Bear s Repair& Tire service for keeping my one vehicle for the family on the road. Blessed!!

I had my Ac compressor go out and had a mechanic quote me almost double. Besrs installed a new compressor It took almost a week because the first ac compressor they received was damaged. The second compressor was received 4 or 5 days later and installed, but still no cold air. I was told seems like something is wrong in the dash, I should take it to Toyota see what they say. So I took it to Toyota and They called me 24 hrs later to say the compressor I just had installed was faulty and I needed a new compressor. I called bears and they told me to get the report from the Toyota tech and bring the part back they would get the ball rolling on a refund. I would have to go through the district manager to receive my money back. The reason I m not blasting them on here is because they were professional about the matter and very reasonably priced. Even though it didn t work out and the part ended up being faulty so far I m not upset in the way they ve handled it and would still use the in the future. Hopefully I can get the refunded money in a timely manner as it is quite an expensive job . Will post update as to how long it took to receive back money for job. Should not take terribly long seeing as i did pay cash for the work.

Worst garage I ve ever been to. Took my car there to have my car serviced and they didn t fix my problem. Then when I took my car back to them to have them fix the original problem they still didn t fix it. So I took my car to another garage and they told me the parts were put in incorrectly and one of the parts that was replaced didn t work. They also throughout my old parts so I couldn t verify that they did change my parts. I personally do not recommend this place

They were amazing! We were traveling during the holidays and got a flat tire. We tried calling two different places and they said they couldn t even get us in until late in the afternoon. My toddler was asleep in the back and they said I could leave her in there asleep! They had us back on the road within 20 minutes!

I had the Younger Toyota provide my free oil change and they always suggest repairs. This time was replace shocks/struts (leaking), replace air filters, alignment, and other minor repairs. The estimate was close to 1k. I took the recommendations to Bears to perform the same work for about 400.00 cheaper. When I picked up my Tundra I was surprised to find they recommended no replacements and said everything was in proper working condition. They cleaned filters and had a second mechanic inspect the observations. I was then shocked when they said there was no charge for the labor, inspection, and charge for ordering the specific parts. They could have been dishonest and made the repairs but they DID NOT!!! This is a testimony to honest people doing business in the same community they live in. I would strongly suggest their services for auto repair, not only for their expertise, but their honesty. Way to go Bears Repair.

Very simple mechanic, very good and respectful. Unfortunately I took my cousin's car she didn't want work done for now. I do recommend him. He needs some serious help with his shops clutter and trash!

What a totally pleasant surprise. I had a 9:30 appointment and they drove my car into the bay at 9:30. Second surprise was when I paid the bill there were no add-ons. Nice people, great service. They'll get all my business.

I recently broke down on my way to Tennessee from Pennsylvania. Not knowing anyone in the area, I found Bear's Auto Repair. From the receptionist at the front to the mechanics, each treated me with friendliness and honesty. Being a woman broken down and needing help quickly, I wasn't too sure of the outcome. But, I couldn't have been happier! They got my vehicle in quickly and soon had me back on the road and all within a more than reasonable fee.

Went in because I started hearing a grinding and Bear ended telling me it was my tie rod. He claimed that on my 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe I would require a body shop and he referred me to a place close to town. I worked night shift at the time so it took 2 weeks just to make an appointment at this body shop who told me Bears is always sending them bunk jobs that are mis referred and most likely work Bear just doesn t want to do. Months later Ameritec did the tie rod job in no time under budget. I am a female and I would warn others, male, female and all other identifiers to steer very clear. I waited while my tie rod job was done and I assure you body work was not required.

Excellent auto repair garage. Over 50 years of experience and location is very easy to access. Prices are comparable if not lower than most in Martinsburg. They work on cars, trucks, vans and SUV's. They also are a West Virginia licensed auto inspection garage. It is a 2 bay garage. Has parking for customers only. Call for appointments for both repairs and inspections for they have a great deal of business.

Great people, very knowledgeable, and decent prices. I can t say enough good things about Bear s. They are by far the best auto shop around. I ll keep going back for all my mechanical needs. Extremely happy with them.

Asked for front brakes. Once I got my car back still heard grinding. Called and was told us just keep driving and rust should wear offTook car forInspection on Saturday and failedBrakes were down to the metalWill never trust this shop again! My children ride in that car

I just brought the car in because my brakes were acting terribly! Come to find out just air in the line. They could have told me anything. It's hard to find a trust worthy mechanic and being new to the area I just took a chance. Glad I did!
