My mother used to use them years back when she used to lived there, so when she needed her car inspected I took it there .They told me both lower ball joints needed replacing. So I asked them for an estimated price. And they said $500I told them I would be leaving and getting a second opinion.I got a quote off $350 so I told them to go for it.They start to work on it a said they couldn't find any play in the ball joints.So I told them to go ahead and do the work so I don't have to worry about it for awhile.

I've been going to Haines since I moved to the Inwood area in 2016! They're knowledgeable, reasonably-priced, and are great to their customers.

Every time we have been here for an inspection they've been rude. Just went for an inspection and they rejected my car for my window tint, even though they've passed it every single year before!! My tint didn't get darker and the laws have not changed. Only reason I didn't argue is because my horn wasn't working at the time!!

I was driving home to NY from NC. I d been to a funeral for my brother in law. It was a horrible snow storm. I was alone and it was 1 am. A light came on advising me to stop immediately. I got off at thr first exit I came to. Nothing there, so continued up 81 to next exit and got a motel room. Once inside I looked up car repair shop in Inwood.. Haines was less than 2 minutes away n opened at 8 am. I called ar 8:03. He said to bring it right in. As I turned into his shop, my car died. He got it in and in 1 hour I was back o. Road My Alterator belt was broke in two. I am so grateful to the men at Haines. They were awesome and in was less than $150 dollars. I was a Single women, traveling alone, He could have charged me anything and I would have paid him. So thankful that someone was looking out for me n guided me to Haines garage.

Great Service. State inspections are quick amand easy. Honest!When we first moved to WV, 14 yrs ago, one of out trucks needed to have some work done before it could pass inspection. Haines Service was honest and let us know they would not be able to fix the problem in the time allowed for a failed inspection. They referred us to someone who had the parts we needed at a reasonable price. This was appreciated since we did not know anyone.

Extremely disappointed in this place. Had anti freeze leak and steering making a noise when wheel turned all the way to the left. They found the leak and replaced a hose. Told me the steering was the rack and pinion going bad and would have to go to the dealer for repair. Problem was when I dropped truck off it was steering just fine after they did whatever to it you could not steer it. Had to have it towed to dealer. They claimed it just went bad while they had it. I don t buy that but not much I can do. I will definitely never go back. Also $276.00 to buy and replace top radiator hose and to look at steering issue. Not cheap at all. Overpriced and overrated. I took truck there because they had good reviews and 4 star rating.

While driving home my transmission coolant line disconnected. Stuck on the highway in the wee hours of the morning. I had my truck towed to Haines. I called when they opened to explain what happened and the presence of my vehicle and they assured me they would be able to look at it that day.Not only did they look at it but they replaced my clamps, my belt, and straightened out a problem I was told was impossible quite easily for a great price. They also had it ready for pickup after test drives a few hours before they closed. I will definitely be coming back for more service.

Short n Sweet _ First time I've taken my car here, they are very friendly and made time for me. The crew very knowledgeable the service was AWESOME!!! Don't waste your time at Miller's Jeep Chrysler of Martinsburg, WV.

I brought my car in after I got stranded on the side of the road. I told them I thought it was either a transmission or overheating issue, but that I didn't know enough about cars to know. They wrote down what happened before the breakdown. They called back and said it was just a "glitch". Nothing wrong with car. Came to pick up the car. It broke down 2 miles down the road. Took is back. Over $500 worth of work later, the car didn't want to start up when I turned the key. Made another appointment. They looked at it again and said there was no problem, but gave me a tow truck card for in case. Really? Of course I broke down again. The receptionist blamed me as she said I didn't diagnose the problem properly - as if I was the mechanic. Had to have the car towed from there to a different repair shop. Very disappointed.

Always hate car repairs. Who doesn't ? Still swear by Haines. Comforting to know I have a place to go from the mt. Close by and progressional. Prices are very fair.

Great honest service. I was told by the Toyota dealership that I needed a new Catalytic Converter at $1300.00. Went to Haines Service Center for a 2nd opinion. I do not need a new. My new car people are now Haines.

Boyfriend typically brings his truck there because they do great work but after this last experience we are unsure now. Brought in a ford truck to have shocks and mounts placed. My boyfriend had his fan shroud in his truck because he was gonna be putting it on. When calling to see if it were done the gentlemen on the phone said they went ahead and just put the shroud on (didn t call previously to ask just went and did it) my boyfriend thought that was great it saved him a step. Once he got the call the truck was ready the invoice was $100 more than what he was quoted!! They charged for the fan shroud without telling him how much it d be. I get that they provided a service but if it were that much he wouldn t of done it. We thought it was just a courtesy thing because they made no mention of additional pricing. When we went to pick the truck up we spoke to the ms who does the charging. She said she thought that s what my boyfriend wanted done after talking to Steve? And again assumed. I interrupted and said if there s any confusion you should have called him. All in all it ended up my boyfriend getting blamed because he had the fan shroud in there (it s his truck he can have whatever he wants in there) the ms never apologized for the mix up and didn t offer any discount (would have been nice) and said they can just take it off. Now the truck had to stay over ANOTHER night. Just really bad communication and no care for the customer. We won t be returning for any work besides for exhaust (they re the best with exhaust). -In reply to the post below:You still didn t not mention any charge. We understand his fan shroud was there and didn t say it wasn t supposed to be on but it wasn t on the work order either. So if it wasn t on the work order he should have been called so it can be clarified or say hey we can put this on if you want and it ll be this much extra. When you say you went ahead and put it on it was like a courtesy thing. Communication is key. If he wanted YOU to put it on he would have said so. Again, we understand a service was provided but you did not make the customer aware. So yes they did take the fan shroud off and uncharged us. Still kept the truck ANOTHER night as previously stated.

Used to love this place, even took my car here for 2 major repairs this year that I am now questioning. Went to a second place for review of the car and the repairs I was told needed to be done, were not true. Be careful of this place, they apparently try to rob you!

Customer Beware!My name is David PLEASE READ this before you decide on taking your vehicle into this service department. Recently I had work done on my truck and then it went from bad to worse. I had a failing driver side hub assembly so I dropped it off and everything was smooth. The people I talked too were friendly and they even got my truck back to me early then I had a appointment for.That was the ending of the good, so I take my truck home and it drove great. Was off a few days and then back to work. On my way to work in the morning the truck was making a pretty noticeable knocking noise. wasn't bad enough for me to stop but definitely caused alarm.After work I started home when the knocking sound was far worse. So I stopped and started checking for what the problem was. As soon as I got out and started looking around I noticed two lug nuts missing from the driver side and the studs broken. I got my lug wrench out and found that my entire wheel was threads away from falling off. They had only hand spun the lugs on and had forgotten to tighten them.You'd think that would be the worse part but unfortunately not so much. I was able to secure the tire well enough I dropped the truck back off at Haine's. I called in the morning and pleaded my problems and figured I get everything fixed.Later that day i got a call from a man named Mark and he told me he was not responsible for the broken lugs and studs and that they had done the work to the passenger side. When i told him i didn't bring my truck in to have the passenger side repair but the driver side i was told "you have it wrong on your paperwork". The "paperwork" being the receipt I had from them saying the work done to the driver side and dollar amount I paid.So i asked what we can do about, not only the fact that the passenger side was fixed and not the hub I needed repaired, but also the fact I had a wheel that was dangerously hanging by a thread. My answer was again it was not "his responsibility" and that they couldn't do any more work for free. So in order to get my truck back into running shape I had to pay them AGAIN to fix the broken studs and replace the lugs. Keeping in mind this whole time my driver side hub assembly that I paid for was untouched.Topping this entire saga off was the fact that my wife and two sons had been making trips in bad weather over 200 miles and they almost took the "newly repaired truck" while I was off. I can only be grateful that they didn't because only god knows what would have happened to them on the highway at 60-70 miles a hour with a faulty wheel that has never been secured back on.TL:DL- I paid for a driver side hub assembly, they put in a passenger side instead and never notified me.- Didn't secure my wheel and only hand spun on the lugs.- Refused to take responsibility.Please closely consider having work done, I hope I can help you by steering you into another direction.

Really really like this place. Truck ran amazing after getting it back from them. Nice people there. Didn't try to add anything on. Clean shop as well.

I have been taking my car to Haines for years. They are very dependable and as a woman I have never worried about being taken advantage of. I highly recommend Haines for all you automotive needs.

Today is my second time getting a vehicle repaired there.They have done everything they said to my vehicle for the price they quoted me.Have not had any bad issues thust far.My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there price on labor is a little higher than others around the area.I use this shop because they gave me a time to have vehicle there and a time it would be done and it was right on time.Other shops in the area could take a week to start on your car and never has there done time been close.It was off by days.I will continue my getting my repairs at Haines even if it is a 30 dollars more for the repair.I can scheuld important events around there quoted finished time.My Mazda 6 is there today Thanks Haines service center. !

The manager was rude and told me I had to move the car, or it would be towed if I didn't pay that day. They also charged 75 dollars/hour for labor to change a transmission. Took them over two weeks to get around to it.
