Jim is an honest guy and a great mechanic. I trust my vehicle repair work with him and so does my family. He does great work for an honest price which is usually lower than most. Jim took over the shop from the previous owner and is a highly skilled mechanic. You won't be disappointed taking your vehicle to Fox Automotive.

This is by far the best service location I have been too. They went above and beyond what was need and had very fair pricing. No up selling or service deceptions. They simply figured out the issue with my truck, fixed it and charged a reasonable price while being friendly and honest. I think they even vacuumed the inside afterwards.

We can t say enough great things about Jim at Fox Automotive. He s professional and only makes the repairs that are necessary as well as giving more than one option for a repair when possible. Jim also will recommend going with the less expensive option rather than only suggesting the most expensive option. He gives you the choice. Jim also takes great pride in a job well done and has gone above and beyond to help us out in an unexpected situation. We highly recommend him!!!!

Fox Automotive is the absolute best! Jim will tell you exactly what you need to know, under promise and over deliver. I don t trust anyone else with my vehicles. I was given a Christmas miracle today when he stayed to work on my vehicle instead of starting his holiday break! I can t thank him enough!! *and my car smells better than it did when I dropped it off. It s the little things <3 *

Fox s was able to fix my car and took car of several other minor issues at the same time. Equally important, their rates were extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Fox s to anyone in the area!The owner explained to me thoroughly what the issues were and what was would be done to fix the car. It s now been several weeks since the repair, and my car is running great.On top of it all, he cleaned my foggy headlights as a bonus! This was truly unbelievable service by a repair shop willing to go above and beyond. Thank you Fox s, I will definitely be a repeat customer.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The gentleman who runs this place is 100% honest, knowledgeable, and extremely experienced. I've had him service my vehicle twice, and each time, I've learned something beneficial. I waited for my vehicle today for a service and also a possible tire plug. What I experienced was a gentleman who was extremely well versed in vehicles, extremely customer oriented and flexible with his hours in accommodating his customers, AND HE TAKES TIME TO EDUCATE YOU!! He showed me something concerning, but done by the dealership from a previous service ( new vehicle, so maintenance is done by dealership(s) ). The oil needed changing, and with no time to take it to one, "FOX AUTOMOTIVE" saved the day and informed me of damage that I wouldn't have been made aware of! Obviously, the dealership had no plans of telling me that they over tightened (SIGNIFICANTLY) a pretty important bolt. I feel this, coupled with actually over-inflated tires, he said to always look at the door panel for the correct PSI. After all this, he finished my vehicle in record time, under 40 minutes. Keep in mind, he's still answering the phone, waiting on customers.... He didn't have to do any of that. He is certified, and he DOES report maintenance to (Carfax, I think ), so it will always show your updates on maintenance, etc.IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE, YOU MUST COME CHECK THEM OUT!!!P.S: It's the holidays, folks. Have peace of mind, with your family's safety, long-distance travels, surely no one wants to deal with the headaches of car trouble(s). Seriously, set up something soon with Fox Automotive. I was in and out, right away. Stay safe, and Happy Holidays!

Have you ever had a mechanic try to save you money? No? Then you haven't worked with Mr. Fox.We've found him fair, honest, thorough and responsive. If you've gotten estimates from other places, take your vehicle into Fox Auto and see what he has to say. Jim stands by his work and is the most accommodating mechanic I've ever encountered. My favorite part about working with Mr. Fox? He doesn't try to "mansplain" things to me!

Fox Automotive is fantastic. I called with a couple of issues and he was able to get me right in for the repairs. He was upfront about all the cost. While he was completing the work he noticed another issue and called me to let me know and ask if I wanted him to complete the repairs while he had it in the shop. He is a very genuine person and takes pride in his work. I've brought my Mazda and my wife's van here multiple times. He has always been fair with pricing, honest with time it would take (always quick, a day or two), and would explain what is wrong and how he would fix it. He will also tell you if a repair is worth it or if you should look for a new car (a lot of other mechanics will just do the repairs for the money). Highly recommend this mechanic and will keep going here myself with all future cars

My wife's brakes were dragging and it was unsafe to drive, so we got it towed to Fox Automotive. I left Jim a voicemail that night, he called first thing in the morning and later that day gave me an estimate. The next day he changed out the entire front brake system, did the inspection, oil change and on top gave us a discount. 2nd time we've brought our vehicle to him and 2nd time we've got great service. There aren't many trustworthy mechanics out there, but Jim is one of them. Would 100% recommend.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Oil change

Jim was up front about the work to be done as well as the pricing. I appreciated the details he provided on what what he would do as well as the fast turn around time for the repairs. It was even more important for things to be right since we'll be taking a 1600 mile drive in our truck and having our son drive it back to college. When I get my other car back he's the guy I'll go to for work on that one too. It's also nice that he's about 2 miles up the road too.Service: Auto maintenance

Brake rotor replacement and vehicle inspection. Very knowledgeable and experienced, took me into the garage and explained everything to me. Showed me the rust issue and even explained different parts of my car undercarriage, and how to go about renewing tags each year at the tax office. Breaks work great, no squeaks. Car repaired in hours, drove to my house to pick me up. Trustworthy and genuinely nice person. Take your car here.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

My daughter got a flat tire on 81while traveling home from JMU to NJ. Thank God we had AAA, but I researched and called Fox automotive and immediately knew this was the place to have AAA bring her for help! Jim was professional and helpful when I spoke with him on the phone. He ensured me he would be waiting for her and would make sure her car would be safe to make it home, 4 more hours. The own Jim was extremely helpful in planning and performing my oil change. The shop didn't seem too busy at the time of my arrival so they were able to change my oil and I was back on the road within 30 minutes. Very friendly and comfortable setting. I recently took my 2002 honda civic to them to get work done an they done a amazing job hands down Jim is awesome! I took the same car to 2 different shops before an I was told I needed a new engine an all kinds of crazy stuff an decide to take it to fox automotive an they fixed my car with no new engine or any of that! For being my first experience at Fox Automotive, I will say it was a bit rocky. Their diagnosis of my car seemed to be spot on and they put in a new alternator, but there was some complications upon leaving the shop. I spoke with the owner Jim about it, he took it right back in the garage, and set it straight. Even offering me a oil change/state inspection on the house next time I come. All in all professional business owners and I look forward to visiting again.Edit: 09/02/22 Jim upheld his promise for the free oil change. Great doing business with Fox Automotive.

We have used Fox Automotive multiple times. This past time we were more than appreciative of their work. I work every day in my car. Literally my car is my office. Without my car I wouldn t be able to work. Foxes fixed my car quickly and ensured the safety of the vehicle. They worked with us, we honest about the work and communicated very well. I LOVE taking our cars here. Always very fair priced! Jim has always squeezed in an appointment for us at the last minute if needed. If anything was ever wrong with the cars or any general maintenance needed done, I knew to take them here! We moved and I was so sad to leave this shop. You know when you find a good automotive care, and this is the guy! Excellent auto shop, run by polite and prompt folks. They didn't have room for me for an appointment when I called but offered to fit it in when they could and it was done a couple hours later. Highly recommend this shop for anything you would need, they are very polite and have great service!

Jim is a great mechanic. He is honest, fair priced, and very easy to communicate with. The shop is in a great location, and is professionally run. In a world full of mechanics ready to nickel and dime you to death, finding a good honest mechanic is a breath of fresh air. Take your vehicle to him, you'll be glad you did!

Fox Automotive is my new favorite shop. Jim went way over and above to get my car fixed and get me back on the road the same day. And gave me a great price for the work done. He stayed late just to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you Jim Fox. Oh and both him and his wife gave me rides up the road so I could be comfortable while waiting for my car to get done. I 100% endorse Fox Automotive!!!

Had a great experience when I took my tires here to install on my car. It is a quaint shop with prices that are far better than others in the area and Jim is a well-seasoned professional and cordial person. I had great conversation with him. I plan to take my car back and will certainly keep Fox Automotive in mind in the future. Thanks for taking care of me and your customers.

Went to the shop to get tires mounted and balanced and to get my truck aligned after recently doing a lift kit. And lets just say Jim the owner and the fellas working there are very experienced. Jim is definitely a very knowledgeable person, and told me things about my truck that other shops neglected to tell me. Will definitely be going back for any service I need in the future.

I needed to find a new local mechanic, and I hit the jackpot with Fox! I was having several issues with my car, and they got me in the next day. Super sweet people, great work, and incredibly fair prices. If you need any work done to your car, I 100% recommend giving them a call.

Such an awesome and comfortable experience at Fox Automotive. This was my first vehicle inspection being new to the area and new to a state that required such things but Fox automotive made it a breeze. Good conversation and great service! It was so comfy being there, I treated myself to an oil change too and even that was quick,so much cheaper and less painful than doing it myself. Thanks for making this anxious gal feel safe and taken care of.
