A hidden treasure! At 4000', one of the most scenic Civil War sites I have visited. Be careful driving up, the gravel road had a lot of ruts when I went up.

Very photogenic spot. Next to nothing left of the fort itself but some of the earthworks are still evident.

Interesting bit of history, trail could use some work. Pretty muddy in a couple of places.
