We had a very pleasant experience at River City Subaru. George was very knowledgeable but most importantly, he was not pushy. He presented my husband and me with the information we were looking for then stepped away to allow us time to think/talk/shop without feeling hassled. Shopping for a new vehicle can be very stressful, but we were able to make a decision on the vehicle that best fit our needs without feeling pressured. We definitely recommend River City Subaru!

I have been taking my subaru to River Cities for several years always receiving great service. I also noticed how they donated to two local charities that I support as well. When I noticed that theOutback had a 1.9% interest rate I decided to check in on the 2024Outback Touring. The one I was driving was 7 years old and 164,000 miles.The Sales Department was equally has helpful as the Service Department. I am happy to recommend River Cities SubaruSales and Service.

We came to River City after going to the Subaru dealership in Charleston and it was worth the drive. The customer service blew us away! They were willing to listen to what we wanted in a vehicle, where we wanted to be price wise, and made the buying process as easy as possible. We walked on the lot, test drove, purchased the vehicle, and drove off the lot in just over and hour and a half. There was no haggling, no sifting through hidden agendas or numbers .it was so straightforward and easy. The best car buying experience we ve ever had. AND they beat the price of the exact same car at the Charleston dealership. I got the exact car I wanted at a great price. It doesn t get any better than that!

This is my 2nd Subaru purchase. The sales person and finance guy helped me find a car and hat would meet my wants for what I was looking for and gave me different options for payment needs. I would definitely buy another vehicle from here in the future.

I traded in a 2016 outback for a 2024. They said my 2016 was only worth $10, 000 and would be auctioned off. Two days later, it was on their lot for $19, 999. They gave us no discount off the sticker of our new vehicle. . I would recommend you go elsewhere if you want a fair deal. I will never purchase a car from River City Subaru again.

The service and parts department for this dealership is one of the most lacking I ve ever seen. I was in today getting battery checked on my vehicle which is a 22 and still under warranty, turns out battery is dead okay replace it, right? No. They don t have any in stock and no idea of when one will be in. No offer of simply running half a mile of the road to advance auto or auto zone and getting a battery. In which I did, spending $300 that should ve been handled under my warranty. This was after me giving them another chance considering months ago I ordered a mirror, called multiple times, waited months, talked to the parts manager and never updated so I went elsewhere and got the mirror in 3 days. Truly if Subaru wants their name on this kind of service it s a disappointment. Customer service is everything. I will be trading in my vehicle tomorrow elsewhere so I can make sure I never have to return.

Great experience overall! I recently purchased a new Forester at this dealership - the salesman I worked with, Brad Bailey, was very helpful and not high-pressure at all. Everyone from the finance department, management, etc. was friendly and easy to work with, and I'm very happy with my new vehicle.

Subaru advertises they love pets and I can definitively say River City Subaru loves pets! Whenever my vehicle needed service, they had no problem with me bringing my dog with me! After everything was done, they gave us a bandana for my dog and gave us an extra one when I mentioned my little kitty!! He loves his new blanket!!

I have had nothing but bad experiences with this dealership. I ll drive to Charleston or out of state before I go back there. Just because I am female does not make it ok to treat me like I am unintelligent. The service desk has one nice person but the others are rude and will not help you at all. I m still having problems with my Subaru that I bought new there and paid for an extra warranty. Water continues to come up in the doors into the car when I drive through rain. The screen still blacks out even though I took it there for the electrical upgrade , the car will just turn off for no reason. Now it s having trouble recognizing my keys and they are in my pocket! Waited all my adult life to buy a Subaru and I am very disappointed.

I always have a good experience with River City. For most of my life I have been very anti-dealer (not just Subaru, all dealers suck IMO). I forget why I even brought my Subie here in the first place but I have been coming here for years now, so they really earned my business. The thing that really impressed me is that River City does, the opposite of the typical dealer trap where they try to upsell you and pressure you to get work done you do not need. For example almost every time I come here I schedule an appointment to get X, Y and Z done. A lot of time the advisor will come find me and tell me that I do not need to get Z done right now -- the part still has a lot of life left. Things like that. It shows a lot of integrity. There is a particular advisor I really like who I have gotten the past couple times (I think Gregory?) and he is very nice and definitely knows his stuff. I'll keep coming back for as long as I get service like this

I cannot say enough good things about the buying experience at River City Subaru.We drove 5 hours and 40 minutes to purchase a particular car for my daughter Claire. From the first phone call to the last handshake in the parking lot, the experience was flawless, fast and pain free. Our salesman Michael Deacon was wonderful on the phone. Understanding that we were driving a long distance, he was extremely honest and forthcoming about the condition of the Accord Coupe we wished to purchase. He was prepared when we arrived and I dare say we were in and out faster than any of my previous 10 car purchases over the years. Hats off to the team at River City Subaru. You have restored my faith in the car buying experience. I would gladly drive 5 hours to do it all over again.

I had my dream car picked out (The 2023 Subaru Ascent Onyx), but it wasn't on the lot yet. Brad, the salesperson, helped me reserve it and answered all of my questions before I bought it. He showed me all of the features and how to connect my phone to my car. He was awesome! Cindy, the financial guru, assisted me with the purchase agreement and answered all of my questions! Super easy process! I love driving my new girl! :D

My wife and I recently had a very terrible experience with River City Subaru. My advice to everyone is this: do A LOT of your own research before you go, don't work with Alex, Heath, or Tifffany, bring a pre-approved finance offer (stick to it), do not put down a deposit, do not count on their finance managers, especially Heath, to find you offers. The only goal they have is to profit from you as much as they can by either having you finance with a bank that will give them a kickback (they literally keep the manufacturer promotional finance rate from you) and by attempting to sell you the extended warranties. Stay away!

Came looking for a new car in hopes to trade ours in. Things started off great, but then took a turn quickly. The person helping us told us straight up we were not allowed to trade our car in(they didnt even look at our car. We had direct view and they didn t check it.) then told us if we wanted a car the only way to get one was to buy one now, then let the place we have our current car with repo it! They wanted us to lie and say we could no longer make the payments. I have never been so sketched out by something. Then when we said that we were not sure about it, he said he wanted at least 5-10k down on a 19k car to even think about us getting it. They shoved us out the front door after and we had to request our key back. I will NEVER be back! And i will be telling everyone to steer clear!!!

Extremely helpful staff, very actively assist customers beyond the date of purchase and/or service. Staff does a good job of providing accurate and helpful information about vehicles and their features, is swift to respond to inquiries. No upselling, no pressure to purchase extra items or services, but good variety of services are offered at reasonable prices.
