Went to get a new used tire since mine was flat, didn t have the right size it was big (after saying they had the right size) but they said it would be fine to drive with so i agreed since I had to be at work the next morning, not even 2/3 weeks later and my tire is now flat. Wasted money for nothing when I could have just gotten a brand new one and wouldn t have had to spend more money on yet another tire.

Took my sons car, Chrysler 300 here to have the front subframe replaced along with the front forward control arms. The work was exceptional, not to mention they save me a lot of money over what the dealer was charging. I have been coming here on the referral from a friend for about two years and this is the most work I have done at one time. This is my go to shop from here on out. Shout out to Tom. Great work and thank you.

I always take my car here to have tires mounted & balanced and alignments. Nick is always good at what he does and they make sure the job is done right. I trust these guys more with my car than any other tire shop in the tri state. Thanks for the good customer service.

I had my car inspected here. My car had 4 locking lug nuts on it when I took it in. I also had a key for the lugs. Now I have 1 lock nut and no key to remove it. I don't know what happened that 3 were replaced with standard lug nut and my key to no longer be with my vehicle. I have since replaced the key for 20 dollars. I really wish the service team would have communicated with me about the locks. This way I could have made the decision about my car.

I bought tires directly from River City Tire, they installed them, didn't get one of them sealed correctly, and they charged me to bring it back and reseal the tire even though it was their fault. And they are directional tires meaning they have to go a certain way and they put them back on backwards so now I have to wait even longer for them to fix another mess up of theirs. And not to mention the guys working on people's Vehicles won't stay off of their phones either

River City tires is a great. I've personally witnessed them explain to customers that they DIDN'T need specific work done, even though they could have made more money by just doing what the customer asked. I also heard them explain to an elderly lady, that she didn't need to spend the $500 she was planning to spend, she merely need a ball joint. This is a really friendly, honest group of people.

I went to have a leak repaired on my passenger front tire. They said it was the valve stem and they replaced it, charged me $20. I didnt drive the vehicle for several days, and went outside and saw the passenger front tire was going low again. Called them and took it back. They said that they had replaced the drivers side last week not the passenger, when i had said it was the passengers side, and i know it was the passengers side leaking because i had to pump it up myself. They said it was the same problem just another valve stem. However this time the cost was $10. So ill let you draw your own conclusions from that.

Friendly, fast, excellent service that went above and beyond. A national tire store that starts with G quoted the same amount for smaller, weaker tires and refused to put on just the rear tires. I'm so glad a neighbor recommended River Cities Tires instead!

My AAA guy recommended them. Had a patch on a tire I needed and they took care of it in about 40 mins, which was good considering how busy they were! Everyone was nice. Just wish everyone (including customers) were wearing masks out of respect for those at risk. Good price for the job.

Called at 0930 asking about getting a front end alignment done they got me an apt by 1000 and i was paying and leaving by 1040. Quick and accurate service. Everyone seems nice too. The price was fair and getting us in and out made a huge difference. We will be back for sure.

Came here after recommendations from friends but that was mistake. I have had my tires for around a year and tire has already formed a knot on it. Came in because its under warranty but the mechanic comes out and say I don't qualify for warranty because the tread on tires was to low to qualify . When I asked him to show me the numbers and when he did they where off from what he said inside the store, and after looking at warrant in front of him it was clearly under warranty but he still giving me a hard time about it. I had to spend money on new tire somewhere else. DONT GO HERE!!!!! You have been warned, they are con artist!

This is my go-to for front end alignments. I have found them to be honest and fair. For an example I took my fusion in last week to have a front end alignment. However the mechanic told me all he had to do is adjust the toe that it was not out of alignment. The real problem was my tires were cupping. So instead of the $63 charge for a front end alignment they only charged me $20 to set the tow. What more can you ask for than honest reliable service.

The price they quoted me I cannot complain about cheapest around however I dropped them off 2pm they weren t ready until following day around 3 was told they were busy my real issue is the lugs were so loose a 5 year old could ve took them off with a socket and every tire which were brand new leak air with bead sealant smeared on my rims I could ve died or possibly killed someone very dissatisfied

Good place for tires or to get wheel/tire problems looked at. If it's expensive though it's worth getting a second opinion. They've been on point with my car but told my wife she had a $1200+ problem that was actually just an alignment/balancing issue. Great service, fair prices, and fast work. I still go back every time... just if it sounds a bit pricey double check.

Awesome place. had to stop for a slow leak in a tire. very professional and as quick as they could be. The waiting room is a cozy and they have fresh coffee. Total time in and out was about 1.5 hour. Check and replace a valve stem.

Had my brakes replaced here on my minivan. After picking up my van I noticed they were grinding worse than before I had them replaced. Called river cities and they told me to bring van back. Took van back and when I picked it up I was told they did not hear any grinding, but they cleaned brake pads off in case that was the issue. My brakes continued to grind to the point passengers in my car would comment on how bad they sounded. Called river cities back and was told to bring van back. Took van back and was told they did not hear anything and brakes were fine. My brakes continue to grind. I took my van to Toyota in Barboursville to have brakes checked. They agreed they grind and told me river cities put on after market brakes and the only way to fix it is to have them replaced. So there is hundreds of dollars down the drain.

Tom diagnosed a crack in my air intake hose that was very hard to spot and causing a lot of issues. This is the only mechanic's I go to. Everyone at River Cities Tires is helpful. Prices are fair and the mechanics do an excellent job. They offer explanations of what is going on so that I can better care for my vehicle. I have taken my Chrysler, Honda, and now my Acura to have work on as I have been coming here since learning to drive. A great business in Huntington area.

It was the only store in the area able to align my 05 Audi Allroad. I had been charged three times at other stores for alignments where little to no real front end alignment was done. They did it and fine tuned it on two follow up visits in the week after. This is a car that had never been true since purchase two years ago. Highly recommend and intend to look at them for tire business.

They do great work in a timely fashion, and they're way cheaper than dealerships! Had a new radiator installed recently. Partner had a new axle and break caliper installed for way less than the dealership. Half the price! They will even do work on Saturday. Highly recommended!

My daughter brought in her Ford Fusion to have her a/c repaired. The folks here were so professional and on time. My daughter is a full time college student and pays her own bills, she saved approx. $450 coming to River City vs. the Ford dealership.

I grew up in Huntington, went to the old Huntington High and attended Marshall. I am posting this review on behalf of my 82 year old mother who lives on a fixed income. On June 2, 2020, she went to River Cities Tire on 145 West Third Ave for an oil change. After she left, all the oil drained out of her car and ruined her engine. They had forgotten to put the oil filter and oil pan bolt back on. She went in with a perfectly-running Toyota Camry and ended up with no transportation. In the end, all that River Cities did was give her what their insurance company felt the worth of the car to be. Even though I made multiple phone calls and pleaded for them to make it right so she could at least have some money to purchase another car, they refused. In fact, their local insurance agent worked with them to not give my mother any extra money! In the end, it took nearly 2 months for them to even get the small amount of insurance money to her. When my mother shared this story with others, several mentioned similar treatment from the same business. One even recommended suing them! So, if you are looking for tires, repairs, or, heaven forbid, an oil change, we would highly recommend you try somewhere else and avoid the poor work, unfair treatment, financial loss, and personal stress of an experience with River Cities Tire.

I've been to this establishment several times, this was the first cisit in a few years and it was painless. We got two used tires for 30 bucks. That is pretty standard around here but I feel more comfortable at this location and don't feel like I'm getting a subpar product. They had seating available, of course less than normal due to social distancing, and a tv to occupy your mind. The waiting area hasn't changed in the 15 years I have lived here but it works.

The service tech was very knowledgeable about my requests on changing tire sizes for my vehicle with a lot of suggestions. I'm not disappointed in his recommendations at all. This is my third set of tires from them and recommend them as a reputable vehicle service.
