Had my car at another garage for 2 months waiting on a transmission replacement. Laney's had one ordered and repaired within 3 days. May take a couple days before they can get your car in the lot but it's because they only have a few spaces. Call ahead before you go. Excellent work. Pretty good pricing. Wouldn't put any parts on your car that he wouldn't put on his own so don't expect cheap parts.

Needed to get transmission fluid/filter changed before a long trip towing a camper. Scheduled appointment weeks ahead of time. Told guy on the phone when I made the appointment year/make/model/etc. Drove all the way up there first thing in the morning on the day of the appointment (along with someone to give me a ride back) and he tells me they can't do it due to the type of filter/fluid it takes. Would have been great to know that when I talked to him weeks ago. So wasted a trip and now I'm scrambling to find someone to do it before I leave in a week.

Dave Laney know how to talk to people and treats them as a friend. They were very highly recommended to me by Doug's Auto in Genoa he said I probably could fix it for you but if it were mine I would take it to a specialist that knows their job and he highly recommended this shop thanks for getting me back up and running and fixing my Jeep wrangler.

About a half dozen people recommended these guys and I see why. Just old school good ol boys who know their stuff and do what they say. Their shop is neat as a pin (see photos) which tells me a lot about Laney's. They got to the job quickly, got it done and at a very reasonable price. Don't look for cheap though, you get what you pay for. If you want it done right take it to Laney's.

Was referred to Laney s for possible transmission fluid leak/check engine light with a transmission code. After diagnostics was told that the transmission was functioning fine and was most likely an electrical issue; despite taking the time to help diagnose our vehicle s issue was charged nothing for their time. Will certainly be back if I have a transmission issue in the future.

Has worked on transmissions in two of my vehicles. Very friendly and courteous. Stands behind service. Timely on service. The two bad reviews are from an unnamed person, and came in the same time. I would not give much credence to them. I have been treated well.

Took our 2007 Toyota 4 Runner in for a transmission issue on Monday. Mechanic there called me within a couple of hours. The issue was only computer related thankfully. He cleared the errors and charged us very little. He didn't even want to accept payment until I was satisfied with the results! Of course he'd fixed the issue. I'm convinced they have all the best technology for transmission diagnosing, and will always recommend Laney's!

The folks that changed my oil said transmission is leaking. I took it in to Laneys and the guys checked it out. Said it was oil leak not transmission. They didn't charge me. Highly recommend Laneys!

They did a complete overhaul to my Husband's transmission. Truck was taken there on a Tuesday & was fixed that Friday!!!
