Had to get my tire fixed, and Dennis got me in quick! He was super friendly and explained everything they were gonna do. I will definitely be coming back to see him again!

The only problem I had is I had an appointment scheduled on a Wednesday at 7:30. After I arrived I was informed the tires I ordered were not in so I had to reschedule for Saturday. I had about a hour drive in so that was a little frustrating. I felt the shop should have called me Tuesday evening and informed me of that. However, I know the phone rings both ways and I should have called them to confirm but I did not. Once I arrived Saturday I had an 8:30 a.m. appointment. Upon checking in I was told I still had a 3-hour wait since I was waiting for my vehicle. It was understandable because I was also informed they only had one technician working. It was the holiday season so that is totally understandable. I had tires installed an oil change. I always send my oil off to get it sampled. They were happy to help fill my oil sample bottle for me which was very nice. When I was leaving I saw the technician in the parking lot and I talked to the fella. He was a really nice guy and seemed knowledgeable. Which was a relief because I am very picky when it comes to somebody working on my vehicles because I usually do it myself. I had no complaints with the work I received. I will gladly come back in the future. Thank you for your professional service.

Good and thorough service. Took vehicle in for lifetime tire rotation and wheel balance. Technician used torque wrench to properlyre-install lug nuts. Very impressed.Only downside is the "up-sell" pitch, and subtle arrogance upon declination.

Use to be a good place with friendly and helpful staff. Now they overcharge and are cold. They are not clear on what they charge and will add services to overcharge you for something you don t need. Add this to lackluster service, you have no reason to go.

Quick, efficient, professional, and very kind. Went in for a state inspection and it went incredibly well. Dennis was also incredibly helpful when taking my information in preparation for the inspection, and was kind enough to joke around with me after I kept grabbing things they were suppose to keep for the inspection. Thankful they had coffee and water so I could wake up!Will be a returning customer, for both inspections and anything else that may happen to my vehicle.

Absolutely trash service, doesn t even deserve 1 star but I digress. From the moment I walked in the door the older man working the counter was extremely rude and condescending, huffing and puffing and mumbling rude comments under his breath like this is so stupid but was super nice and friendly to a male patron in the store, even joking with him, but would hardly acknowledge me unless he absolutely HAD no other choice, almost hit me in the face with the door coming back in because I was literally right behind him, complained about my appointment time and also my parking (I was told just park it out front and they would take the car into the bay themselves) quoted me $400 to deal with the front 2 brakes and then once they FINALLY took it back, the gentleman, Dennis, came up to me out front and then said that it would be $1,100! I said no thank you I will have to take it elsewhere, and when I went back inside to get my keys and paperwork I was told I needed to pay an $80 consult fee (which ended up being $91) after my own experience and then coming to google to check the reviews, which I should have read FIRST, this is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a shop. Would not EVER recommend this place to another living soul.

Slow and expensive. $239 for state inspection, plug 2 tires, and replace 2 bulbs (not even head lights) took 2 hours 45 minutes. Would not recommend. Only saving grace was the employee out front.

After experiencing a tire issue caused by me, I needed a quick resolution in order to drive a couple hours to keep another commitment. Dennis worked with his manager, Team, and my rental company to help me keep my original plans intact.

If I could give 0 stars I 100% would. Went there for a state inspection yesterday. They come back after having my car for two hours!!! Saying that the pump for my front wiper fluid will not work and it will need replace for them to pass me. Mind you I had used it a day earlier so I knew they were lying to me. But I said okay whatever they gave me the rejection sticker and everything. I got into my car after having the pay for the service fee ( which isn t expensive but it s absolutely ridiculous. Since they literally did nothing with my car after having it for 2 hours) and I leave. Once I pull out of the parking lot I m thinking well let me see if it actually works or not. I was right down the rose and I m able to spray windshield wiper fluid on the front and back windshield (which is shown in the picture). The price they were going to have me pay for it to get it fixed was over $700. Just to let everyone know I am a female so no wonder they are going to try and have me pay that much to fix something that doesn t need fixed. My brother just got 4 new tires for his car (which is the same car as mine) and it was less than $700. My price was double what his was for 4 new tires. If you need anything done on your car so not bring it to Goodyear especially if you are a female.

I wish I could give this shop a "0".When traveling through the area, I experienced car troubles. This shop charged me $148 for diagnosing the problem, and told me I needed $1000 in repairs. When I got home, my local trusted shop told me those repairs were not needed. The problem was fixed after $40 and 30 minutes.

went to get my state inspection and failed my car for something that didn t even need fixed and tried to charge me 1800 dollars. i ended up taking it somewhere else because i was not paying that much money for a 20 dollar problem they passed me at the other shop. if you are a woman definitely do not go to goodyear. the old man at the front desk is also extremely rude and should not have a job especially one that s working directly with people.

We were on a road trip and had a tire issue, on an early Sunday morning, they helped us out without an appointment and were extra nice and helped with all of our issues in a very fast time. I recommend this place to anyone in the area. Thank you so much for helping a traveler.

Went last week for an inspection, vehicle drove perfect when I took it in. Left with brakes grinding and diminished breaking performance. Then they were wanting to charge double the going rate for the service to fix them. Prices are definitely a scam, and I'd say after talking to others there's definitely some shady business going on.

Had been told by another shop that I needed all news as mine had broken belts. And the rear brakes needed replacement. I told them the brakes were grinding. Goodyear said tires did not broken belts and all and that the slides on brakes needed cleaned lubed.

High tire prices, and I have had problems with their service. The service department busted my grill on my Mercedes, then just barely hung it in place. When I stopped at red-light, it fell off.I, of course, went back, where they replaced it with a used one they ordered from a salvage yard. It took over a week to get it in and replaced. I no longer service my vehicle there.

Highly recommend Goodyear Tire Company on 4th Avenue in Huntington. Jeff, Rick, Dennis, & Calvin will take good care of you. The service is top notch and friendly service.

My 85 year old mother and I were traveling in a rental car from Louisville Ky to Richmond Va. hearing a loud hum in the rear car, we randomly stopped at this mechanic s shop in Beckly to get it checked out. His service was outstanding! He was honest, determining the noise was due to worn, but not dangerous rear tires. He did identify a safety risk -a plug in the outer wall of my front tire. He called the rental company, got the authorization to replace just that tire, and changed the tire. Oh-and he stayed open an extra 1/2 hour to get it done so we wouldn t have to stay overnight. Mom and I appreciate his kindness, skill and honesty.

The service I received was truly impeccable from start to finish. Not only did the service department repair my car in a timely manner, but they communicated with me every step of the way, even texting me so not to interrupt me at work. Ricky, in the Huntington, WV location was so helpful.

Jeff and rick are outstanding. They Fit me in on short notice for an oil change. I asked them to give the car a once over and they said everything was fine except it needed a rear windshield wiper. They are easy to talk to and you get the feeling you can trust them. I will take my car back there every time.

Have had my car taken to this shop multiple times now. Sometimes with an appointment sometimes not. They ve always been quick to repair and let you know what they re doing. I ve had my car towed in the evening with no appointment with a pretty major part needing replacement like a heater core or new tires, then they ll call me at 12-1 in the afternoon the next day saying it s done. It s great service, great people, would recommend

They want to charge $50.00 to mount and balance one 16 tire? He said that's the going rate, "no it's not". I called River City and Firestone they only charge 20 something. This place is rediculous. I will gladly take my business to River City. No wonder I never use this place, sounds like they are scamming people to pay those prices. READ THE OTHER COMMENTS, THEY ALSO SAY THEY CHARGE TO MUCH. Go to River City Tires or Firestone and save you some money!

Great customer service. Alway friendly and polite. Love the professionalism and courtesy of all the employees. My last stop in for oil change, I think i had at least 3 employees ask me and the others in the waiting area, if we wanted some bottled water. I never had employees at other shops do that.

Don't go in for inspection and expect to not pay for more!! No stars. They wanted to add several other things that didn't need done. I refused, had my car looked at and it was good. Took it to another place in Huntington and it passed. They also did this to another female the same time I came in. They also had another upset customer that day for something else, Disappointed

Great team at this store. Repeat customer for tires and maintenance. Honest evaluations and reasonable prices. Go to mechanic for all automotive needs.
