I m taking my vehicles here in the future.I chose to try Clark s after receiving excellent customer service from Debbie over the phone. Chris and Debbie communicated clearly while my car was at their shop. I was given specific explanations of the problem & what needed fixing. Chris called to explain everything item by item & confirm what I wanted to do before he started repairs. Everything went smoothly.

I have finally found my mechanic shop. This place is AWESOME! Debbie was extremely helpful and got my car in for service ahead of schedule. What can I say? The work was completed quickly and the price was so reasonable I was shocked and delighted. Any other place would probably charged me double what I was quoted. I have lived in Huntington for 2+ years and finding an honest, good mechanic shop is always tough. This is now the ONLY place I will take my vehicle for service. Highly recommend them.

Clark s quickly diagnosed and repaired my SUV s faulty coil pack, O2 sensor, and engine misfire. Chris B. was efficient and courteous, kept me informed of the required repairs and cost to get back on the road. The crew had me in and out the same day. Their prices were fair, as I saw very low mark-up on the parts prices they charged versus the price I would have paid if I d gone to the auto parts store myself. I m happy with the level of care and attention my vehicle and I received, and if my vehicles need service in the future, I will surely go back.

Clarks auto has the best customer service of any auto shop I have ever been to in my 43 years. We brought our newly purchased car to clarks to have an axle repaired , they called us a short time later to inform us that the axle that had come with the car was for the wrong side we went to pick up the car and even though they had taken time out of their busy schedule to look at the car they didn't charge us. A few days later we got the part and brought the car back. We dropped it off mid morning and before the close of business our car was finished. And it drives perfectly. The price was exactly what they said it would be no hidden fees no trying to add more repairs that weren't needed just straight to the point and exactly as promised. The price was also amazingly fair. They answered all our questions even though they were always super busy anytime we called Chris took the time to talk to us like we were the only customers. He remembered us from the first time we brought the car in didn't have to ask our information again. Everyone we encountered at this place was extremely friendly and courteous like they had known us for years. I would recommend anyone to take your vehicle to clarks auto they are amazing I'd give them 10 stars if I could. And as long as they say they can service or fix my vehicles in the future this is the place that will for sure always have my business. Thank you to each and every one of you. Best place in town! Chris and Debbie are amazing. They put a new transmission in my 2003 ford explorer and it runs like a champ now. I ll continue coming back to this shop.

Found this shop after living in Huntington for a little over 10 years. Turns out I lived right across the street from them in college but never noticed. Don't know how I ever missed them... But I was having some issues with a misfire and some loud brakes. Talked to them on a Monday, they got my car in Wednesday. Within an hour or 2 they called me and told me what was wrong. In another 2 hours they were finished. A few days pass and I notice a loud coil whine. Sure enough my alternator is bad. I take it back the following week. They get to it the next day after drop off, and find an alternator in Charleston. It's done within a few hours. The professionalism, care, and genuine nature of everyone I talked to was more than I could ask for. In person, and on the phone, I was met with kindness and manors. Not too many shops have as much as that. Please don't hesitate to consider leaving your vehicle in this shops hands. Prices were more than fair. And every issue presented to me was met with a why. I had zero doubt that I would receive my car in better shape than I left it. They deserve every 5 star review. And I won't be looking anywhere else in Huntington to have car service. Dropped my car off just before noon, got it back the same day, despite the fact that Clark's is a busy shop. New front brake pads and a replacement motor for one of my windows came in well under what I was expecting to pay.Intake was a smooth process, as well. Debbie, the Service Advisor, listened patiently to the litany of problems and noises I described, making detailed notes to share with the mechanic.Everyone I dealt with, on the phone and in person, was polite, professional and seemed genuinely appreciative of my business. Clarks has been a life saver for me and my Subaru Outback. It is a family oriented business in the community. They know you by name and your car on sight. It s hard for a female to take a car to a shop. You always want to think that you can trust the service you receive or the money you are charged. I found out the hard way that s not how it works. I found Clark s to be trustworthy and honest. I personally give them a 10 for outstanding service. I will continue to keep going back for service because they are the kind of folks. I will never go anywhere else. In my 4 years of living in Huntington, Clark's has gone above and beyond to take care of me, and they do it quickly, politely, and honestly. Even in an emergent situation they got me in with no problem and showed compassion like I haven't seen at any other business. Quality, fast work and kind staff. Can't ask for any more than that.

Chris at Clark s Auto Care did a very thorough review of a car I was considering purchasing. He gave me accurate info, and was meticulous in the details he provided. I don t live there, so I was trusting him with my decision! He was very kind and did all of this for a VERY reasonable price. I highly recommend Clark s!

This is my brother and father's business. They have been in business more than 65 years. Both are the most honest men I know. I've watched them with their customers. They are genuinely concerned about taking care of each person. If they were like many other garages, they would make more money - but they aren't. Their honesty and integrity is above reproach, which is what keeps bringing customers back. You will never be over charged or told something is wrong with your vehicle that is not.

Will never take my vehicles here again.Left twice with them neglecting to address major issues I had wanted done (even something as easy to remember as an inspection sticker and fixing the parking brake). Left all three times with more issues than I came with. Two of those times I was told part prices over the phone that were twice as much when I came in.What was supposed to be a week turned into six weeks and cost me time on the job (my truck is my paycheck).Make sure they write down everything you ask them to do, or, better yet, take your vehicle elsewhere.They may actually be genuine, skilled, and organized, but if so, I never saw it.

Found Clarks on the internet. Read the reviews and decided to have my 2011 toyota Camry towed there as it was running rough. I was expecting the worst and was pleasantly suprised when they called me back s few hours later and told me it was something minor and my cat was ready. Awesome honesty and fair price. Very refreshing. Everybody was professional,courteous,and knowledgeable. From the lady answering the phone,the service manager to the mechanic. Highly recommended. Great people with good heart. I ve been going here for 10 years. I miss Clark senior, he was such a good hearted young man who made that shop in 1950s as I ve heard. Only tip I can give is that if you can diagnose the problem before you go, it helps them big times. Sometimes they have problems diagnosing foreign made cars, but if they can t diagnose, they don t charge a penny. Having a good mechanic is a blessing of God!!

This place is like a doctor's office for cars. They are so nice and quick to work. The office is so organized and clean. Even around this time of year with the hustle and bustle and stress of the holidays they get things done. I had to have my starter replaced in my 2003 Dodge Caravan and they did a phenomenal job. Thank you guys so much!

We were traveling through the area when our truck developed mechanical problems. Not knowing where to turn for repairs, we googled local shops. To our great fortune, Clark s Auto Repair came up with good reviews. That is an understatement, they worked us in immediately, diagnosed the problem, had it repaired and back on the road in a very timely manner. Their service was excellent, reasonable, professional and friendly! Many thanks! Highly recommend for others to use, they will treat you right!

The service was great. The product is great. The owner even called me and advised what the work was conducted in the vehicle. The vehicle being my young son's. Made me feel good knowing that my sons vehicle will be safe for his driving

I cannot say enough good about Clark's. I've gone here for at least 35 years and love service and honesty of the Clark family. Recently a new member of family has started work there and is a great asset to Clark's. If you need anything done to your car or truck do yourself a favor and drive to Clark's.

I have done business with Clark's Auto Care both in auto service and his Budget truck rentals. Chris has always provided excellent and attentive care. Service is good, prices are fair and their communication is top notch. I would recommend this business to anyone seeking a reliable and trustworthy auto shop.

Every single time I've taken my car to Clark's I've been terrified of hearing what was going on with it, what was needed, and how much I would need to pay for it. All three times- the cost was 1/4 what I thought it was going to be and I was so relieved. Last time I told the owner "I love this place!" He said he's been there 60 something years. I wont go anywhere else as long as I live in Huntington.As a female who knows NOTHING about my own car- I trust these dudes!

I took my Scion to Clark s after phoning first to see if I could be seen today. I took it for an inspection and found them to be honest and worked quickly to get me on way way in a timely manner. These guys are amazing! I went to another big name auto place in town who said that I needed new brake pads, rotor and calipers, new cv joint, brake flush, new tie rod and new gasket covers for $1700. Their diagnosis didn't make sense so I went to get a second opinion, I needed new brake pads, rotors, sway bar and lower engine bracket for $670. My car runs like a dream now! Thanks for not taking advantage just because I'm not knowledgeable of cars! 10 out of 10 would recommend, especially to females who know what it's like to be taken advantage of by car shops! Could not recommend Clarks Auto Care enough!

Tried to give this place my business since it is greatly reviewed but after trying and trying to get pricing on a simple motor change they kept giving me the run around .so I came in to get face to face business instead of through phone the guy at front desk was very rude upon seeing my race other ppl that were Caucasian was seen and treated in a nice manner upon me asking about just an estimate to do motor mounts all he could say was I m busy I can t give you an estimate and then told me it would even be a week before he could even look at it ..if your not white you want be treated as everybody else in these reviews
