If I could leave zero stars I would. Took my car to this shop for simple engine swap. The deal was to put a temp engine in while original was rebuilt and then swap back. This procedure ended up costing more than 5k. They did not seal the valves and gaskets correctly which prompted return to fix. They also damaged A/C lines but come to find out they didn't even reconnect them. CV axles that I replaced 3years ago were over torqued and now need replaced. Time frames were moved without any notice or viable explanation! This took more than 2months to finish and when completed my vehicle was in worse shape than before it went in. I DO NOT recommend anyone doing serious maintenance to ever trust this shop with your vehicle!

More than excellent service, from owner to lady at from desk!Driving back from Florida to Canada with in-laws, or water pump broke down in there town. Nothing more boring than having a major car brakedown on a long road journey.Charlie's Auto Repair was able to get us running in no time!!! Lady at front desk even took her own car to drive us to restaurant nearby as the fix our car. Thanks customer service!!!Would recommend this repair center to any one hands down!

My vehicle broke down on 1-81, with a tow being extremely too far to get it home, it was suggested to be fixed here. I got a room for the weekend at a local hotel, and Charlie's worked on it early the next week and had it working perfectly. My cv axle and control arm needed replaced and now my 1999 car should be good to go for another 20 years. Still working extremely smooth almost two months later. These folks will treat you like family and have your vehicle fixed at a fair price. Thank God for Charlie's.

Everyone at Charlies was FANTASTIC!! I was doing a long drive on Route 81 when my car broke down over Christmas break. They spent so much time and effort over the holiday season trying to get my car back to me as soon as they could. They also kept me in the loop the whole time and explained everything in a way that I could understand what was going on. The prices were VERY reasonable (always a plus). From the front desk to back shop, everyone at Charlie's was amazing and I would 100% recommend using them if you're ever in the area.

No Bull. Clear explanations. Super Fair. Superior customer service. This Auto-Shop is a Gem. I was super impressed with the professional courtesy, care, and geniune concern for my problem. Great team. What a blessing.

First time visiting Charlie's. The staff is professional and easy to comuninicate with. The garage is clean and well organized. I would recommend taking your vehicle to Charlie's.

Amazing crew here. Always bring my vehicles to Charlie's. They are honest and beyond fair. Vehicles are completed when they say they will be, never charged for things that I shouldn't be.Honesty, integrity, and courteous service is all I have ever had here.Highly recommend this shop for all your needs.

My day started off walking out to my car with a flat tire. I called Charlie s right when they opened, they said they would take me, and they had me out of the garage within 20 minutes! Jack and his team are the most capable and honest general mechanics in the eastern panhandle that we had the pleasure to call upon for service. They have accomplished complex repairs such entire rear axle replacement in record time at extremely fair prices. For our family they have really come through multiple times, and we appreciate them.

This place is wonderful! I was driving home and my tire pressure light came on.The gas station that I usually go to to put air in my tires, their tire pressure machine is broken. I called up Charlie's and the man was kind enough to not only see me right when they were getting ready to close but he also put air in all of my tires. Nicest garage in West Virginia.Service: Auto tire replacement

On July 4, 2023, I was heading south on I-81 when my A/C stopped blowing cold. I stopped in & Jack had me follow him to Advance & put some freon in for me. Very kind & helpful on his day off!

I got a flat while driving down interstate 81 on my way home to NC. Called these guys up and they took me right in. Not only did they replace my flat tire but they also gave me a spare as well. As a bonus, they checked the air in all the other tires to make sure i would make it home to my family. I can't thank these people enough. Very polite great people all around!

I pulled up to their lot twenty to thirty minutes from their closing time probably looking stressed and disoriented. I was an hour and a half away from home. My car s front splash shield (I hope that s what it s called) had mostly fallen off and was dragging on the ground. At higher speeds, it was making a pretty bad sound.At Charlie s, they were immediately able to help me and send me on my way, and for that, I could not recommend them enough! The people working there were nice, too.

Recently divorced, this was my 1st time taking my car to a shop alone. That was always something that my ex took care of. I had alot of questions and anxiety was through the roof but they were very patient with me and took good care of me! Thank you!

Found my car had a flat on my way out the door. Called Charlie s and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. Tire was fixed quickly and I was out in no time. Very friendly staff.

Charlie's is a great shop. You know that when you bring your vehicle in your getting quality work. Staff is polite and about as fast as you can hope for a auto shop to be . Wasn't hard to find right off 81 exit 16w .First used them when my sisters car was having vacuum issues and need her car to travel back to Fairmont for school. I called them on a Saturday and they booked me on Monday. Monday evening they had fixed the issue but also did a full check on the vehicle found that the tie rods on one side were in bad shape . They notified me and fixed them as well all this said I'll never go anywhere else for my vehicle needs .

I blew a tire on the interstate on my way to Tennessee coming from Philly. It was about 11am on New Year's Eve when I called a gentleman named Jack and told him I was on my way in. Jack and his crew were about to close up but he stayed open to get me new tires and back on the road. Jack personally drove to the wholesaler to pick up tires for me. They changed the tires in about 45 minutes and I was on my way less than two hours from pulling into the shop. I can not speak highly enough of the hospitality and willingness of Jack and the guys that work here. In my state of desperation, I could've been raked over the coals for every dollar I had, but I was treated fairly and given an honest price for new tires.Service: Tire change

I was driving to Maryland to Indiana for the death of my Father and my car had issues. The cover to your oil on the bottom of the car came unhinged and was dragging on the highway. Glen answered the phone right away and waited as I arrived with hazard lights onGlen fixed my issue, checked my tires and gave me more fluid to wipers to make sure I was safe for the rest of the driveHe charged me nothing.... I repeat nothing. Asked me to pay it forwardWhat a kind man! Great work. Highly recommend!

I m from Southern Maryland and was in Martinsburg for the weekend and had a brake issue on may way into town. Woke up next the morning and did a search and chose Charlie s Auto Repair Center based completely on the reviews. I am not a friend, family member, or long time customer and they were top notch. No charge for brake inspection, Pointed out (showed me) that all looked good and did a tire rotation in the process. Honest and quick service and highly recommend theses folks to anyone needing service on their vehicle. Was a real West Virginia pleasure. Thank you.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys. They are knowledgeable and friendly. They genuinely care about you and your vehicle, its like bringing it to family. They are more concerned that you have a safe vehicle to drive then about nickel and diming you to death. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else if I can help it. I drive almost 1,000 miles to have them work on my vehicle. I live in Florida now and schedule my auto repairs around visits to my family up here. I usually don't have an appointment but they still manage to fit me into their busy schedule. These guys are the only mechanics that I completely trust. if you live in the area you would be a fool not to bring your vehicle here. Do yourself, your car, your bank account, and your piece of mind a favor and go to Charlie's Auto Repair Center!

I am a long-time customer of Charlie's and highly recommend them. They care for your vehicle like it is their own, are reasonably priced, and do great work. They are honest and trustworthy, and they don't repair things that aren't broken, which I've come to really appreciate after having been cheated by dishonest shops in the area before coming here.

I was in from out of town and was having car problems - was able to get an appointment within a few days.They narrowed my problem down to a few things but were up front that they could not 100% say due to not having subaru specific code readers (common problem going anywhere). I was pointed in the right direction and was walked through exactly what the possible culprits were. The owner jack also offered to speak to subaru on my behalf.Would go back again.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Fuel delivery

Another great experience at Charlies Auto. This is the 5th vehicle I have brought to them and been very satisfied every time.. Nothing has changed since my last review. They always treat me well and reasonably priced. This time it was for pads & rotors all the way around and a oil change.

My 1st experience @ Charlie's was a GREAT 1! Jake, Britney & his co workers made an awesome impression. They not only fixed my Corvette, but went above @ beyond & checked the work done previously from another shop without request. Not only are they are they not afraid to spend quality time with your vehicle, but with their customers as well. # customer4Life LOL

Driving from Illinois got the East coast, and thought I blew a hose on the radiator. Mechanics discovered it was the water pump, and were able to fix it within hours on a Friday before closing for the weekend.
