Surprised by the 4-star average here. This was the best experience I ve ever had with a vehicle rental place (of *any* of the big companies). The folks at this location are incredibly friendly & accommodating - especially the branch manager!Of course, I ll be back to update if there are any nasty surprises later on But I will be surprised if that s the case.

I have rented from this location a few times now. My son goes to Fairmont State. The first time i used them his truck broke down and they were easy to deal with and very friendly. This last time a deer hit his car and again, great people to deal with. Made everything very easy and we had no problems extending his rental when we needed to. We had to extend the rental twice and it was very easy and not big deal for them. Thank you to all the employees who made it a stress free experience. Its hard when we are in NC and he is up in WV but they made it very easy on use, thank you.

Loooooonnng checkout pricess for someone with everything pre entered online. Like 30+minutes. Too many upsells. Too many calls and emails asking me to return the car that I overpaid for early so that they can rent it again.

I use the Enterprise location in Fairmont, WV on a regular basis for business rentals. The customer service at this location is top notch!!! They are extremely courteous and professional. They always go above and beyond to make sure my rental needs are met. Every employee at this location is amazing! I truly appreciate them and the excellent service they provide.

Had Vehicle reserved for months so up and they don t have any vehicles. Told to come back Monday as if people don t reserve ahead of time for vacations. This isn t the first time they have done this. Horrible Management the employee was nice and apologized which I understand he has no control over it. Maybe time to find a new Manager. You guys are horrible.

Great service. The vehicle was clean and ready when I got there even though I arrived a little early. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this rental car service.

I had an insurance claim. Erie insurance sent Over the details of what I was permitted to rent. I was instructed I had unlimited rental until the body shop was finished. The issue was i had unlimited rental on a lower class vehicle . Now I must turn in the pick up and they have had no rentals since to swap me out with. Leaving me without a vehicle. Extremely u satisfied. My truck wS also not cleaned before it was taken home. :(

Fast, friendly and thorough!My mother just had a rental from the team in Fairmont and they were excellent. She was dealing with a third party insurance that was pretty difficult, and they handled it with stride. They got her a vehicle that was similar to her vehicle that was in the shop, they called her to keep her updated on the status of her vehicle/the insurance, and they were friendly the entire time. While she was in the rental, a deer jumped out in front of her (after hours) and they were even speedy with switching her out (the next day!). I can't say enough great things about the team here in Fairmont. They worked really hard to make sure she had a really nice experience. Thanks again for the great service!

Rented a Mini Van over a month ago and went to pick it up this morning and they had NO Mini Van. Keeping in mind I called the day before to confirm and was told " you are all set" All that was available was a SUV and it was filthy dirty. Was told it was just returned and there was no time to clean it. The very nice young lady at the counter was all alone and apologized for giving us a dirty vehicle. Since we were leaving for our vacation, we were left with no choice. I understand good help is hard to find these days, but the customer service is suffering. They should have offered a compensation for the inconvenience, but DID NOT. Again, we had no other choice as they are the only game in town.

I have been an Enterprise Plus member for a while now. Out of all my experiences with enterprise that have been great , this one was not .The supervisor of this location was completely rude and very unprofessional, I was given a very nice car on empty and was told to return it on empty , I was renting for 1 day. We all know all newer cars can't run the gas out that fast. I was not reimburst for the gas that was in it. I was just going to leave it alone but you keep asking for a review.

The ease and convenience of renting a new car online and absolutely no hassles if you need to extend your time with the car. I have spoken with a few team members on the phone and they have each been so pleasant and well versed into handling my specific requests. I highly recommend renting from them, they have a loyalty program you can join to earn points towards future car rentals. Many many options to choose from as far as types of cars for rent and very reasonable rates considering I rented a brand new car (2020 model with only 4,000 miles on it!) I will definitely be utilizing this company again in the future!

Service started off great initially but the manager Brook (and I use the term manager in regards to Brook loosely) at the Fairmont location has absolutely no business being in her position. I ve never been spoken to so disrespectfully. The tone she used during our entire conversation was demoralizing and completely unexpected from someone in her position. In addition, the rental was less than clean. I m sure by how dirty it was that it couldn t have possibly been disinfected, and about 15 miles from the Enterprise location the service lights came on.

As always with Enterprise the price quoted is what you pay. Never have had a hidden fee. Our local staff is always the best, will try and help you anyway they can. Vehicle was clean and fantastic for our trip. My only choice for renting cars.

I was lied to about car availability on the phone. An associate at the Fairmont location told me I needed to get there asap for a Mitsubishi Outlander. However once there she said it was unable to be rented due to interior damage. I had a reservation for a car since Monday morning. After she said it couldn't be rented out I asked why she offered me the car on the phone then. Her response was she didn't realize it was damaged. However the lady that came in after me drove off in it. I ended up walking 5 miles home and 2 days late for work. Thankfully the company I work for was able to get better assistance than I was. This was very unprofessional and sad cause it's the closest rental place without having to go to clarksburg or Morgantown.

This last experience was not as nice as previous experiences. I have never been unhappy before this rental. I ran into issues with online reservation so needed to call office to reserve a car. Then when I went to pick up vehicle I was given a car that had pet hair in it and terribly strong odor of cigarettes. I immediately returned that car for another and was happier with that vehicle although it also could have been cleaner (had some kind of drink spill all over center counsel). Other than those issues the rental was great. It clearly states in all cars and on contract NO PETS --NO SMOKING. People should respect others who may have medical or allergy problems. If they can't respect others by covering seats or not smoking then they should be charged extra for the extra care of cleaning that vehicle. Another suggestion would be having a few cars for smokers only!!!

Very disappointed in service this time. Finally had chance after 3 yrs to book a vacation. I was in need of SUV for this trip, booked a reservation week prior to leaving, got confirmation number. Day to pick up all we got was sorry don't have what you reserved, but you can have a small car with a 25.00 discount. I've rented from them 4 times this year, no consideration for that. Just so everyone knows apparently reservation are not guaranteed. Website should say that when making reservation. Caused us to be 3 hours behind schedule, had to leave things behind because of no room in car and change plans for what we wanted to do on vacation. Again, no big deal to them.

Everyone there is super nice and helpful. Held expectations after talking with them for a trip for work. I've got vehicles from here when Wilson Ford had my vehicle. I'd rent from here for myself and recommend family as well.

The SUV I rented for a weekend of family fun was the largest vehicle I've ever driven so I was a bit nervous, but driving it turned out to be nearly effortless. The vehicle was clean inside and out when we picked it up and everything worked. It was especially important that the A/C worked front and back because I was hauling myself, two other adults and three toddlers and the outside temp was in the 90s. I really liked the back-up camera.

The staff at enterprise were kind and considerate. Showed me around the van, and gave me a card in case I needed everything. Van ran nice. Overall had no complaints, only praise!

There's no better rental car business or staff! I particularly interact with Dan who works at this location and every time he makes sure I am taken care of. I have never had an issue and the service is top notch! Thank you all for making the experience the best every time.

1 way rental. Manager at drop off insisted we could leave the vehicle at a dealership we were purchasing a new vehicle and we didn't need to sign any paperwork. Called 2 hours later to make sure the rental was picked up. At this time I was informed that a "crack" had been found and they were going to file a claim. What we thought was a great courtesy by enterprise turned out to be a complete breakdown of their return policy. Always walk the vehicle and trust only your eyes. Terrible situation and zero answers so far.

Overall good experience for dealing with a rental car company, other than them sometimes making it a pain to actually pay for the vehicle.Can cause problems if you don't have a credit card in your name, won't even accept a credit card from someone else if the name on the credit card is different then the person actually driving the vehicle.

We rented a vehicle with bumper damage we didn't care , But when my wife returned it a employee treated her like she damaged the bumper . She explained check the records the damage was noted. The employee checked and found that was the case . Then she walted out side to get a ride home in the cold for 30 minutes . They'll pick you up but I guess they don't drop you off !

My rented vehicles form this place keep having problems. Dirty inside & out. More than half the time I've had engine trouble. Their rental policies recently changed for the worse as well (deposit charged instead of held). Long-time customer, but I won't be back.
