Saw their billboard from US50 stating they were WV's Premier Gun Shop. Was in the area and stopped by. It's clean and has plenty of stock, employees were friendly. I think you can beat their prices pretty easy, and it was hard to make sense of how some of the ammo was laid out. Maybe if I was local it'd be somewhere to go, but I live in Morgantown area and ATR in Fairmont blows them away.

I have bought several guns from Dodds. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful with all your needs. They have a very good variety of guns and outdoor equipment. If they don t have it they will do everything they can to get it for you. I highly recommend if you haven t been there it s definitely worth the visit.

Always a great place to do business. EXCELLENT PRICES, and if need something shipped to you (because don't have the time for 50 minutes drive each way), BAM! It's there, somehow, in 2 days! Always better to keep business local!! Thanks!

I had an issue with an order that I had ordered online. Dustin was quick to contact me and stayed in contact with me until we worked out the issue. If the rest of the employees are half as dedicated to the customers I d say this has to be one of the best sporting goods stores around! Thanks again Dustin for all your help! I am very pleased with my experience with your store!

I deal with Dodd's in person regularly and they're outstanding. They have great prices, great customer service and back up their products. 95% of the time I make the hour drive to the store they have what I am looking for and then some! These are honest people and 9 out of 10 times they're the lowest price around.

Only store in the area where you can get ammo/guns ECT. So expect the prices to be higher. Been there many times, don't know if the staff is just helpful or they follow you around to see if your stealing lol. They just updated the store and it's larger with a good firearm selection. They do a lot of business on gunbroker so you may want to check them out on there you might get a better deal. Overall decent shop, so if you're in the area stop by just be prepared to crack your wallet open lol!!!!

I was in their window shopping a couple days, very helpful and friendly staff, also have a very nice inventory, and low prices as well. And the staff was extremely knowledgeable as well. Would definitely recommend.

Seems to have a decent collection of firearms. Has ammo, however prices reflect the current shortage situation. People seem friendly and let me browse without hounding me. Would definitely recommend checking out.

Knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to work with. Why go to a box sporting good store when you can go to Dodds. I will be back to purchase from them even if I have to drive 1.5 hours.

Purchased a Firearm from this retailer online and after 2 days of no contact, they sent me an e-mail that they actually didn't have the item in stock. I tried reaching out by email and phone to give them a chance to save the sale and work something out. Only to be ignored and disrespected. Complete waste of time. So they are a dishonest company and I pity anyone willing to do business with them. Buyer Beware

i purchased a firearm over the phone with them and theyre customer service was great i live in a different state had this item transfered worked out perfectly item showed up as described and actually showed up way sooner than expected i would recomend them for sure.

Buyer beware! I had some of the same problems as other negative reviewers. These people apparently have shady business practices. I attempted to make a purchase from them on Gun Broker and they fell through on their end of the purchase agreement. I Will not attempt to do business with them again. Don't lose out on your time and money

Ordered something online. The system processes the order and money was taken from my account. After a few days of no tracking number I called to see what was going on. I was told that as my shipping and billing where different they could not process the order. I was told that the money would be returned. A week later I still have no money and my bank is now advising me to start an investigation. Horrible experience.

WOW! What an amazing selection of firearms. If you're a hunter you will think you died and went to heaven; once you enter and see this amazing store, and the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable.Don't take my word for it, check out the photos..

My name is Stephen from Las Vegas, Nevada. Ordered a Tavor TS12 shot gun from Dobbs Sporting Goods through gunbroker.com. Merchandise was sent off the same day that I chose to buy it now Instead of bidding. Great price, fast delivery. Contacted seller Kevin a couple of times while item was already in transit due to questions I had. Both Kevin and Collin were very proffessional, courtousey and helpful. I've been looking to buy a PTR 91 for months with little success in finding one in stock anywhere or at a reasonable price. I called Dodd's and Dustin said he would see what he could come up with. I got a call back 3 days later and was told that the rifle was ordered and would be at the store in a few days. When I rolled over to Dodd's ( 4 hr drive) everyone in the store was friendly and the selection of rifles and pistols will make your mouth water. They even had a bag of original HK mags for my rifle. These guys could not have been any more helpful and went over and beyond to get a hold of a very hard to find rifle. Will definitely be giving them more business!!! Well done!!

They jave a great selection of merchandise on stock and if they dont have it the will go out of their way to try and find it for you. Staff are always happy to see you. Stop in you wont be disappointed.

This is my local gunstore.... i drive an hour to fairmont.. or to middlebourne to buy firearms and ammo... if that doesnt tell you enough about this place idk what will.... Mountainside Outfitters in tyler county or ATR performance in fairmont and morgantown are both MILES AHEAD of Dodds.. as far as selection AND prices

I was referred to Dodds by none other than the Remington gun company, after inquiring with them about procuring an R1 Tactical .45 ACP. Dodds had them in stock so I purchased one. Came new in the box. I also purchased a Barska GLX green laser for over $150 which I attached to my R1 and put about 100 rounds through it with the laser attached. I took it off because it was distracting. Then I bought a BCM AR-15, scope, a bipod and 2 magazines. This is where business became about taking my money. Everything was fine except I went to mount the laser to my AR-15 and it stopped working as I adjusted the windage and elevation. The red power lights are on so I know the battery is good, there is something rattling around inside it which it did not do out of the box. The magazines came in grey, I ordered black. I sent a screen shot of my order and pictures of the magazines back to them, along with some phone calls during business hours which returned a store is busy recording and a couple emails with no reply. I cannot contact them and they won't contact me. I guess being from out of state means I am of no value beyond my dollar. I would expect better treatment after spending over $2500 with them in the last 7 months. I will never conduct business with Dodds again. Enjoy my money, it's the last of it you will ever see.

Great people, very knowledgeable and friendly!!! Largest and best selection of old and new. I drive a hour and forty five minutes one way on a normal basis to visit this great place.

Worth the drive from Parkersburg WV. Customer service is alive and well at Dodds Sporting Goods store. I do my best to buy everything I need at Dodds.

Don t call to check availability on a firearm. Employees don t even know what they have in stock without asking for a part number . Over priced and egotistical.

Purchased item online from them and did not receive the pictured item they sold me and then there reply to me was a joke about my user name. Pretty sad when a company stoops to this level when they were the one to mess up the order.

Got to have money to shop here. No budget guns on the racks. Nice place to dream and get that nice gun. Be prepared to pay high used/new price on everything.
