I highly recommend this place , I ve stayed a couple times for the weekends and the last time I stayed few weeks ago all the workers were amazing !! When I say amazing whomever the workers were there that weekend was so helpful with supplying me extra towels, sheets , etc multiple times even after midnight when my three year old had a bug that caused him to be very sick ! I felt horrible asking multiple times a day and they were so patient with me and even offered help cleaning . Rooms were very clean and cozy .Safety: Only thing I was worried about the door not having that lock on the top but they were working on it

Wouldn t give a refund. I know it says non refundable but how is it my fault that my cards chip wouldn t work at the location. Didn t try to accommodate me in any way. When I called she said she would do the refund if I went online and cancelled it then after I did she still charged me the full amount for the room that I didn t get with my card. But could charge me online but couldn t accept the payment in the office.

This is more than likely the BEST PLACE YOU WILL STAY AT IN ELKINS, WV!!! People who work here and manage this establishment go above and far BEYOND to make you feel comfortable, at home away from home, and most importantly, LIKE FAMILY!!! Keep up the amazing work folks. A million thanks for the HOSPITABLE atmosphere and warm friendly, family like atmosphere. FIVE STARS +!!!!!Rooms: Rooms where SUPERBLY CLEAN & QUIET!!! Again, staff went, for lack of better terminology, beyond and above what was needed or could have been asked of one doing their best (job wise)!!! 5 out of 5 stars!!! Employee Casey was sweet and incredibly HOSPITABLE and very poignant. Very hard worker!!!Safety: Hardly a peep was evident the entire 14 days we stayed here. Very comfortable and homely feeling. Secure and relaxing the entire stay!!! 5 of 5 stars!!!Walkability: Some walking involved but not out of the realm of possibility to achieve whatever one might want to accomplish (within .5 to 1.0 miles from your room); 4 out of 5 stars for walking.Noteworthy details: Office Staff (Manager Michelle was beyond professional and an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT EVERYDAY WE WERE THERE)!!! Chelsea and Tony where absolutely cut from the EXACT SAME CLOTH!!! TRUE PROFESSIONALISM AT ITS FINEST!!! Five out of Five STARS for their exemplary service !!!

No WiFi!!! No Pool!!! No kids play area! Floor was so filthy from not being shampooed we had to wear shoes all the time. One Owner was very rude when we asked about WiFi. Asked if we wanted to stay or not. Said he doesn't have to offer it. Even though it's advertised as having ALL that! Couldn't get room cleaned still after 2 weeks���Noteworthy details: They worry about money more then customers.

We couldn't find a room anywhere in Elkins and a young man from the Hampton Inn, Connor, recommended Luxor. The exterior is dated and the whole place is under construction. The rooms, though are 5 star!! Great TV, furniture, showers, towels, etc. I spoke with the owner, and told him how pleased our family was. Stay here for sure!

My mom Stayed Here and she showed me photos of the crusty mess of the room and the filth was just awful not including the front desk lady being really rude with my mom when she confronted her about the condition of the room my mom didn t get in to her room to 11pm at the night of 1/30/24 plus the heat was not work and where it was late she was coming from her cancer treatments and was late when she got in not including the shower was broke on top of the water being cold I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL TO ANY NEW CUSTOMERS I don t know why staff is so rude I m upset about this staff here and the rooms were dirty literally

I was surprised at how decent this room was given the remote area. I had a multi-day stay and was happy with the noise levels being low and the location being central to the different state/national parks. The bed was comfy & clean and the recliner was a rather nice homey touch. There's a standard hotel sized refrigerator and the shower was great. The pool is currently closed and make sure you call ahead if you're going to check-in late as the front office is closed in the early AM.

Had a weekend getaway with the hubby and found this hotel the staff was very nice the room was clean and the noise level was good. We slept like babies!! The only bummer was no pool.. we will definitely be coming back for another weekend getaway very soon!!Rooms: Room was clean!! The bed was comfortable! The shower had nice water pressure and hot water! And the heater worked great!

NOT A HOTEL FOR LATE TRAVELERS!!! Called and made a reservation for my husband who was traveling in the area late and needed a room to be able to grab a few hours of sleep. He arrived after midnight, the lobby was locked and no one came after ringing the buzzer several times. If planning on staying here and arriving after midnight I recommend having another hotel in mind as a back up.

It's a decent place, clean, basic, and convenient. Make sure you get a king bed for the same price as a double. There's no continental breakfast. The pool is out of service but hopefully it'll be renovated soon.

I wish I had read the reviews b4 I booked my room. I booked thru Expedia. The Expedia site states check-in is "3pm to anytime." The Elikins Economy Inn website says nothing about check-in. However, the office closes at midnight. I arrived at 1am and could not find a soul. I had to scramble and find another hotel at 2am. I recommend the Elkins Inn and Suites for similar price and seems nicer, but I never saw this room. The only reason this isnt a 1 star is the fact that I did receive a refund via Expedia. However, I do think this was dangerous. I was simply lucky I found another hotel at that time of night.

Very friendly and helpful front desk employee.Very clean room, secure and spacious.Yes, it has older furnishing and decor however you're not paying hundreds a night either.Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were not very clean. Floor was disgusting with cigarette burns, gaping wholes and stains. Bed was extremely small with only 2 pillows. We have stayed here before and it was definitely gone down in quality. The prices are good and the shower pressure is excellent.

My stay was horrible and scary. Guy at the front desk was nice but the rooms were not. Rooms were dirty, and cold. Heater is ancient and stunk when turned on. The toilet alone was so filthy it had what it looked like blood on the seat and lord knows what else. Oh and I guess they don t know what a vacuum is. Pool was closed due to it has to be worked on. It needs some work to get any stars from me.

I gave this a one star, because the staff was excellent. As far as our room, save your money and don't stay here. Very out dated, cigarette burn holes on the floor and furniture. Not to mention cigarette stains on bathroom sink. Towel rack came off when I grabbed a towel. Musty smell hair in bathtub. There walking in the hallway there were wooden hangers holding the window open. Remote for TV does not work and one of the side entrance no doorknob not good. Very decieving outside and final breakfast sucked. This place needs to have hotel impossible to ce

This was the worst stay that my family has ever had!! I can say that the staff was nice and the room was decent. But there was a drunken party next to our room with people screaming all night. Slamming doors. We would have called the police but was afraid that it would cause more problems with our family!! We seriously did not sleep all night!! We hope to get a refund..

This motel appears to be closed. I called them last night to make reservations and the phone was disconnected. I found another place nearby in Elkins and drove by here this afternoon. There are no cars at all in their parking lot. I can t confirm they are closed but it appears so as of 5/15/22.EDIT on 5/26/22: The owners replied they were closed for winter. They will be reopening soon. I have changed my rating to reflect this. Don t want to give them a poor rating due to this

Not bad.smelled fine clean good shower water pressure, that might you might want to bring your own toilet paper and your own towel just cuz but besides that it was actually decent and they have a pool that's open and running, cable, refrigerator which was clean and cold . needs new beds and pillows..thats my only critique..

Water looked like the sewer backed up into it. Bathroom had obvious mold issues.People are friendly, but owners need to correct some serious issues.I attached photos to show the issues. Better off staying elsewhere unless your on a really tight budget. Price seems to be the only thing going in their favor here.I will say the bed was comfortable though. Just do not use bathroom or shower here!!

Rooms are big and there's a lot of room for walking around unlike other hotels. Got a room for two beds and room was clean and well lit. No elevators though.Breakfast didn't have many options but they had a good variety of juices. Bagels, pancakes, honey buns, granola bar and 24/7 coffee were some options for breakfast.The location is a little far from the city and may look shady at night. But we didn't run into any problems. Far from city = less traffic noise; worked out well for us.

Service is 5/5, staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are decently cleaned, but I noticed there is an upkeep issue on fixing stuff. For instance a door that is peeling, or light fixtures on the wall are loose, wall sockets not having cover plates.
