The owner takes pride in his work and does a top notch job everytime! I had my intake system, exhaust and even my rims and tires from Appalachian Auto Repair. This is my go to shop for honest work and a quick turn around time.

We were on our way to a family vacation from Ohio to North Carolina when our engine light came on. Luckily we were close to Appalachian Auto Repair and it was open on a Saturday! Patrick, the owner took a look at our van right away. He explained what we needed and fixed the problem in a little over an hour. We couldn t have asked for a more knowledgeable, professional mechanic. His garage was very clean too. He really saved our vacation!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

This is a mechanic shop that thinks of its customers. Very clean inside and out. Patrick is a very knowledgeable man, we were passing through Charleston, WV, when 2 lights came on, on the dash. We had barely started on our trip. We pulled in he took a look, found out what it was and had it fixed in just over an hour. Prices are very fair. I didn't catch the helpers name, but he was kind enough to let me use their break room microwave to warm my coffee. Thanks again for all do you. We were halfway through our roadtrip when our car started making a loud knocking sound. We stopped immediately and found Appalachian Auto Repair had good reviews. Patrick was amazing. Quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and we were able to get back on the road in short order. Highly recommend!

Patrick is the best!! Got us right in and got the job done. He was very professional and upfront got us back on the road within the day no complaints. Great garage. Had the front brakes done on a Golf, rotors and pads. Prices were fair, kept me informed on the timeline of repair. I'm going back next time I need a vehicle worked on. Nothing but 5 stars.

We were traveling and had a blow-out fat tire and a damaged rim. This Appalachian Auto owner, On his day off, invited us over examined my car & tires at my request for safety. He didn t have my tire in stock but he resolved it with someone else he knew and highly recommended. His shop is very clean and neat and is getting ready to build an even bigger shop. I highly recommend this shop & owner! The shop is very clean and neat! He has awaiting area to sit I highly recommend this shop and owner!

I made an appointment at 12 on a Saturday. Due to transportation issues, I arrived at 1030a with my plugs and plug wires. I was informed that they only work by appointment only and my appointment wasn't until noon and he was under the assumption that I was droppin it off and my car probably wouldn't be ready until 2p or later. I agreed without any hesitation. I was called about 130p telling me that my car was ready. I was told that I was given a break on labor because he was under the hood for 3 hours. I was charged $180.00. My mistake for not waiting with the car. I was told the engine had been in the car more than it had been out. The day before I had just had an exhaust put on it and was told the only thing I needed to fix the misfire was plugs, wires and replace converter. I was told that the car actually wasn't running any better and that he would not advise me to drive it a mile to home. This car has a very strong 3100 V6. I finally got it home. However after I let it sit and idle for a little while after getting it home, this car is driving without misfiring. After converter fixed, the power should be back. I wouldn't have refer any one to take a vehicle here for service. Very arrogant Service: Auto engine tuning

I went to some of what I thought were the top mechanics to get my truck diagnosed . When I took it here they new the answer in less that 10 minutes! These folks are the best in the business .. My new go to shop. Great family friendly atmosphere and just loved to fast friendly reasonably priced service. I had to have made struts replaced a couple months back. Patrick told me that the cam bolt was going bad and he was going to order one and would replace it when he got it. Well life happens and we both forget. It finally broke and I went back and he replace it at no charge because he remembered that he was supposed to have ordered it. I have not had a bad experience with them and will continue to use them. Thank you.Service: Steering & suspension repair

One of the most upfront honest mechanics I have ever met in my life and a really nice guy brought my car in because the dealership told me I need the clutch but he called me back and just told me that it needed an adjustment you don't see that too often stand up guy 100% honest will be coming back all the time
