Bought a used ATV and it had a massive gas leak - gasoline would pour out as fast as I could put it in. Anyway, I had no one in my area to fix ATVs so I took it to Frank's. I asked them to look it over and give me an estimate.It was my 1st time taking anything to them. I wasn't in a hurry and didn't know what to expect. I didn't hear anything for a week so I called. Fella on the phone told me 'Fuel gasket needed to be ordered' call back next week (okay so the process is YOU call them...okay). Week later I didn't hear anything and called back.Fella on the phone told me now 'Fuel sending unit' needed to be replaced. Okay...No price given but part on order. Also this was over labor day weekend so the mechanic was off for extra long weekend. Fine. 3rd time I called I was told 'oh it's been ready, didn't you get the text?'....apparently they switched to a new notification system and I just didn't get the text.Long story short, they fixed my messed up used ATV at a fair price. Was it fast, no. It was over a major holiday, took about 3 weeks+ , BUT the price was fair. My other option was to attempt repairs myself, so all things considered, I'll be coming back to Frank's in the future.Hopefully the notification/communication part improves but hell, I'm not paying them to call me, I'm paying them to fix my stuff. The guy behind the counter was very apologetic about the lack of notification though.In hindsight, I would've also had them slap a new set of tires on the ATV if I had known what the final bill was prior to picking up....so communication could've really helped us both. With better communication I'd give them 5 stars.Still not a deal breaker. I'll be back. My ATV runs great now. Thanks Frank's.

worst possible place to take your equipment the guy at the counter is rude and inconsiderate and they have only one mechanic that calls out at least twice a week. i brought my 5k zero turn mower in there for a simple repair on a Monday morning and was promised itd be done by Friday when i called fridat i was told he had " rigged" my mower to work as the part hadn't come in yet i explained that i didn't want my mower rigged i wanted it fixed properly upon returning monday afternoon some time i picked up my mower as the mechanich drove it around from the back of the shop the front wheels were caked in mud and he had the pto engaged on a gravel driveway when I went into pay for this service i presented with a bill and instead of being told the total i was very rudtold " gimme a hundred bucks" as soon as i got to my first lawn i immediately knew something was wrong the blades were dull i imagine from cutting rocks in their gravel driveway so i took it up to Augusta and not only were my blades destroyed but they put my right rear tire on backwards! luckily wayne up at Augusta noticed it right away and fixed it for me id give this place less then one star if it were possible if you care about your equipment dont bring it to franks!!!! notice in the pictures theres no valve stem showing and the tire is squished against the frame?

If you do yard work - you have small engine equipment - you need to know there is a Frank's Small Engine Repair. You are going to need him. Small engines are different and need a person that knows not guesses. Frank knows - call him get your equipment running again.

If you want your small engines fixed right, this is the place to go , everything is done correctly , they fixed my 4 wheeler and it runs better then ever , don't waste your time going somewhere else , this place went above and beyond the task for me

I cannot more highly recommend Frank s! We brought our 33 yo Yamaha TerraPro from NC to WV to have it worked on at Frank s because of their reputation! As I passed our local ATV shop, then one after another, I was sure this was insane, but I kept driving. I am so glad I did! When we showed up, they were kind, welcoming, and funny. They went straight to work getting her fixed up and ready to roll. They made extremely short work of what would have taken a shop less knowledgeable much more time, and did it happily and with good humor! In no time, we were ready to get back on the road! I couldn t have asked for a more professional, warm, kind, knowledgeable group of people! Their reputation brought me in, but their customer service and knowledge base will bring me back yearly. Their honesty and professionalism is beyond compare! Thank you guys!

I have had Frank s work on my lawn tractors, weed whackers, flat tires, parts and chainsaws for at least 8 years. ALWAYS quality and honest service. Their price is fair and they back up their work. They even came to the house when my daughter forgot she had to disengage the mower when she was trying to start the lawn tractor. And no charge for that!

Could not be happier. Hit one too many rocks with my ride on mower at my log cabin. Mower definitely did not fit in the Prius or Mini Cooper. Butch picked up the mower at the end of 7.5 miles of dirt road on a Saturday and returned it the next Tuesday, with pulley, sprocket, blades replaced, tuned up and running better than the day I bought it. Another shop in Winchester offered 5 week turnaround time. I wholeheartedly recommend Frank's.

I will not go back. Asked for new brakes, fluid change and a tune. It took an extra month than what I was originally told. Did not receive any update calls, even when parts arrived incorrectly which delayed work. When I finally picked up both quads they still need work and do not run correctly.

Great place very friendly. My mower I could not start, and they started it right away, and they did not charge me because there was not work done. Very fair and honest. I will go back

Love this place!. Trouble with riding mower. Last year we waited almost a month to get mower back from a different company. He had our mower back and running like new in 2 days!!!!

Not too shore about service yet. Took a generator over 2 weeks ago and have not heard back from them. Not sure how to rate them yet.
