I like this shop a couple years ago they fixed my brakes they never worked so good. This time I called for tires but bought them elsewhere. Good place if you need repair work done! Would recommend them to get the job done!

I highly recommend Buckhannon Discount Tire to anyone in need of tire-related services. From my experience, they are the best tire establishment in town. I'll definitely be returning for all my future tire needs.

Quoted 2.5 to 3 hours for labor, job took 2 hours and then was charged 3.5 hours for labor because this is the book time . Why give a ranged quote on labor if you have a predetermined time you re going to charge for the job? Also why not mention beforehand labor is charged by the book, not by how long the job actually takes. This seems to mislead customers on purpose. Desk Lady also has no kind bone in her body, she was not necessarily disrespectful but has no care for a customers concerns. You can see their replies to other poor reviews that they are never accountable for poor practice. I m sure I ll get the this is not accurate or there s two sides to every story reply as well.No problem with their actual work so far, but they re shady with pricing and often slip something else into your bill you didn t ask or be told that it needed to be done.

Had to have breaks and rotors replaced while on vacation in West Virginia. The folks here got me put back together quick and friendly. I'd recommend their services to anyone.

Excellent service and friendly staff.. I went in on a Saturday to take studded tires off and regular tires back on... plus an inspection sticker. I was a walk-in, and there were 2 or 3 ahead of me.. I was in and out in less than an hour later, (45 mins?). Both the receptionist and the mechanic took their time to stop and answer my questions.. I've been there several times before and never an issue. I'd recommend anyone. I really wish I knew that mechanics name to give a shout out.. he was great today!

I purchased 4 new tires on a Wednesday then on a Sunday morning one was flat has I started my morning for a day trip. Monday morning I called Buckhannon Discount Tire to see if they could get me in, they said sure come on in. Great right?! So my friend took my car in since I was working the person working the desk was very disrespectful a personality present that she didn t want to deal with the situation. After checking the tire my friend as if it could be patched, they said no it s it was shredded inside. I asked they lady at the service desk if there is any warranty or discount based on the timeframe. Her response was no and you bought a tire that has poor tread and I should not have bought it. My response to her is that I needed a tire that will be well with lots of travel but not too expensive since I will be purchasing a new car in 5 months. Again she repeated that it s a poor quality tire. No warranty or discounts! Okay, well I still need a new tire so of course a tire was purchased and when it came in the next day my friend took my car back to have the tire mounted to car all while they attitude was still rude and disrespectful to my friend like it was a bother/problem we are needing there service a service I am paying for, additionally my spare was just thrown in my back trunk not positioned properly. My friend had to tell the gentleman working on the car you don t do that you need to position the tire back in the proper place. That seemed to be a problem for them too .with this experience of poor customer service they will NEVER GET ANOTHER DIME OUT OF ME OR MY FAMILY!DO BETTER! IT s 2023!

Went in for a front end allignment, and was told I needed an inner tie rod and a lower ball joint before they could do the allignment. I was quoted a price and made an appointment for after the parts were to arrive. 2 days later I went in for my car to be fixed. They were pretty fast and efficient and the car seems to be better. Only issue I had was when I went to go pay it was $100.00 more than my quote. When I questioned it, I was told because it was the wrong part that I was quoted a price on and what came in, and they had to reorder it. I understand that things happen, but that should have been something that was discussed with me before they did the work if the price was gonna change. What would have happened if I only had the money for the original quote.

If I could leave a zero I would. Put our vehicle in to get a normal tune up and they screwed our car up. We have now spent close 1K not including the work we had done. Been there 3 times to get it fixed and it still isn't fixed. They keep saying "Oh it's this" charged us for it to. It was not what they said it was. Now it's something else. Had tires replaced and they messed up the speed sensor. How about when you mess something up, you fix it! I will never in my life go back to them for anything ever again! Beware if you need any work done. It will cost you 10x the amount thay actually needs fixed and you car will be in horrible shape.

April 2022 update: Another great fast experience. 10/10 recommend.March 2021 Update: Another great experience! I went in yesterday to get an inspection/have a taillight replaced. They were unable to pass my vehicle due to an issue that was discovered. An estimate was given and I was able to get an appointment the next day (today). The repair took slightly longer than anticipated, but they stuck true to their estimated time which was greatly appreciated.I could not see the name tag on the guy that worked on my vehicle but he was very professional and friendly. I also witnessed them help out some military folks that stopped by.This shop was recommended to me when I moved to town and I will continue to recommend them to other people.Old:Amazing place! I was referred here by a colleague after moving to the area. The main gentleman in the garage I worked with was tall, lanky, and wearing a black cap. Very professional. Will definently be back.Office staff was also very friendly and professional. Will be recommending them to anyone I know that has mechanical needs. Quick Service and Quality Inspection.

Had my car checked ... Needed brakes and driveshaft replaced. Had an appointment at 1:00. Didn't pull my car in garage til almost 1:30. Then told me that they only had to replace the brakes and had to reschedule so they can do all the work like a week later. When I called to make sure what time and was told they would not do the spark plugs and boots when I told them when we rescheduled that brakes and driveshaft and plugs is what I wanted done. How can a garage refuse to do work on my vehicle that I told them needed to be done and was going to pay for. And also tried to get tires but they were unavailable and said they could not get them when your website said that they could. Then got a call this morning from the lady this morning telling me that I am no longer a loud at their shop. That they choose what they do and what they don't do and told me that indefinitely I'm no longer allowed there and telling me I cannot even look up tires on their website. If they can't do a tune up I don't want them working on my car. Was very rude on my voicemail. Finally got my car fixed and it wasn't a $900 drive shaft like discount tire said it was only a $40 transmission mount. ....... Yes it is accurate and why did you wait so long to answer? It was over a year ago if not longer now .... Still running the same driveshaft.

Great people.. I only rated 4 stars because of the wait time. I stopped in and was doing a favor for a friend and have his ATV mounted on wheels. I was there for almost 45 minutes, however if wasnt entirely their fault. Some lady from Virginia decided to back her car out and tire up her Mercedes SUV. So they had to clean it up as well...

Reasonable wait time for service bay. Fast efficient installation. Extremely courteous staff and service personnel. Price was lower than competition for same tire that had to be ordered. Tire delivery delay same for both shops.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!! I came in with a tire that had low pressure that needed to be checked. Christine got me in within 15 minutes and John was able to find a screw in my tire and patch my tire very quickly. I was in and out within 45 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend Buckhannon Discount Tire!!!!

Absolutely awful experience. They tried a bait and switch with my tires. I did not authorize new tires to be put on but they did so anyways, my tires were in fine shape. Then tried to charge me $44 to put my old tires back on when confronted. Never fixed why my engine lights were on which I paid $450 for them to do. Had to take the car to another mechanic just to find out they had lost a lug nut off one of the tires. Avoid this place like the plague.

Why buy tires from a grocery store? Because they balance tires after they mount them. I had my winter tires put on here, and i noticed they didnt balance them. Ive never had a set of tires mounted anywhere that did not automatically balance them. My car felt like it was going to shake off the road. I took it back and the guy took all 4 off, and the lady came out and said to only balance the front ones. I got it on the highway and it still shook badly. I brought it back, they balanced them, and it still shook badly. I took it to another place and PAID AGAIN to have them balanced and now it rides as smooth as can be. The second time i brought it back, the woman made it clear she was quite annoyed with me. They do have quick service, but obviously they cut corners to get you in and out so they can make that quick dollar. This is the first time i have ever been anywhere where they did not balance tires when mounting them. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Their prices are not better than anyone elses either. Do not waste your money and TIME as i did. I hope this prevents others from wasting as much time and money as i have with them just to get tires mounted and balanced.

Had a state inspections done. It was a short wait as we just showed up. Waited outside. Garage was clean and we were in and out quickly.

I spent $520 on tires last week... they didn't have time to do the alignmen.... I scheduled an appointment for 10am the following Thursday... arrived early... Left for food and waited four hours... no call... I go to check on the process (was told it would take no more than two hours)... they hadn't even started... and didn't have mechanic in to even do the work... no apology... no offered discount.... Business is business and people's time is valuable... go elsewhere if you value yours...

Friendly and honest. Was told at the dealership that I needed front breaks. Took it in to Buckhannon Discount Tire they pulled the wheel off called me and told me pads look almost new. Guess the dealership wanted more money from me. I want to thank all for the honesty.

Service technician lied about changing filters and I will not be doing business with them anymore I let them know that I had a pregnant wife driving the vehicle before the Service and when I was leaving I asked again if they changed all filters and I was told yes when I got home I checked and no washer fluid and the air filter was never touched so I called and the technician swore he changed it but didn't. No compassion for others and also lies

This place very rude to customers pulled sticker for inspection threaten to call the cops and said we had 5 days to fix our car. Our sticker did not run out till march 31 2018. Advance didn't have parts now we have to wait up to 5 days for them to come in the mail. Never again will we go to buckhannon discount tires for anything after we are done only to get our sticker back ... BEWARE OF THIS PLACE....

Awesome people. A WOMAN did the tire work. It was beautiful. The men were hard working on other vehicles and we were in and out wit excellent service the whole time. Hard to find a gem like this around here.

I don't know how they get their tires so cheap, but I'm certainly thankful for it. Their waiting room is also very inviting and they work fast.
