I brought in my Subaru Outback to repair an oil leak and get an inspection. I was given an estimate over the phone. After a couple of days I called to get an update and was told it would be ready the following day. The following day I called and was told it would be another day. After a week I called and was told they were sent the wrong part and that my battery was dead; (my battery was fine when I dropped it off). It was two weeks before I was told I could get my vehicle. I started it only to see that my CHECK ENGINE, BRAKE, and TRACTION CONTROL lights were on and my cruise control wasn t working. I left it for another two days but was told their diagnostic reader didn t detect anything wrong. I paid $1,159.00 for a repair which seems to have left my vehicle worse than when I went in. I will go to Monroe for shocks, brakes and muffler service but that is all. I cannot recommend it for complex repairs requiring skilled technicians and I cannot recommend it to others.I have more to add. My engine continued to leak oil even after the leak repair. What I didn t know was that it was also hemorrhaging transmission fluid as a result of shoddy work performed at Monro I noticed that it felt funny when driving and when the fluid level tanked the entire car would shudder violently during acceleration. The blinking dash lights were NOT faulty censors. There was serious damage done to my vehicle and the shop took my money anyway. According to the techs at the dealership, it is now unsafe to drive and will require over $20,000 in parts and labor to be road worthy again. I emailed Monro the diagnosis and repair estimates which were forwarded to their claims department. Keep in mind that my now deceased vehicle is sitting at the dealership lot. They will not let me keep it on their property indefinitely. I have yet to hear from the claims department even after having left four messages. Also, I am on the hook for the $160 diagnosis which MONRO requested. This Monro shop is located on Tolley Drive in Bridgeport, WV. Avoid at ALL costs.

Alignment! In and out l in a reasonable time. Hard working expert staff. Guys who have been doing it for years. I even witnessed them handle a situation with a customer who had a niche problem they couldn't address. They helped him find another business who could donthe work! Much respect!

We hit a spot of car trouble on a long road trip. The guys here took us in last minute on the night before Christmas eve, quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it right up, no charge. Super friendly and attentive. Bless y'all!

Actually 0 star worthy! Bought tires and had them shipped to Monro Muffler in Bridgeport WV, they were signed for by an employee who hasn't worked there in months, and on arrival to have them installed, was told they weren't delivered. FedEx provided supporting documents that they were in fact delivered. Corporate stated they would investigate, no return call, and they ctually blocked emails. Many calls to District manager never returned calls and store manager lied about his position, stating the store manager was out on sick leave . Someone got a nice set of tires, just not us. Save yourself this disaster and get tires from a reputable company that doesn't lie and steal.

The guys here have gone above and beyond to help me lately. Left my Jeep with them today thinking it needed brakes and they were honest and didn t just sell me some when they could have. I even offered to pay them labor for checking them and they wouldn t take it. They also called a third party warranty company I have last week and essentially outsourced their work to a Jeep dealership when they didn t have to. Can t thank them enough.

We had an issue with our brakes on our Ford F250 and Rodney and his staff diagnosed the issues and got us back on the road quickly. They were very friendly and we will be back for further services . Highly recommend!

Monro used to be an outstanding business but has really gone downhill. My family and I have been customer for the past 10+ years and never had bad service till the past few month. We went to pick my car up today and I ask them to show the oil dipstick real quick just to make sure the car had plenty of oil. (the reason the car was there to begin with was due to a oil leak in the first place but they told me there wasn t and couldn t find anything wrong with the car.)The manager was probably thinking I couldn t hear and told a guy go check it and get the damn thing out of here . I was in shock and had my grandson to check it. Nobody ever did come to check the oil. Needless to say this will be the last time doing business with The Monroe on Bridgeport Hill. I have noticed others have had issue with them also. So I DO NOT recommend this Monroe to anyone thinking about going here to get any work done on your vehicle.Just to add the previous employee who s name is Ronnie is no longer there. He was the only one that actually knew what he was doing and actually cared. It s a circus now.

Worst service ever here! A friends car is being worked on here. They told him it would be ready at 4pm. So I gave him a ride to pick it up and his car was just being put on the lift. They said it would be done at 6pm. It is currently 6:51pm and we re still waiting on it. He has been inside a couple times and has not gotten an answer from the staff whether it will even be done today. (They close at 7pm). I personally have gotten vehicle maintenance done here a long time ago and it was always very quick and the service staff was great. It seems like this place needs better customer service representatives who know how to interact professionally with the customer.

I had my vehicle towed to their shop because it broke down due to the catalytic converter being clogged. It would still turn over and even run if you held on the gas. They drove my truck into the shop with the clogged catalytic converters, proving the truck was drivable though not recommended. I know this because they told me they drove the truck into the shop.I was shocked that they drove it into the shop after I had it towed for a reason. They then had me come to the shop and crank the truck up to show me that it could be driven. I knew it could be driven if forced, but I had enough sense to know that it wasn t a good idea with a clogged catalytic converter. Nonetheless, I turned the key as instructed and it wouldn t start but it did turn over. They said to hold the gas pedal down. Again I knew this wasn t normal but I m not the paid mechanic, so I did as instructed. At this time, the truck ran rough for about 30-45 seconds and then all of a sudden it started making all kinds of crazy breaking noises that sounded like something serious had broke. They started screaming to shut the engine off, so I did.I was concerned by these noises but they assured me that it was just my catalytic converters as suspected. I was ok with that and left with the assurance that my truck would be fixed shortly. I called them after a few days and found out that the motor was locked and they said that I blew it up when I cranked it in their shop. I was very upset with this accusation because I cranked the truck under their instruction. And with some reservation about the whole situation. I didn t know how to respond to them blaming me for blowing the engine, because I knew anything that came out was only gonna be anger, so I politely excused myself from the conversation and called the corporate office.So I called the corporate office and filed a claim against them. After a few days the adjuster ruled that the motor was locked up due to normal wear and tear. How convenient? I m not even sure he stepped foot on sight because when I asked their insurance agent why he ruled normal wear and tear. She said because it was a 2009. So basically, any older vehicle that your they break, their insurance company can just rule normal wear and tear, although the vehicle arrived in much better shape than its current condition. That s a pretty rotten deal. At worst, they should have totaled the truck.I m going to be reaching out to the better business bureau and my insurance company in hopes for some satisfaction.

Ronnie and the crew were exceptional. We were traveling from out of town on our way to Pennsylvania and my car broke down. We called this repair shop and Ronnie and the crew said they could look at my car. They went above and beyond to get my car fixed and back on the road. They even transported us from where we broke down to their shop!! I highly recommend this repair shop!! Thank you for all that you guys did! It was truly a blessing!!

Just needed an inspection sticker. It was 11:30am on a Sunday. As they are open till 5pm and I don't mind waiting.I didn't think something so fast and simple would be an issue. There were no other customers in the lobby.The employee was on the phone with an unhappy customer. He told her the tech that worked on her car wasn't there and he would have to call her back. That should have been my first warning.When I advised him what I needed. He replied they had a call-off and "His boss Vickie, told him they could not take anymore customers today". I have four vehicles that I was planning to pull from another service center to this one.. I will keep looking for a good garage..

They are amazing! Vicky went above and beyond. I made an appointment online and unfortunately when I arrived they was out of my tire. She done everything to make sure we was very happy and got us new tires on our car. They were all extremely friendly. The prices are very reasonable. This will definitely be our go to from now on!

We were traveling and got a nail in a tire. Advance Auto sent us up to Monro to get it fixed. Initially Monro refused to help 2 women with kids fix the flat and said it would be 2-3 hours to fix it. They wouldn't even give us plugs to fix it ourselves. So one of us ran down the hill to Advance Auto to buy the plugs. After watching us lay on the ground and struggle to get the plug in the flat tire, one of the workers brought out a portable air pump. He was confused using the car jack and completely failed to get the air chuck on the valve stem properly and couldn't air up the tire. Thankfully one of the other workers stepped in and helped at the point. Honestly, I would not recommend stopping here. I didn't expect immediate service, but there was a severe lack of professionalism and help.

always doing a good job on my oil changes ....edit --->..use to be a 6 star NOWWW. ..... NEW employees I guess , I went to change my breaks a Saturday stayed there from 3 -7 closing time just for them not to fix them , I could have left. I went the next day still couldn't get the part right. . Now Monday I would have expected a huge discount but went with the same price. Sad and disappointed. They never called me to let me know updated about My car I HAD TO CALL. They use to call if there was problems but hey new people new ways... made me wait a whole day there . For some break pad change... had to spend money on rides and apart from that like I said should have give me a bigger discount for MY money wasted .(no discount was given) sorry not sorry

I ve really tried to like this place. I went here for a year for almost all of my vehicle work but once last summer, they didn t tighten my lug nuts after working on my car. I brought it back, had them tightened and thought it was a one time mistake. But I had work done again and while driving my car home for the holiday, I found that 2 lug nuts had been sheered completely off and all my other lug nuts were only hand tight. This was the result of the lug nuts never being torqued on and could have killed me as I was on the highway when I realized there was an issue.

I'd definitely recommend them to any and everyone. I travel and they went above and beyond to get both of my trucks road ready for the next trip. Vicki is amazing and the guys in the shop give you a speedy and quality service that's worry free. I'd certainly go out of my way to come back here.

On a cross-country trip, my car's brakes overheated and locked up driving through Bridgeport. Vicky and the staff were beyond accommodating. They made getting me safely back on the road a priority, for a price that couldn't be beat!

The worst service I ve ever had!!! They kept my car 3 days and sent me home 3 different times after picking the car up telling me my car was fixed and the parts were on it.Only after my dad went in and made them lol at it did they finally admitt my rotors, tire rods, ball joints and breaks were NOT done.

I made an appointment for my car, and they told me it would be done the next day. Every day I called for updates, that would tell me that they would finish it the next day. A week later, after I call them again (they didn't call me to tell me), they decided they weren't gonna do it. I've been without a car for a week just for them to tell me they won't do it. Monro is useless, I should've listened to the people warning me about them.

We were on the way to a funeral down south when our vehicle started wobbling on the highway. Turns out the belt in the tire went bad. We were able to get two new tires very quickly and for a very reasonable price, and get back on the road to get going again. A big thank you to the workers for being so understanding.

The worse service I ve had I had my tires replaced there and they told me a price for all four tires. After they put the tires on, my wife went to pick the car up due to me working and they added $150 additional cost of extras knowing that they could pull it off being I was not there. Would not recommend the service to anyone.That is not the only thing. I walked in for my lined up appointment and they didn t have my tires there. It took additional days to get the tires in.

I own a used car dealership. My mechanic was not able to fix a problem with my BMW because he did not have the right equipment. Vicky handled the problem for me at Monro. I was very pleased with her skills and customer service. Problem corrected. I am just disappointed I can't find her on Facebook to be friends.
