Just had a very bad experience with them. Took a business car in for breaks and rotors. They said it needed control arms too. I paid the $1900 and we picked the car up. On the way back one of the front tires comes loose and starts wobbling. So we had to take it back. The gentleman I spoke to there said we need to take it somewhere else and to bring the CC I paid with in and they would refund the money for the control arms and labor, because that wasn't the problem.I go in, and they refuse to refund the money after they told me to come by. Terry (person in charge) said the guy I was speaking to "doesn't know what he's talking about".I would avoid this business like the plague. Internal conflicts of the business shouldn't be pushed on their clients. Bad business.

Had an appointment for and alignment and to get 4 new tires put on my truck, my appointment was at 7:30 am on a Saturday morning, people who were there after me getting tires done were out before I was, and my truck was never aligned. Absolutely ridiculous charging me for the alignment and never doing it but saying it was. That's some shady work, wouldn't recommend taking a bicycle here let alone your daily driver car/truck

I made an appointment to have 4 tires put on at 1pm. At 3 p.m., they were still working on it. It shouldn't take 2+ hours to put on 4 tires. A few people even came in after me and were done faster. They finally got done at 3:25 pm.The waiting room is also dirty, and the chairs are pretty uncomfortable to sit in for 3 hours.I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This would be the second time I have gone to these guys for a tire rotation, balance, and alignment. Only this time I took my truck to them with a lift kit on it and was concerned about the job being done right because others told me they were not equipped to do the job. Glotfelty assured me they could do the job and do it right. When I got my truck back it drove straight as an arrow and the steering wheel no longer shook. Thanks guys!

So I scheduled an appointment with them to get some tires mounted and balance. I also wanted an alignment, I was given a quote of 160.00 dollars for everything. When I took the car in they proceed to tell me my lower ball joints were bad so they couldn t do the alignment. So I asked them to just mound and balance the tires. When it was check out time my bill was 191.09. I asked about the charges but got no answers. They charged me 31.80 for valve stems which didn t need changed and weren t changed. I know they weren t changed cause I marked them with white out inside the caps before I visited the store.They also charged me 20.00 dollars for a tpms reset which they didn t do cause I let air out off the rear tire and it was saying it was the front tire. So now my tpms sensors are reading on the wrong tires. I was also told that Mount and balance was 150.00 but yet you can do a mount balance and alignment for 160.00? I was refunded 81.41 which was the right thing to do and that s the only reason I gave one star! If you use them for anything make sure to watch out for these tricks to get you for extra money! I will never use them for anything else nor will I recommend them to anyone! Stay away from the business!

Called a few places to get an alignment done on my car. Glotfelty was able to get me in on Thursday. Every place else was a week or two out, or I could come and wait. Took about 35 mins to get done and was a good price. 100% satisfied.

5 stars for the quality of work and 1 star for the respect for customers' time. This is the only shop that seems capable of touching my tires or alignment and it rides like new. But every visit is an all-day experience and listening to others in the waiting room, wait time is a top complaint. As just one instance, had a 2pm appointment. After 1.5 hours, asked for a status and was told there were still 4 in queue in front of me and it would be another hour before they'd start. As I continued to wait outside, watched new customers show up and their vehicles were promptly taken in to be worked. I took 2 hours vacation from my job to have it wasted while my truck sat where I parked it. I guess appointments are just an invitation to the back of the line. No other shop has my trust in their work like Glotfelty, but might be time to keep looking.

Always have had good experience with a couple of different cars. Saved me a $1,000+ after an exorbitant dealer estimate on malfunctioning warning lights Told me if the job was beyond scope of their service. Recommended. Easy in and out for regular maintenance.

I give this place 3 stars. I've never had issues there but I have friends and family that have. Also my work vehicles go there once a month. There been times where I've called weeks later to see the date that we had them there for service and they had no record in their system. However like I've said I have had good service everytime I've been there and if you have a complaint I'm sure they will take care of it. Really easy to get into and they usually can get parts in pretty quickly.

Good price to have my truck alignment done. Only 15 minutes of difference from the time i was told it would be done to when it was done. Few hundred miles later and the truck still tracks nice and strait. Time is valuable and so is good work. I am very pleased with my visit.

Dirty waiting room, took hours to get 4 tires put on my company truck, didn't put the spare tire back up under the truck after installing the new tires, rude rep up front. Not a tactful or professional place of business.

First one in the waiting room at 7:30 am to get a tire patched. Watched about 10 people come and go in that time. Went up at 11 am to ask for an update and he said it s been ready for a while. Do you guys not let customers know when they re vehicles are ready???? Was sitting in the waiting room the entire time and not one person came back and called me. If you didn t get a phone number from them chances are they re there waiting on it. Thanks for wasting my entire morning for a $20 tire patch that took three and a half hours.Response to owner: I can assure you, if I feel like having my time wasted again, I ll be back ; )

The last two times I ve had my oil changed in my work truck it s been a complete headache. The first time they forgot to put my oil cap on so the engine leaked a quart of oil out onto my exhaust manifold. The second time which was Friday, July 8 2022, I was there 3 hours for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation appointment. After it was completed, I opened my hood to check my engine oil level and fill cap. Cap was there but my oil level was a quart low. I asked how many quarts was put back in, they said 6 and my engine holds 7. They didn t reset my oil life indicator or put a oil change sticker on my windshield. My wheels where very dirty with no handprints on them. So it s very unlikely they rotated my tires. I will discourage anyone from using there services anymore. If you do use them, I would double check everything they touch!!! Also while waiting in the very dirty waiting room I watched two mice run out of the childrens play section and go behind a book shelf. I told the people at the front desk they had a mouse problem. They just said, they needed to get that taken care of. I felt like they where already aware of this issue and haven t done anything about it.

The work is always great. I have not had bad equipment or service in the past 13 years. The guys are sometimes a little sour, but they are rushed. No matter the amount of work though, they do it all correctly. I am guilty of calling and squeezing in an appointment on a book day. Sorry about that guys, but I appreciate your work.

I've been doing business with them for 17 years. (Before they were even Glotfelty). It's largely the same staff that I've trusted for the whole time I've done business there. They're honest and fair on pricing. They do their best to service you promptly if you have to wait. They do a full line of service besides tires, basically anything in the chassis (brakes, front end components, shocks, oil change and maintenance, etc. I would recommend them!

I originally went in for a tire to be mounted and balanced. They informed me that I needed 2 tires and alignment. I made the appointment for the alignment. When I went to pay, the gentleman told me that they had gone ahead with the alignment because it was so bad that it wouldn't be safe to drive the car. But that I needed to have the outer tie rod changed. I would have to have it realigned after the tie rod was fixed. And that when I had the work done, to bring it back and they would do it for free. I could not have afforded to have the car realigned and I truly appreciated this gesture.Their staff are friendly and helpful. Very professional, while maintaining the small town atmosphere. There work is top of the line and their prices are the best you will find when you shop around. I highly recommend these folks for anyone's tire needs.

Price was good. Service was timely. Representatives were friendly. It all seemed fine until I got home and seen damage on two chrome rims that are no longer produced. Then, I rechecked the torque on my lugnuts, and they were over specifications.

Last time going to Glotfelty. I have bought tires from them 3 or 4 times and each time i had to wait over 2 hrs to get the tires put on. They don't take appointments. I was told first come first served. This last time I made sure I was the first customer there. I arrived at 7:15 and was the first customer through the door at 7:29. It took over 1.5 hours to get 4 tires put on. Way to long for tires to be installed. I think better service should be given to a customer when they spend over $1000 each time they walk through your door. Update. July 11. Thanks, Glotfelty, for your response. I'm glad you mentioned tpms calibration. Your mechanics did not do that this time or the time before. The previous time I had them do it before I left your parking lot, this time I went home and did it myself with the $10 dollar relearn tool I ordered from Amazon a while ago, 2 minutes max for me to do it. I rotate my own tires and the torque is 140 ft lbs for my truck. To tighten the lugs down to proper torque does not add any more time to the job and your techs did not calibrate the tpms and still took over 1.5 hours. Please have your manager Joel educate your techs on calibrating all tires before they leave the shop bay. Those 2 extra minutes would go a long way in customer satisfaction.

Had an issue with my michelin tires wearing out at 24000 miles.Got a case number from michelin and glotfelty was nearest dealer to look at tire wear. Noone seemed interested in helping . One guy came out and looked at them . Was told it was a waste of time and the tires was still good. Called Michelin and was redirected to Appalachian Tire who measured the tread to find the tires were 3/32 and need replaced . They jumped right into it and took care of the warranty which was on all 4 tires. I recommend Michelin but not Glotfelty tire center

Had an appointment for 1030 was advised to show up early in case they could get it in sooner. I was there at 730 am. That s on me. Truck went back at 1145 and I pulled out at 145 pm. At 150 to Mount and balance 4 35 in tires and a $70 alignment.

Very nice people!! Had 6 TRUCK TIRES replaced for less than 600 bucks!!Beyond that, the staff was very polite and accommodating. The waiting room is very well maintained and has a snack machine and television to make your wait hurt a little less.Good place to get tires!!

I took my 2000 Cavalier there for suspension work, alignment and tire rotation. They were very courteous, quick and I trust their work. I've had one or two good experiences before with Glotfelty. Great place for small repairs, and the cost was reasonable.

I've dealt with them many times in the past at the Bridgeport store and had really good service however the past couple of times I tried to get a quote for tires I submitted the request and I never got an answer at all. The estimated time for their response came and went weeks ago and I still haven't seen anything from them.I figured I'd give them a 2nd shot after the last time but I'm looking else where for tires now and will not go back to them.

I want to give a big Thank You to the crew at the Bridgeport WV location for going above & beyond for getting my car fixed in a expedient manner so I could drive safely to Florida today.
