Basic oil change prices are reasonable. I had an appointment scheduled in advance, but due to unforeseen circumstances I'm already an hour behind. The air conditioning is out in the lobby. If you want quick service and free soda, Pennzoil in Princeton has the fastest service for a higher price. Usually Meineke runs smoothly and has free oil changes on Veterans Day.

The service at Meineke was great. I needed all four brakes and rotors changed. The price they quoted me was over $200 cheaper than the car dealership where I typically have work done. I was able to get an appointment quickly that worked well for my schedule. The drop off was convenient and quick. Once they started working on my car they found something else that needed repaired and called to confirm before adding the additional costs. They repaired my brakes in a timely manner. They also did a courtesy check of my car and found a tail light out that I didn't even know about! When it was time to pick up my car they explained the warranty in detail and made sure I didn't have any questions. The people who helped me were friendly and made sure I was satisfied with my service before I left. I would recommend Meineke to anyone looking for fair Hometown service! Service: Brakes

The mechanic went above and beyond to help us with a speedy oil change. Not only did he change our oil but replaced zip ties for a panel that was screwed in and zip tied underneath my car. I wasn t even aware of it ( we bought the car used) but thankful he pointed it out and repaired it. We will definitely be coming back for all of our oil changes. Thanks!Service: Oil change

I have been to a certain location before with Excellent customer service. So when I needed something done. I called the same locations phone number. Made appointment. I forgot to ask a question so I called before my appointment time. Only to be told that the location I called an made appointment at was no longer open. And they just moved my appointment to a location that is almost a hour away.

Great place to go. I went in for an inspection sticker and had a few questions about my check engine light. Luther was so nice and showed me what could be causing the warning light. I would like to thank Luther and his employees. They have done an amazing job with all my vehicles. I have brought all my vehicles down once I brought them and I have never had to take them to the dealership to be service. Luther has always treated me and my family as if we were his own. I have used Meineke as my primary repair shop for both my vehicles for many years and am generally well pleased with their service. So when I needed my brakes done before leaving on vacation I took my car to them. This time I was less than pleased. I was told the repairs would take approximately one hour and forty-five minutes... but I waited four hours! I was on time for my appointment and they took the car right in. I was never given an update or explanation why it took so long.Generally I ve found Meineke s prices to be reasonable and very competitive, but my brake service was almost seven hundred dollars... about triple what I was expecting. Admittedly I m no expert, but that seems really high to me and put a big dent in our vacation plans.I assume the work was done right and will last. That has been my experience with Meineke in the past. Time will tell. But for now, I m less than pleased with this experience.Service: Brakes

The shop completed 5 different tasks in a single day. The service man (even though it's required) came out to explain my alignment to me. I feel like I got the value of what I spent. I had a great first impression of Luther. Through our conversation he is a mechanic of over 30 years of experience was in the military and is a man who enjoys his craft. He has a no nonsense hard work ethic but is fair with a willingness to go over and above a call of great customer service. Took my truck in to get a front end alignment.These people are so awesome ! They were unable to do the alignment when i first brought it in due to me needing a few parts. Completely understandable. The lady at the front was so nice . She printed me a paper off telling me the parts i needed to replace and i came back in about a week later and they got me in and out in a timely manner considering how busy they were. Very informative crew as well. Will def be going back and recommending to family/friends

Meineke Car Care of Bluefield West Virginia has been my go-to and now my only go-to for services when I need anything involving the upkeep of my personal vehicle. Luther the General Manager at this location has been amazing at getting my vehicle back on the road and inspecting my vehicle when paranoia hits. A few weeks back I started a long and traitorous journey with Carvana where I am currently on my fourth vehicle with the company. Each vehicle had been thoroughly inspected to a T, and although a preferred mechanic shop through Carvana. They still did everything required to not only ensure the quality of the vehicle but did testing on everything to ensure that the vehicle would not only be a good fit but that everything was in working order, even when I was concerned there was an issue. Meineke has been a blessing, and I'm thankful to have them. Furthermore, they have been very understanding when it comes to any concerns that I do have and continue to have. The sweet lady, I m so sorry I can t remember her name, was so attentive and helpful! She waited on me right away and fit me in perfectly! I live away and mentioned that I was going to see my mother and also my father who is in a nursing home. She was so compassionate and told me she would call me right away when my car was ready, but I could take my time picking it up so that I would have a good visit. When I picked up my car, she told me exactly what it needed, which was the brake pads replaced desperately soon. She wasn t pushy about it at all, just concerned. She also told me of a sale that was going on on services at the moment. We moved away over a year ago, but because the people are so friendly, the service so good, and the prices reasonable, we come back to this Meineke for service when in town to visit family. Thank you for a job well done!

Luther is very knowledgeable and well experience in vehicle care. He explained things in detail about what needed to be replaced on my vehicle. Luther went from answering phone calls and setting appointments to working in the garage. He broke everything down and even explained warranties. I am a woman. I have taken my vehicles here for years now and have never been over charged nor have I been charged for something I don t need. They have always explained what I needed first before they done the job. The price beats anyone around. They get me in as soon as they can. They feel like family. I get my oil changed here and they have been particularly helpful with three leaking tires. Twice, there were little bits of metal and the third time was a carpet tack that went straight into the tire. They told me there was no way I ran over that. My son was working at a metal fabricating shop so I could have picked up the little bits there. The counter staff and the workers have all been pleasant, very polite and extremely helpful. I would recommend them highly but I would also recommend you make an appointment.

Luther has been honest and knowledgeeach time I have been there. The first time was anEmergency Battery Repair, he stayed open just untilthe Tow Truck could jump the battery off.The 2nd time the Water Pump, Serpentine Belt,and Pulley had to be replaced as a Emergency.This last time Front Brakes and Rotors were checkedand Replaced. I had an oil change at the Bluefield West Virginia Meinicke. They were so nice and so helpful! I was pressed for time because my dog had swallowed something and had to get to the vet, so they took the car right away and did the oil Change and they realized I needed an air filter and got that change for me also, and of the door to go get my dog and get her to the vet. I am so grateful for them being so nice and understanding and getting my car done as fast as they did! I highly recommend them and the sweet staff!

I've use Meineke a few times now and every time they've delivered amazing service. The first time I took my Camaro in, one of the guys gave me a tip about premium gas in Virginia (we had just moved here), along witha couple other things to keep my 2013 Camaro in good shape. And then when we did a mjor tuneup to our Subaru before selling it, they went over it so it would be in top condition for selling. Top notch, affordable, and trustworthy service if you don't have to take your car to the dealership for warranty coverage.And extra kudos for knowing what my license plate meant. :)Services: Auto tire replacement, Auto maintenance, Oil change

This is the first time I've ever been to a Meineke. They were super helpful, walked me through everything I needed done and even gave me a detailed list of what everything costs.My uncle is a mechanic and always worked on my car. So, I've never had to go to a regular garage for maintenance. Unfortunley for me, he now lives in Florida. I was worried about being ripped off or overcharged since I'm a female going into a garage but they were great. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

I swore off this place a few years ago because I did not like the owners. I went in for a check engine light and was well taken care of! I found out that there are new owners with new management...and it shows! Very honest shop now and doesn't seem to nickel and dime you to death! Luther was excellent and now highly recommend and will be coming here more frequently. Thank you Luther!

Was having issues with lights on my car. Had taken my car to 3 mechanics trying to get the issue resolved who also told me I needed front and rear brakes on my car. Went to Meineke in Bluefield WV for oil change prior to getting anything fix on my car. The inspection report from Meineke shows that everything on my car was great. They checked all the green boxes. Wish I could post the report with the others I received compared to the one Meineke gave me. When I got my brakes changed the following week the mechanic showed me how in desperate need I was for brake pads. Front and rear brake pads were down to the metal. So, is Meineke really inspecting our cars? This is proof to me that they did not inspect my car at all. However, the oil and filter had been changed.

Manager was hateful and rude when we wouldn't let them do $3100 worth of work, when we only took it in to have brakes put on. Have had other issues too. But all I can say is take you vehicles someplace else, they will try to make you replace stuff that isn't necessary,and will then refuse to do the work you took it in for.

The people that work there are the nicest. They took the time to explain the problem, they walked me through the best way to fix my vehicle. I appreciate everything they did for me, they made me feel 100%, that when I leave I can go across the country and my vehicle will make it, because they did it correctly.
