My husband and I got stuck on the interstate with a broken windshield blade in the dark and rain. Lenny helped us find the right size and change out the blade even right before closing. Saved a very very important road trip back home to see family. THANK YOU!!!!

Lenny the store Associate should not be in a customer service. He straight out said I don t feel like going in the back to get that so you can compare.

2 of the guys behind the counter need a crash course in customer service. You don't let a customer stand unattended while 2 of you look on the computer. Then when the phone rings you answer that call and ignore the same customer waiting to check out. In the last year the service has just went lower than low. The only bright spot I see is a new employee named Darrell. Going to be a long time before I go back though.

Purchased a replacement cabin air filter online, for pickup, but once I arrived at the store was told the item was actually sold out. Before I had time to get annoyed, the manager (?) said he was subbing in a higher-end, more expensive filter they DID have in stock. Sweet! Thank you, AAP. Thanks, too, for being open on Sunday, the day people who don't work on cars work on their cars.

Thank you so much Cayman ! My mom broke down in her town of Berkeley Springs and I am far away in Baltimore...Cayman talked to me over the phone briefly, understood my request and assisted my mom and her vehicle to get back on the road back home !! Forever grateful <3

I am confused? I went in to buy a rear wiper blade and they asked for my phone number for perks program I dont have one. He said I can put you in the system and I said no thanks just needed the wiper blade. He said he could not do anything unless I was in the system? What? He could not sell it? Absolutely ridiculous I left without what I needed. I am a local and needed a part, not a bunch of emails and telemarketing calls after I am put in the system. You can t sell me a part unless I join the perks system? Again absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time.

There was a time not long ago that I wouldn't shop here. Who knew it took a pandemic to change the attitude of the help or it's probably because this store is in West Virginia where people are kinder then the ones in Northern Virginia.

If I could give zero stars I would. Not sure if it s because I m a woman or what, but the two gentlemen working could barely look up to acknowledge me, let alone help me with my problem, or be courteous in any way. I m here because I m having car trouble and am already very frustrated, I didn t need a lack of service from two jerks.

Nice older man in the evening working very polite. Got what I needed and it was right the first time. Still good service alot faster than my previous visit thats a plus had the parts I needed good job.

Went to leave work and battery dead in my Titan jumped it ran home grabbed battery out and rushed to Advance in Berkeley Springs. Literally in and out in 5 mins. Very helpful lady had me all done and back out the door so I could get it back together for next days work!!!

At the time of my visit, just before 11a, 3 people were working, one was working register 2 others were roaming around the back doong various things. One from the back had to answer the phone for a customer question and when he went to go look for product or answer, team member was m/f'in customer on the phone. After phone rang a second time another team member came to answer, took care of phone and then checked me out with my one item. Total time in store due to extensive parts list from customer in front of me was probably 10 minutes

my wife and children were trying to get to me in the hospital in Winchester and had to stop here and pick up a headlight bulb. she kindly asked for help looking for the bulb they told her they didn't have time. so she looked it up then asked if anyone could help her figure out how to put it in. the jerk at the counter replied theres no one here who would do that for you! then he handed my wife's items to some guy in line behind her. luckily that customer understood the danger of driving at night with only one light and helped her so they could safely get to me, who again was in the hospital. beware no customer service they are only there for a pay check! stay away!

Muffler head come off my car I went into Advance Auto very helpful very informative and they actually had a muffler in stock to fit my car really good service knowledgeable people large inventory on hand

Walked in looking for a pair of Sylvania's top bulbs in size H-11....I was going to look through their book that was hanging from the shelf... But it was too old. I determined what they size they were supposed to be via Google.... Well, they were out of stock on the 2-pack and only had one of the single pack...So I gave up on that purchase from here.Then I went to check out wiper blades but... For my newer vehicle I recently purchased, I did not know what size they were.... So I went to the electronic wiper blade look up device hanging on the peg hooks.... It said to hit start... The word start and any other word on that keypad has been wore off.... I quickly tried all the other buttons... the unit never came on...I gave up.One would think that the product vender rep for these products would keep up-to-date parts lookup books and functional, readable electronic lookup devices on the shelf... The manager better get busy and get the vender reps in there to take care of it... Or whoever takes care of it....I was not impressed at all.... Looking to buy a pair of halogen bulbs... $504 wiper blades at $16 each--$642 license plate covers at $9ea $18.... Yeah... A $132 sale just went out the door... I would be hard pressed to come back.Never was acknowledged by the staff.

Came here twice now. Each time a certain employee who acts much more elderly the he looks and seems to not know anything about automobiles. First, he couldn't find the plug in my truck that you use to plug in the computer that checks to see what's wron&g. Also, I asked if he knew why my truck didn't have a USB port while my father-in-laws truck that is exactly the same year and model as mine does. His answer? I don't know. When I asked of he knew what I needed to put one in the truck and he did not know that either.My second time, I needed a blinker bulb for the front of our truck. I basically had to show him what to click on when he was on the computer trying to look it up. A 5 minute job took nearly 15 minutes.The people are friendly though eventhough some act like they wish they were someplace else.

Cashier's have very little knowledge on automobiles. You can ask them for a part and the cashier has no clue what your talking about.

I stopped at the Advance Auto while passing through Berkeley Springs on January 5 to purchase a de-icer for my windshield wipers. Can't say enough about the young man who took the time to go out to my car and knock the thick ice off my windshield wipers which had accumulated while driving for several hours through freezing rain. He went above and beyond!
