As someone who combs through reviews before purchases & such, I cannot stress the importance of listening to what the people say!!!!! I highly regret not checking out the reviews for this junky place before I too, have been royally screwed over with my 2022 Outlander. I've had Mitsubishis in the past with no issues & my MIL actually recommended this location so I didn't think much about it....until the break squeaking got out of control. We were told the vehicle had set & had some rust build up, just give it time. By the time we went for our FIRST "complimentary" oil change, they seriously recommended replacement of the back brake pads AND rotors! What? How do you purchase a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander in Sept 2023 & by March, it's metal to metal? I'll tell you. The entire spiel of a 31 point certified inspection was a bold face lie! Wouldn't such an inspection reveal the condition of said brake pads & rotors? YES. But that's not it, folks. We also just had to replace the battery a couple days ago for $270! Yet another thing a true 31 point inspection would've shown, right? There's certainly a battery health section so I know I'm not crazy. All together, we're on the hook for almost $1000 worth of work this service department failed to correct. It's a shame to get fraud lawyers involved, but that's where I'm at bc Moutaineer Mitsubishi's service department acknowledges nothing. This is fraud, plain & simple & a total disrespect to people spending their hard earned money for junk!!!! Do NOT entertain this place unless you want taken for a ride too.

Professionalism at an all time high. No corners were cut, our salesman went over and beyond to accommodate and make us feel at ease with the financial side and the specs spectrum of all angels. Will be spreading the words. Way to go Mountaineer Mitsubishi!Salesman Bruce Dickerson

When I say this place knows how to take care of customers it's an understatement. I have a Volkswagen ID4 & i was traveling & needed a charge. My car directed me here. I called to verify they had public charges and I spoke to Jeremy. He explained they did & come to service dept. Upon our arrival he met us in parking lot, directed us to charge & plugged us up. It was a slow charger but it worked out perfect. I was a non- customer who had not purchased anything from them. I asked Jeremy did he know of any places in walking distance to get food. He said no place i would walk to a there are no sidewalks. He then appeared and said I will take you guys to get food, drop u off and come back. We said no we can get to go. For him to do all this for someone who was a non customer, image how they will treat you if your a paying customer. In his own words, "I'm happy to help and see people happy" I would recommend this dealer all day long. Thank you again for all your kindness.

My experience so far with Mountaineer Mitsubishi has been a good one. My first service was scheduled for a Saturday, and the wait was short. The customer representative at the desk was friendly and knowledgeable when I asked a question about future service on my vehicle.

i had an issue with my car and brought it here, they cleared it said all i needed was new tires. just for us to wreck and find out the issue was a lot worse then we thought. Me and my two kids could have died over their negligence.

Frist, I want to say that when we bought the 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross from the Crab Orchard, WV lot, we were treated very well. However, in 2022 the car started to burn oil. We had the vehicle into the service department on Eisenhower Drive many times for this issue, and had to do oil consumption tests time and time again. Over the course of the next nine months and into 2023, the vehicle continued to burn oil. Finally, the early part of 2023, the service department replaced the turbo and said the vehicle was fixed. Approximately 2700 miles later, the engine was dry on oil yet again, so it's safe to assume the Turbo wasn't the problem. Once again, I took the vehicle to the service department. I was told that there was a pin hole in one of the hoses, and that they replaced the hose and the problem was fixed. I know this was not the reason for the oil loss as the asphalt driveway where the vehicle was parked had no oil on it, and the engine was clean (no oil sprayed out onto the engine). I tried to talk to Mitsubishi Customer service, and all they gave me was a bunch of lip service, and never actually did a thing other than waste my time. I tried and tried to get the problem fixed, which, by the way was under warranty, and Mountaineer Mitsubishi service department would not do it. I had to finally trade the vehicle in order to get something I thought was dependable, a Ford Bronco (which has a whirring sound when put into reverse and backing up, so I'm forced to return to this ill equipped service department again), and go into debt several more years. So folks, please please, I beg you, DO NOT PURCHASE A MITSUBISHI (as there are hundreds of reviews online about engines burning oil and Mitsubishi evidently won't recall the problem cars), and DO NOT USE MOUNTAINEER MITSUBISHI service department. While they appear to be very nice people, their service department sucks! P.S. Also, I had to rent my own car, ad they did not or would not give me a loaner vehicle this last time and so in addition to the additional cost of a new vehicle, I'm out roughly a thousand dollars for a rental vehicle. Update: 5-25-2023 - I received a response from the dealership to contact them and they would work with me to remedy the issues. However, I have tried multiple times to contact the GM at the dealership. A couple of times, his voicemail box was full so I couldn't leave a message, then finally the mailbox accepted a message from me, but as of today's date, I have not received a call back. (note that I had to leave voice mail because he never answered the phone). As it stands now, it appears to me that the positive response to my review, was just a show to get people to think they are trying to take care of their customers. If in fact they do call me back, and try to make things right, I will edit this review. However, at this point, I highly doubt anyone will contact me. I feel that that they've taken advantage of an older woman, and once the money passed hands, I'm on my own. I hope they prove me wrong and restore some of my faith in man kind, since this is how I get treated with just about every business transaction I attempt to make. Update 6-02-2023 - still no response from them regarding these events. I truly hope no one treats these people's mothers they way they have treated me.

This was the most stress free and fast and awsome experience i have ever had at purchasing a vehicle ever! The sales man, Zack McGinnis was the best salesman and kevin, the finance manager was awsome. They went above and beyond any dealership i have ever dealt with! The mountaineer Ford experience was Epic! I definitely would and will recommend them! Thanks Mountaineer Ford!!

Tim Parker has been great to work with. He went out of his way to help me out. I have been going here for some time now and all the interactions I've seen him have with his staff have been light and professional.Staff are polite and friendly. They are quick to greet you. The mechanics don't leave greasy fingerprints all over the inside of my truck. Great job!

Matt Burke was great to deal with when purchasing my truck. Made the experience quick and easy while giving me a great deal. Since purchasing the truck it has been in the service department a couple times for routine maintenance and warranty work. Tim, the Service Manager, and his group of mechanics have always been polite and quick to address the particular issue and get the truck in and out quickly for any work. Highly recommend

Mountaineer's service is unequivocally second to none. All members of this service team are dedicated to putting customer's needs above all else. Tim Parker is by far the most professional and knowledgeable service manager I have ever encountered. He will always ensure that you are a priority and get you back on the road as soon as possible. From the minute you step foot through the doors, you're every need is catered to. Your vehicle will be taken care of quickly, efficiently, and at a reasonable cost. I recommend that you use Mountaineer Mitsubishi for all of your service and sales needs. They are all top notch in every way.

We have brought our family vehicle to this shop multiple times for repairs, tires, and routine oil changes. Each visit, we receive exemplary care. The service manager-Tim Parker, always speaks to us to ensure our satisfaction. Due to his emphasis on customer service, we will continue to return.

Mountaineer is a great dealership. They handle a corporate account I m associated with and they always go the extra mile to make sure we are taken care of. The service manager, Tim, especially makes sure to communicate with me and get our units taken care of in the fastest way possible. They definitely care about their customers!

Called Saturday spoke to salesman told him what kind of vehicle I was looking for. He had 1 and was waiting on me soon as I pulled in. James was a great salesman polite, didn't take forever to purchase the vehicle. Now here's the bad can never get thru when calling dealership. Called and called. They still owed me a detail and one of the clips on the bumper was broke. I could push it in and it would stay for awhile. I dropped it off last night. Went to pick it up today. Maybe I don't know what a detail is but their version is clean the sticker off the window and spray shine on the tires. The inside was not touched. The service department told James that they put a new clip on the bumper. James also told them to fill my gas up. Service department did neither. I was cleaning the inside myself and noticed the bumper was still pushed out. Their service department did not put a clip on it at all. Will be going back for 3rd time in the morning. I presume I need to watch them put it on. Salesman great, service department horrible. Another lady that was there, had her vehicle 2 weeks has not touched it. Won't purchase another vehicle there due to service department. Manager nice as well.

The Mountaineer dealership is a pleasure to work with. From their sales team to their service department, it all runs very smoothly. Their service department works tirelessly to ensure that all repairs and services are carried out swiftly and appropriately from start to finish. They even offer shuttle services to those needing to leave the dealership during their vehicles repair while providing accommodations for those waiting on their vehicle. 10/10 would purchase or get repairs done there again!

While my salesman when I bought the car in August 2020 was very nice and patient the total experience was unpleasant for a number of reasons.My issue now is that my car needs repairs under warranty and they do not work on vehicles on Saturdays. So, they expect people to take a day off from work for repairs on a new car.I called service and left a message but no one returned my call.They made an exception for me to bring the car after work (fortunately I get off at 3 pm) but I will have to make 2 trips to a dealer 40 min from me and spend two afternoons there.Not happy. Do not recommend.

Had service, expected the check engine light to be off. Front tire was low to 25 pds pressure. Had to pump it up to take it home. I guess the battery had to be disconnected at some point, making the time needing to be reset. Minor infractions, but service matters. I requested no car wash because of the damage to fender from an accident that wont be repaired until June 6th.

Went in for my first service since buying my new car, when I purchased the car they were great, one of the reasons I purchased the vehicle was because Bill Wise treated me with respect and kindness and impressed me. Very different treatment in the Service department. The Mitsubishi service is done in the jointly owned Ford garage and the blonde haired woman that was the service writer was rude and very unfriendly, when I asked her about the coupons for services I had received in mail she said unless I have them with me I can't use them. So i pulled the coupons up on the internet and asked another person and he told me no problem that is standard for all Mitsubishi owners, free 27 point inspection with any service. Needless to say I will not be driving an hour to get the service done for my car in the future, I can be treated rudely closer to home. Also will stop referring people to dealership.

This is the worst dealership and service dept I have ever had to deal with. Bought my wife a 2020 limited Explorer that has been in the shop here several times since our purchase. Their quick to sale you junk...but don't wanna fix it or replace it when the trash the sale won't run. I'll never buy from here again and I advise you to shop elsewhere also.
