After trying to have a duplicate key made elsewhere that failed to work, I went to Valley Lock and Key and had success the first time. They were very professional with cheerful, fast service. Their location was a little challenging to find. They have a short sign sitting on the south side of Washington Ave that I didn t see. There business appears to be a small section of a large warehouse. They are directly across from the lumber company on Washington. If you want to save yourself some return trips for remakes, Go to Valley Lock and Key first.

Our service technician, Andrew, was incredible. He explained clearly our issue, and told us our options. He was fast and efficient. We will always choose them in the future for all our lock needs.

Had a very stressful situation where my key broke in my car door - I called around different shops and Valley Lock & Key were very personable and shared a couple of solutions for my problem. I was very pleased with how helpful all of y'all were to help me out. HIGHLY recommend - the pinnacle of great customer service

Great customer service. $150 versus $350 dealership price. I'll continue to get my keys and remote fob cut and programmed here. Thank you Valley Lock & Key. You have a returning customer.

I called to schedule and appointment in which James came out to in under 2 hours. Very professional and educational service. Not only did he know what he was doing but also took the time to educate me on the issue while also giving me options for fixing my problem. Fixed our lockout issue, re keyed our lock and put new batteries in my car remote. Very affordable price for the quality of service. Will be returning for future needs.Services: Lock rekeying, Car lockouts

I called to get my cargo carrier re keyed. Got it done next day. No messing around. Picked up after work. Service was fine, no issues... just how I like it. I would definitely go again( Although I hope I don't have to)

They wanted $279 for key fob.GM dealership wanted $170. They cost 100$ more than dealer crazy

I usually get good service. Went in on Friday to get spares.I was given dodge blanks for my chevy. I was told they'd work. They didn't. I went in today and they were exchanged for free. I wish this place was closer.

I had a key that was sheared off in the toolbox of my truck. They were able to make an additional key from my broken one! Other places around town couldn't do it! I'm quite happy with the service.....unfortunately 2 plain, simple keys were pretty expensive at $17! Still, they were able to do work that others couldn't. These guys are professional and good at what they do!

We need a new key for my daughter car, Ford Focus. So we couldn't have made a better choice in choosing Valley Lock and key. The gentleman that worked on programming the key was more than helpful. He was kind and considerate. He also explained a lot of what was going on. Then he went above and beyond what he needed to do. I've used other lock and key places. But Valley Lock and key is by far the best.

Very friendly staff, clean store and friendly helpful staff .. They know their stuff when it comes to keys of all kinds. masks required, photo id required, business address and name or residential address required. I believe that is all that is required but if in doubt just give them a call.

The service guy was very personable. Yet, made over 3 trips back to the shop for materials. Really like my lock setup!Ended up being about $50 more than was expecting.

I had great customer service a month ago, but today was a total bomb. He was so rude and argumentative with me. Finally resolved by a different sales representative. Thank you.

Valley Lock and Key is the place to get anything key or lock related items. Friendly staff who cuts key the old school way and it s much more precise. No waiting around a machine and hopefully an employee shows up like at a big box store.

The old man behind the desk is very rude. I will never ever use this shop for my business again.... Truly just unbelievably disrespectful to a paying customer. He needs to take a class on customer service or stay far away from the customers as that attitude will lose them a lot of business. I will be recommending Yakima lock and safe to everyone I know and making sure I steer everyone I know away from valley lock and key. Terrible business.

Got the products I needed, & I appreciate that just the customer relations part could use some work. I felt that I was more of an interruption to the day, or just not smart enough even though I was the one bringing in business.

Had 2 spare keys made it was fast and cheaper then I thought. Overall quality service with good prices highly recommend

Wonderful service! They were able to make keys stamped with numbers, which no one else in town was able to do. Super helpful staff, highly recommend for any keys you might need.

Very fast and reliable. The guy showed up within 30 mins(and I live in Wapato) and did the job that other locksmiths in Yakima said they wouldn't and couldn't do. Prices are very very reasonable! Thanks a lot for your help!

I worked with Valley Lock &Key for over 17 yrs haven't seen them in 5 yrs, they may have changed staff a bit, they still have the same caring attitude as when I last did business with them.Thank you for staying the same, I'll be back.

Great service from them had a broken key fob and they were able to help me with a spare where other place like dealership was charging 300 I got way better offer from valley lock would definitely recommend coming here before any other place

No show, No call, no nothing. Just totally neglected the job, and said, "well we just didnt have the personnel, but we can come out next week"... Then why accept the job for that day anyway if you werent going to do it. Please note this appointment was made 1 week in advance. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

I called to explain my emergency situation and they assured me they would be there at 9:00 a.m. the next day. I took off work to be there and they didn''t show up. I called at 9:30 and was told the locksmith had other jobs and would be there later in the day. I asked for a call back, which I did not receive until 11:15. By that time I had called Yakima Lock & Safe and they were just finishing up the job. WORST way to treat the customer - shame on you Valley Lock & Key! I am giving you one star ONLY because I couldn't put zero stars!
