I own a 2013 Subaru Outback that I purchased in 2015. I was due for my 60k maintenance service. After driving around town to several shops and getting estimates I stopped in at Rigby automotive to inquire about the service needed for my car. Well needless to say I made an appointment for my service and Roger ( the owner) dropped me off at work before he started working on my car. I arranged for a ride back to the shop to pickup my car after work and after I paid for my repairs I was ready to go. Just a side note, I've done my fair share of automotive work in my younger days and I am very picky on who I entrust working on my vehicles. I now trust Roger enough to request his assistance getting my 1970 Plymouth 340 Cuda running again. It has sit in storage for years and is in need of some mechanical love. I have owned this car since 1974 it is my high school/drag the ave car of which I have many fond memories. I look forward to driving my Cuda again after Roger gets done with it. Thank you Roger.

Took SEVEN months with very limited communication to get our vehicle back. It worked for a few weeks and then died. He is probably awesome at smaller jobs but not engine swaps. Worst experience.

Roger gives a very detailed explanation of what he finds when repairing or diagnosing my 2003 Volkswagen Jetta VR6. Since moving here, I've gone to him for my serpentine belt and tensioner when it blewon me, a small coolant pipe that was moderately leaking, and most recentley my AC compressor which was quoted readonably lower than one of the bigger companies that diagnosed the AC for repair cost for me. Absolutely the best auto shop I've ever worked with. Incredible pricing and very quick service. You can tell that Rigby is passionate about fixing cars and he does a wonderful job. I've taken many different vehicles here and my entire family takes our 3 2014+ Subarus here. Better and less expensive service then anywhere I've ever been, especially the dealership.

In a world where stories of bad mechanics who attempt to con their customer are all to common it's great to have a honest and very skillful option that you can trust will be accurate, fair and efficient. Rigby Automotive is the shop every automotive repair business should aspire to be like. These guys are dependable, honest and they do what they can to keep costs low. This is where I take my vehicles for repair and this shop is a valuable resource for Yakima. This is a no-brainer recommendation!!

Great guy. Super fair prices, quick to find the problem and fix it, and if he doesn't have what you need, he knows where to send you to do it yourself. Can't recommend him enough. If you feel like there's no honest mechanics in town, hit this place up and be prepared to be impressed!

Service was quick and the work was done right. Dropped of yesterday Afternoon and it was done this morning. Roger is honest and personable. I will go back every time I need work done. This was my first time at this shop and all my expectations were met. I will recommend this business to everyone.

My Thermostat had gone out. I repaired it on my own. It was a simple fix. That being said, my car continued to overheat and it became a problem I didn't have the expertise to diagnose. Rigby Automotive got my car in quickly and fixed it quickly. I'd describe them as Fast, Effective and Affordable. Thanks for fixing my car, guys!

I had him rebuild my transmission obviously they didn t know what they were doing it started rattling after six months I called them back they say they don t do transmissions anymore I can see why because they don t know what they re doing I had it done professionally they had the wrong bolts in flywheel there missing bolts in the fly wheel missing bolts in the bell housing and even a transmission mounting bolt was missing ! amateur work at Best
