Through multiple vehicles and many years, the amazing people at Performance have always taken care of us. The equipment is always excellent and the service side goes above and beyond at every interaction to make sure we are taken care of. Honest, well priced, fast, incredibly skilled and brimming with integrity. They are the only sure bet for auto sound and security systems.

We recently bought an Audi and it had a stereo system installed by another company and they did a terrible install job. Performance Audio fixed everything and added a Sirius tuner. I highly recommend them for all your audio needs. Excellent customer service and superior work.

Came in, picked the man behind the counter's brain, bugged the hell out of him with excessive amount questions and concerns. But he was cool and pointed me in the right direction. I left with a flagship Kenwood Excelon DNX995S head-unit and a Kenwood Excelon shallow 10" subwoofer. Good people, reasonable prices, extremely helpful and knowlegdable.

I had a wonderful experience there, they are very knowledgeable of equipment and systems, they ll give you information and suggestions on the systems that are best for you and the best prices. They have other products like cameras and lighting etc. I ve been to many other sound system places and they were shady and not very informative. Great easy access location, great displays in the showroom, friendly service.Thanks Dave for all your help!

Terrible customer service. Called to ask for literally one thing and that was the dash kit for my car. The sales associate responds condescendingly and insists to do the install for me even though I ve done the install plenty of times. He then kept trying to have me buy stuff that I don t need and assumed that I didn t know what I was doing and still wouldn t answer my question. I got fed up and hung up the phone. Worst place for car audio. Don t waste your time, instead go to Audio Solutions where they actually know what they re doing.

Went in with some wiring problems from another shop. Dave s service was incredible. He was able to take a quick look and told me exactly what was wrong. For sure coming back to get everything working.

Absolutely amazing!Dave is very knowledgeable in his craft this place is blessed to have such an amazing tech as himself he was able to get my new stereo in no problem and hooked me up for sure. Even tho the stereo was more work for him he went out of his way to help me out.Definitely buying all my future systems from this store because your not only buying quality your buying the experience of a very knowledgeable technician that I recommend to absolutely anyone very satisfied with my choice in choosing Performance Auto and Sound!

Dave is the MAN!!!Performance Auto Sound installed my car starter/alarm three years ago.I recently moved to Puyallup WA and it stopped working. Everyone here wanted to charge me $600+ but Dave was able to help me over the phone.I highly recommend this establishment and if you need anything go see the man Dave Thank you Dave

I had an electrical issue with my truck from an after market stereo install (not by this shop). We all know how big of a deal that can be.They got me in right away, and fixed the problem in about an hour.Their price was very fair and excellent customer service!

Absolutely 10/10 for these guys. Highly recommend, I have had nothing but great experiences here. My whole family has used them to make upgrades and whatnot to our cars trucks and boats. I had them instal a stereo and backup camera and they did a great job, the camera stopped working not too long after and they were able to get me in and took care of it no problem in a very timely manor! Great service great people! Thanks guys!!!

This is an excellent store--they are local, professional technicians that do top notch work at a great price. I have a 20 year old vehicle that may have been overlooked had i gone to other locations but i received the same attention as if i had a new car. Dave and his guys are honest and have handled a variety of different installations for me on very different vehicles, always with a good price and more importantly, standing behind their work. If you want one stop done right, this is the place.

I asked for a quote for a car stereo. The total cost, including the installation, was $105 less than the quote in Coeur d'Alene, and was a unit that was five times better. They don't rush an installation to do it improperly. I have a second car and will likely bring it to them also, without needing price quotes from anyone else.~Pozzy Thump

This place was awesome, Dave was very knowledgeable on any questions I had on any of their quality equipment. They squeezed me in on a very tight schedule. They did a great job on the installation. So you can say I'm 100% satisfied! And definitely recommend this place!

As a single female they treated me with respect and got me exactly what I asked for without trying to sell their most expensive products on me. Matt and Dave were great to deal with and got me right in and the customer service was just impeccable. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for quality work and great products.

Customer service was top tier with knowledgeable staff on site. I Was given an excellent deal on install and service aswel as learned a few things when it comes to car audio installation. I highly recommend ther service to anyone looking to upgrade ther stock audio setup.

I do not recommend Performance Auto Sound. Maybe a great install, but horrible customer service. I have called twice to possibly give this place business, and both times the customer service was horrific. I am done calling them, and will spend my money at a place that does both; quality work and customer service. Look at my other Google reviews I am not a negative hard core complainer, but after a conversation where I spoken to as an inconvenience, I felt compelled to share my experience. Btw, I am now scheduled to have the product installed that I was inquiring about with a different local company.

Joe and Dave did a fantastic job helping me pick out what fit my Titan perfectly. I had Performance install all of it as well and it turned out perfect. I would highly recommend them for any of your vehicle audio needs.

This is the best place in Yakima where you can get all of your audio needs. I have been to other audio stores for my car but this was the best by far and they make sure things are done right. Dave is a great salesperson and will work with you to find something within your budget. The installer Matt is such an innovative person and can do just about anything you could imagine in your car. They are a dynamic duo and no other store compares to Perfomance Auto Sound.

These guys were awesome. They listened to what I said, presented the right product and offered a great price. They actually cared about doing business. They got me in right away and installed my sound system quickly. My system sounds great and all the work was very clean. Overall I am very pleased with my experience. The pricing is excellent; Their quote was half the price of a place in Ellensburg and way cheaper than places in Seattle. I did not look around too much but as far as selection goes they have an large variety of Subwoofers and an acceptable variety of stereos.

This place was recommended to me and I came in and the employee I talked to was very respectful and polite but all I asked for was a remote start and to program my convertible to put the top down with a button on the key fob and I told him my budget was 250 to 300 maybe 350 and he continued to encourage me to buy the top of the line equipment that literally cost 750 to a grand I feel like this place is way to expensive they don t take into consideration of the customer and there budget for what they have to work the guy quoted me 400 dollars for basic cheap remote start lol it s all good because I went down the street to stereo one and window tinting and they got me the best remote start with a security system screen and everything for 320 dollars and to program my convertible only 30 bucks when the other guy had quoted me 250 just for that. stereo one and window tinting also tuned my stereo for free and I didn t even buy from them so if you don t want to drop twice what you would spend anywhere else don t go here

They were great! Helped me a lot! I have a 93 Jeep Wrangler and trying to set it up as hidden and theft proof as possible and they aided in that adventure!!! Two 12's, Box, amp, dash speakers and tweets is difficult to say the least, but they did an amazing job. As well as helped me with a good amp that powered everything!

Customer service is horrible!! I came in to this place and ask if they can see why my radio screen wasn't turning on and to see if it was the screen or the cables so that way I can buy a new one off them and the guy said "we don't do partial work" I have no idea what that ment and I tried to tell him if he wanted to come and look at what I'm trying to say and he denied all rude and said we only install, all I wanted to do was get my music playing asap I heard good things about this shop but when I went it was the complete opposite, never again will I pop up here

By far the best audio store I ve ever been too. Always very helpful and friendly. Can call them or go to the store, get great help either way. They have done all the work that has ever been done in my truck. There is no other place I would ever go besides there.

Matt and Dave are very pleasant and easy to deal with. Dave, the new manager, its absolutely awesome. He goes above and beyond to get the job done and so does Matt. Dave is the perfect mixture of friendly and professional.

Dave is defiantly one of the best salesmen that i've ever dealt with. He isn't out to make a bunch of money off you, he wants to help you get what you want, no BS. Matt is by far the best installer in town.
