Fantastic Customer Service and Wonderful Service Work!Highly suggest, from one business to another.We had taken both our service rigs into Bakers Auto to get an overall inspection done on both as it has been some time since the vehicles have had a little attention. Bakers is great, I know that I can trust them. They fixed the problem that other shops couldn t figure out, at a price I was happy with. I would say your car is in good hands left with Chuck or Jeff at Bakers.

I beat up the undercarriage of my prius pretty good taking it on some dirt roads. Parts of it were hanging and scraping the ground. Chuck fixed it for me free of charge. Just moved here and will be a loyal customer now.

We broke down on our road trip as a family of 5 plus dog in tow. I tried calling their emergency # as our car was being towed. They returned my phone call quickly and we were able to drop the car off at the end of hours. Jeff and everyone went above and beyond to get us on the road within 24 hours. Jeff searched high and low for the part we needed and made sure it was there and fixed as soon as he could. Amazing customer service!

On a road trip with a friend, my car started feeling weird. We pulled into Baker s and the car died before I could get it into a proper parking spot. Everyone on their team stopped to help two stranded women. They helped us locate a rental car and *drove us to pick it up*!! They go beyond good customer service, they are genuine and want to help. If my car had to die, I m grateful it happened in their parking lot. If I was a local to Yakima, there is no doubt they would be my go to auto repair. Truly, I m forever grateful to them!

Took my car in because I couldn t get it to start. Would have been easy for them to take advantage but they did the exact opposite and were very honest and only recommended and did the work necessary. Finding this kind of honesty is rare nowadays. I've been using Baker's Auto Repair for years. I have highly recommended them since my first experience.This past weekend, I ran into a bit of trouble headed home from 2 states away! I called Baker's Auto (on a Sunday afternoon) knowing they were closed. But I took a chance and dialed the extension used for "emergency" calls. I left my message and hit the road again, just trying to make it back home.Jeff & Sarah called back! Sarah calmed me down, asked a few questions and knew enough about my vehicle to assure me I could get home ... just take it easy up those hills!Long story short, there is a huge problem with my car but thanks to the Baker Family, I know I'll be up and running again soon!If you're in need of an honest and reliable shop with top customer service, go straight to Baker's Auto Repair in Yakima. You'll NEVER be disappointed. Go to them with everything from a screw in your tire to a complete oil change to a new transmission. The job will be done right the first time!

Jeff and Sarah are amazing! I broke down in Yakima on my way through to NE Washington from Phoenix. My back tires completely locked up and Jeff had to replace the whole thing. He even came to the shop when the tow truck dropped off my car after hours to look at my car. The price was unbelievable! He gave me such a deal and I'm so grateful. Sarah met me back at the shop on a Saturday to give me my car back. Great people and great service! Can't say enough nice things about these people.

My husband and I were lucky enough to break down in the wonderful little town of Yakima, and stumble upon Jeff Baker and his auto shop. They fit us right in and were able to quickly identify the issue with our car. We were very impressed with Jeff's expertise and professionalism. Only complaint is that we don't live within a day's drive to Yakima... otherwise, we'd be life-long customers to this establishment. Thank you Jeff and Sarah!

Baker Automotive is awesome. I have a 2017 Ford f150 ecoboost that had the cam phasers replaced at Pingrey Ford in Selah. When I got my truck back, my truck would not show up on any diagnostics tool. When I took it back to Pingrey Ford, they were rude and dismissive. They flat out refused to even look at my truck or fix what they did - even if I paid out of pocket. With a lot of good recommendations, I took my truck to Baker Automotive. Without hesitation, Jeff at Baker Automotive took my truck into the shop that very day and repaired it in less than an hour - it started reading as it should. The cost was much cheaper than I expected and Jeff managed to fix 3 months of headaches within one hour. We broke down on our first day of vacation in our rv. We got towed from bakers auto where they brought us in and found our fuel pump had died. Excellent service everyone was awesome and now we're back on the road. We thank them very much for the great work

For the last year we have been back and forth with so many different mechanics and not one could truly figure out why the car would shake or where it was leaking from. It wasn t until this last time that the car left my wife and my daughter on the side of the road that I felt it was time invest in a new car. I called a few places before setting on Baker s Auto Repair. Sarah was really welcoming and courteous so that made a good first impression. They were able to repair the car within a day. When I went to go pick up the car, Jeff was there to greet me and explained everything that he had done in detail and why he decided to make the repairs. When I drove the car home it was like night and day. The engine didn t shake anymore, there were no weird noises, the ride was smooth. I really appreciate the work they did on my wife s car and highly recommend them to those who have struggled with car issues.

Had an alignment done cause car was shaking and have a road trip for my birthday this weekend. They didn't do it right and my car sways and swerves. Called back to have it fixed the right way this time and magically I have a three day wait. So awesome. I get to pay for you not to fix my car cause you seem to be the standard lazy ass mechanic I can find under any old shade tree

I took my car is for an oil change and a gdi fuel induction service. Right away I could tell how much smoother my car was driving. The customer service was also amazing! They get me in in a timely manner and the price was cheaper than other quotes I received.

Baker's Auto Repair saved us! I was driving my car across the country when my charging system indicator light (battery light) suddenly came on in Eastern Washington. I checked the user manual and learned it meant my alternator had stopped working, and we were running on battery power alone! We turned off all electronics (including AC in 100 degree temps) and I frantically searched for a mechanic who could accommodate us immediately, within battery-power distance from us (all without stopping, because we knew we wouldn't be able to restart the car if we stopped). Baker's was able to see us that same day; we puttered in on the last dregs of our battery at about 4pm. The folks at Baker's sprung into action -- got my car onto a lift and started running diagnostics, then worked with the Technet warranty folks to get the repair authorized, then got on the phone and got us a new alternator to be delivered overnight! They then found us a nearby motel (and personally drove us there!), and by 11am the next morning, they had called to tell us the car was all fixed! True saviors! I am so grateful to Baker's for their attentiveness, competence, kindness, and speed! We completed our cross-country trip in tact, only a day behind schedule! And because they worked with the Technet warranty folks so well, the entire repair was covered! Thank you, Sarah and Chuck and everyone at Baker's Auto!Services: Electrical, Battery

Great business to take a vehicle in for repairs . Good staff and you don't have to bring it back because the work performed is done correctly the first time .Fair prices and if you need a ride home or work they will take you there . Very good people there .

The guys at Baker's bailed us out. We were on our way to Oregon to visit family. We had four young kids and it was getting close to sunset on Friday. We were headed toward Yakima from I-90 and the battery light came on, then the TV quit working and the headlights dimmed. I knew we were in trouble. My wife started calling shops in Yakima immediately. It was already 4:30 pm and we knew it would be tough to get anyone to take a look at it. We found a shop that was open and called them. They said they did not have anyone on site that could help; they referred us to Baker's. She called Baker's and explained our situation. They said they would stay open and wait for us. We made it in to the shop and they diagnosed what I suspected, the alternator had had it. One of their guys jumped in a truck and went to pick up a new one. Two of them worked together to replace it quickly and we were on the road again. What I thought would cost us the weekend ended up being a 45 minute pit stop. The team at Baker's is great. If we lived in Yakima it would be the only place I would go. I hope this helps if you're looking for a mechanic in the Yakima area.

Imagine driving from Walla Walla to Seattle to catch a cruise for your honeymoon. Now imagine your car dying just outside of Yakima, it was awful. Then came Jeff at Baker's auto repair saving the day. On his day off this man happened to be in the shop and was more than happy to get us fixed up and on the road. The work was completed quickly and the job done top notch.You don't want anything going wrong on your honeymoon, but if it happens to be an issue with your car and you happen to be near Yakima then you are in luck. I could not reccomend this business more.
