I have had a good time with this company and the guys who run the branch. Not bad for the monthly payments. But my goodness whatever you do don t leave your rig running and miss a breathalyzer test window. You would think a guy might be able to walk away from his truck for 10-15 minutes while the vehicle is warming up or idle (after the second test 5 minutes in) and not have to worry about missing a test. It would be nice if the company made an app that would notify a customer when the device issues a test so they can step away from the vehicle and not have to worry about being struck with an $80+ charge. Yesterday I went to go feed my chickens and I left my rig on because it s January and where I live we have a thing called winter anyways next thing I know my trucks horn is blaring and I m stuck with a 4 day window to get to the shop. I just think there must be some way to make the process more user friendly for the customer. Especially being that this is meant to prevent alcohol consumption while driving I would think that even if a customer misses an initial test window but is able to pass the test to get the horn to stop blaring that they should not have to take the vehicle into the shop for a recalibration let alone pay more money. It just feels like a nice little trap is set up to make more money off of people just living their lives . I m being punished though I had not a single drop of alcohol in my system. I m finding with every new day new levels one will stoop to for the almighty dollar.Disappointed: YesSurprised: No

I have had nothing but problems with the devices that were installed into my vehicle. The calibrations have been taking close to an hour every time I go in. There are hidden fees around every corner. The devices malfunction regularly. I try and go in the mornings and often times the techs show up after the 9am posted opening time. The techs themselves are great dudes. The company is truly just operating a money grab system. It appears they don't invest anything into new, more user friendly technology. Currently sitting in the shop entering my second hour of waiting for a simple calibration. I would not recommend

Ommar and Tony were both very helpful and inviting. Walked me through everything and explained everything very well. Absolutely happy I went with Smart Start - they made a difficult situation just a bit easier.

Installation $99! Smart Start employee from their Yakima store made special trip up as he had prior experience with Vintage Class A Motorhomes (subject vehicle). Workmanship first rate & performed in a timely manner. "Competitor" in East Wenatchee was no competition at all, having quoted $290 for the same install-no explanation as to why the steep price increase. All staff at Smart Start were friendly, knowledgeable & inquired as to whether I had any questions after viewing instructional videos.All things considered. I can't imagine a better group of people to put my trust in. What could have been a stressful & costly encounter, turned out to be a positive & useful 2 hours, putting me back on the road again!

Had my first experience today with dealing with an ignition interlock device. The staff at smart start, Wenatchee , specifically Tony and Bobby were beyond helpful with the install, the explanations and answers to my questions. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable, turning a stressful situation into an experience I feel confident in. Thank you guys! Jebediah C

Tony Cruz and Bobby Herrera have done an amazing job showing me how to work the device and I have experienced the best customer service I have ever had. I have had no problems and highly recommend Smart start. God bless.

Units ALWAYS have issues. I've had probably a dozen of them, they swap them out like candy because of all the problems with them. They won't register that you blew and have to restart them to get them to work. They have twice now gone off while the vehicle was off and no one in it so it went into lock out. Guess what? Now they get to charge you again for the lock out and because they have to calibrate it again. Oh almost about to get it out? Add four months to your time. I have never once had a single violation that was the cause of me drinking, only ever errors of the device. The state requires you to have it so they know they've got you by the shorts and can pull whatever they want because you have no options.

Well it was wonderful camper fast didn't know what they were doing Tony took him a couple hours to get it done and the price was great I have used these guys in the past before the machines are reliable an easy-to-use I recommend this guy's

Workers are friendly and do a great job never had a problem with any of the equipment only problems I have heard of myself are from operator error and then them blaming the company cause they cant take blame for themselves I personally have sent 4 other people here and they have had it for awhile themselves and again only time they have had issues was do to their own fault
