We had free entrance and watched the drag races for an hour and a half. Very entertaining. There are bleachers for observing on both sides of the track. There is a small concession stand and offerings are limited.

I spent a large part of youth and Young adult life at the track. We lived at the Twin Bar Ranch which is just the other side of the fence at the far end of the track. My brother and I worked for Dee and Carol Adams (absolutely Great People)the previous owners. when I was 12yrs old my brother and I came up with an idea to take down the No Trespassing we belly crawled through the grass to one lone bush just in front of the finish line, best seats on the property!! We got caught Dee and the Sheriff put the fear of God in into us Carol came out of the concession stand and saved us (God Bless Her)!! Two weeks later I started working there cleaning the track after the races what ever they could for me to do during the races did that for 10yrs from age of 12-22 Great Memories!!!

The semi final round had 3 cars in it. 2 ran, 1 would not even start. The rule book is clear: the driver must stage the car under its own power, even with a single, in order to advance to the next round, otherwise they were to be disqualified. In direct conflict with this rule, the non-starter was advanced to the final round. When the semi final winner came up to run the final round, the non-starter still would not start. Somehow or another, the non-starter was named runner-up in the final. The runner-up from the semi final round should have been named runner-up for the race in this instance.The question was brought to Derek (the owner) about how this was allowed to happen. Instead of trying to calmly explain his thoughts and reasoning behind that decision, he promptly says, and I quote: "This is my racetrack, and I can change the rules however I want to. I can do what I want, this is an outlaw track. If you or anyone else doesn't like it, you don't have to come here." He also said he makes more money off of the Diesel truck drags and other events than he does bracket racing. All this was stated while getting in my face in the staging lanes.At a time when a lot of race tracks are closing, you would think the operators of the remaining tracks would be a little more customer-service oriented and welcoming, instead of the unhinged behavior that Derek is notorious for giving. We all spend way too much time and money on our cars and getting to and from the tracks to be treated the way Derek treats people.

Amazing time, home town feel and the cars were run through quickly, no dull moments for the whole day. Very cheap entertainment you won't be disappointed!

It's always fun being down at the raceway! There's food, drinks and port-a-potties to use. You can either sit in the stands or park along the side wall of the track and sit in your car, back of your truck or in a chair.It's a family affair, don't miss out on bringing your kids down to enjoy the fun.

I have a buddy that works there his name is Cody, I believe he runs the booth or something like that, I haven't been there myself yet but he says good things about the place. BTW do any of you know my buddy Cody? I'm trying to get a hold of him.

Nice racetrack in the open fields of Yakima. Lots of space for campers, trailers and drag racing activities or car shows. I recommend bringing all your own water, tp, food and amenities because there's nothing there and you're 20 minutes from town

Bought T-shirts for the event. Realized later they sold us shirts from last year's event... Grr grr grr. They had on shirts from this year's event

Good place been going since was a kid.Only complaint jet cars an nitro cars put first over everyone else. Have sat hours waiting to get dial in runs only to not get any at all. They should run later after the rest and would be a better show with the flames at night.

My 1st time there, my first time back at a drag strip since 1999. LOVED IT. SIGHTS, SOUNDS & SMELLS. Very cool. It's my home track now so I'm very excited for next season.

I love this place. One of my favorite tracks on the west coast. We race everywhere. The track manager is a good friend of ours! Always welcome here.

5 stars from a photographer point of view. If you can get permission in advance it's a great track for photos. As a spectator you still get a great view and decent amenities. The porta-johns have always been clean and the water/soda is not too over priced. Bring your sunglasses, it's almost always sunny.

We loved it.. it was our first time there.. We are looking forward to one more weekend. Plan on returning in April 2020 to do time trials with the SS..
