We have used Walla Walla Transmission since Zach took over the business. Zach and crew are fair, trustworthy and all around good guys. He and Ryan are 2 of the nicest guys and we have recommended many people, who in turn have done the same.

Zach and his team provide exceptional, efficient service! Even if you know it's coming, getting transmission work done is never fun, and can be incredibly frustrating. Zach was attentive and understanding with all of my questions and got back to me quickly when he needed to do a little extra research for my inquiry. At each step, he helped me feel my vehicle was in the right hands, gave me an estimate that was more than fair, and had me back on the road same day. Highly recommend reaching out to WW Transmission Specialists if you have automotive work that falls under their areas of expertise.Service: Transmission

I was quoted for $7K of work from another shop in town. I brought my vehicle to Zack for a second opinion and was informed that my vehicle does not need any work and the work I was quoted from the other shop, was due to a spill when my oil was last changed. I really appreciate WW Transmission s candor and respectable business practices. I will be using them for all my vehicle needs moving forward!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Took my Chevrolet Avalanche for repairs due to Low Oil Pressure. They replaced the oil pump pickup tube O-ring. The mechanics were so generous to take the time to send me updated pictures of the mechanical work being performed during and after the job was complete. The problem with my vehicle was fixed and Zack the owner and his staff did excellent work on my Chevrolet and I would highly recommend them to everyone who is in need of repairs with there vehicle's.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This place is horrible and liars. Had my vehicle towed in before Christmas. Ordered the rear end that they said they needed was told that they would get my vehicle on the schedule. Once they receive the part part arrived on a Thursday called them. The following Monday was told it could be up to three weeks before they got to my vehicle, even after paying half of the repair bill in advance, ended up having to tow my vehicle out on Jan 13 to a different shop to get a vehicle repaired. This is my families only vehicle. When I asked for a refund, they still charge me for the diagnostic, which they did not do, which was made a parent to us when they told us, they didn t know if the transfer case was messed up at all as well as by the new shop that actually did a diagnostic As well as the shop is price gouging several other shops in the area quoted me around $700 to $800 for just labor since we provided the part that Shop was going to charge us around 1200 to 1300 just labor and 1100 for the part used when this part used goes for between 500 and $800 with shipping do yourself a favor take your vehicle to another shop this place will take you for a ride that you will not like and charge near 50% more than any other shop if this is how they do business, I would hate to see how they stand by warrantees, if any

After moving here in 2013 I have tried a few auto repair shops in town but after finding WW Transmission I have taken all of my auto needs there. I find the pricing fare, the quality of the parts used excellent, the level of experience of the staff well above average and the scheduling very convenient. I have no problem recommending them to my family and friends.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

My truck died due to a bad fuel pump, and this truck is all I have and it was vital to make it to work on time, and their shop was the only one open at the time. They took it in quickly, I wasn't late, and they got my vehicle fixed and gave me a discount even though I didn't ask for any. Amazing service and they got me back on the road in relatively short order before the end of the day, despite my concern of getting home. Thank you so much! It was a good end to a very bad day.

I am super impressed with the service! I had a truck that wouldn't start, so it was a struggle to get it on a tow dolly and when I brought to them, I was unable to get it off the tow dolly. They removed it from the dolly for me! No questions asked. With that said, they diagnosed my truck and had it running in no time. What I look for is not only good service, but also professionalism and authenticity. These guys have that! I am grateful to the team at Walla Walla Transmission and plan to bring my truck again in the future if it is ever in need of repair. Thanks again!

Brought my daughters Jeep because of check engine light cylinder misfire and rough idle. $100 to diagnose and fix! They were awesome and earned my business. There is a reason there is a waiting list. I highly recommend them

On a road trip with our 37' motor home. Transmission warning light came on just outside of Walla Walla. We asked at the Four Seasons RV park for a good transmission shop and they told us about Walla Walla Transmissions. I called that day at 4:30pm about getting it looked at. Ryan whom I spoke with said they were scheduling out 10 to 14 days but if we could bring it in at 7:00 am they could work it into the morning schedule to look at it trouble shooting the codes. We brought it in at 7:00 and Ryan said they should be able to get me the information hopefully by 12:00.He called with an update and they discovered that one of the spark plug wires had shorted out and causing the engine to misfire. They did a tune up on the engine at my request (reasonably price too) and I had the motorhome ( our bedroom) back and running by 5:00 pm. Being from the Seattle area these guys went above and beyond helping us out and getting us back on the road. Being in business for myself for the last 30 years in Seattle, this is the type of customer service is what I try to instill in our employees. I have talked to several people in the area since and they all have agreed that Walla Walla Transmission is the best place in the area to have work done on your vehicle. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!

Never take your car to this repair shop. I had my car towed there after being reassured that they would be able to get right to my vehicle. Upon calling the shop I was told that all repairs were two weeks out and they would be unable to get to my car. When they finally got back to me I was told that the repair was $500 for parts and labor, the part in question having a cost of $75_90. When I told them I could not afford the repair they charged a $100 inspection fee and refused to give my car back until I paid it. This is a very dishonest business that preys on peoples ignorance. I'm advising everyone I know to stay away from this shop.

Friendly and Fast Service. However, they misdiagnosed the problem with my Subaru. WWTS told me the forward clutch was burnt up, and that they would need to replace the entire transmission. I decided to get a second opinion from another shop in town who actually hooked the car up to the computer, and found the transmission was still in good working order, and that the issue was not the forward clutch, but the Mass Airflow Sensor and O2 sensor... A much cheaper fix!

It's a replacement shop not a repair shop. They lied to me.They just take your money. Worthless. Before dropping off the car you told me you can repair these transmissions, then after you had tore my car apart you changed your tune. Oh no we don t work on these transmissions only replace them . I already knew there was something wrong with the transmission, I didn't need to pay you over $100 to tell me that.

Ryan and his staff are honest and trustworthy. My truck broke down in Walla Walla on Friday during the snow storm. After quoting me a worst case of getting a total rebuild, he had my truck ready Monday afternoon for a fraction of what they quoted me. Thanks so much!

I brought on a swapped drive train, when the snow was flying and didnt have the time or space to work on it. Walla Walla Transmission was able to figure out the issue with my clutch, get my parts and rig back on the road quickly at a reasonable price. Kept me informed throughout the processes.

Zac and Ryan have always listened to my information and questions about my Prius. They never talk condescendingly because I am a woman. This shop cares for my car with the same quality standard as others and gives me confidence for my wild adventures.

My mom's car died, needed a new battery, they came and gave her a free jump start so she could get it over there and they got it fixed up with a new one. She also got a rebate thing for the battery they put in, which is also cool.

Expensive, not road tested, then added expense to fix 5 of their serious mistakes. They didn't replace the shift knob they mangled. As a mechanic, I was reminded why I almost always do my own work. (I was stranded away from home.)
